Kadłub górniczej lokomotywy, zwłaszcza lokomotywy górniczej akumulatorowej lub spalinowej dla różnych szerokości toru o prostokątnym kształcie skrzyniowym, stanowią moduły czołowych kabin (1) oraz burt (2) połączonych czołowo rozłącznie, kształtując prostokątny kadłub, a sterownicze kabiny (1) na płaszczyznach czołowych (3) od strony wewnętrznej mają co najmniej trzy rzędy (4, 5, 6) przelotowych otworów (7) o prześwicie A między rzędami równym połowie różnicy szerokości kadłuba dla określonego zakresu szerokości toru, a burty (2) od stron czołowych mają porzeczne kołnierze (8) z co najmniej dwoma rzędami (5, 6) przelotowych otworów (7) o prześwicie A między rzędami równym połowie różnicy szerokości kadłuba dla określonego zakresu szerokości toru. Pozwala to na tworzenie kadłubów o różnej szerokości odpowiedniej do szerokości toru.
