The package is designed for 6 beer bottles of 0.33 dm 3 , weighing a total of about 20N (2 kg), so the strength of the handle is of course adequate, even under shock loads normally encountered during the transport of packages. A similar static tearing strength can be obtained for a blank with the handle of Fig. 3, also suitable for protection against an anticipated static load of about 60N (6 kg) and shock loading due to transport.
