Description of the invention

The subject of the invention is a transport package, in particular for bottles, provided with a bottom panel, opposing side panels and front panels, a dividing panel, and a main handle panel. The packaging is of the basket type and can be used for packing not only bottles, but also other containers with a narrowed upper part. For the sake of simplicity of description, only bottles are mentioned hereinafter.

The invention also relates to the method of folding this package.

Typically, the bottles are arranged in rows on both sides of the central dividing panel, which is also the handle of the package. The bottles are usually additionally separated from each other by complementary partition panels, perpendicular to the central partition panel and extending to the side panels of the package. In this way, cells are formed into which the bottles are placed.

Known basket-type packages require multiple folds to form a divider. The blank of such a package must be rotated or shifted during its folding, which makes the folding process of the package slow. This problem has been avoided by developing the package structure with a partially differently solved fixing and dividing unit. As this assembly simultaneously seats and fixes the bottles in the cells intended for them, it was called the placement assembly.

A disadvantage of the known packages is the large amount of cardboard needed to make a blank and a basket-type package provided with a plurality of dividing panels. A further disadvantage is that the bottles can be easily removed from individual cells by unauthorized persons.

In some known solutions, easy removal of the bottles from individual cells is prevented by the use of apertured cover plates for the bottles, the cover plates being removed after purchasing the bottle pack. Cover plates additionally protect the bottles against dirt and dust.

However, when the cover panels are removed, the strength of the package is significantly reduced and it can no longer be used in any way for carrying and storing bottles. This is also due to the fact that the removal of the cover panels, combined with their tearing off, also tears the other package panels. The same undesirable effects are obtained when the bottles are pressed too forcefully into the openings of the cover panels.

The object of the invention is to provide a structure of such a basket-type package that overcomes the drawbacks of the previously known packages.

This object is accomplished according to the invention by providing a package structure which is provided with a bottle landing unit, in the form of a fastening flap, provided with openings in which parts of the bottles are placed, a reinforcing flap covering the main handle flap, and flaps connecting the landing flap. with opposite side panels of the packaging.

The reinforcing sheet of the handle is preferably attached to the main sheet of the handle of the package.

The flaps connecting the seating unit to the opposite side panels of the package are preferably glued flaps separated by a fastening flap and a reinforcing flap of the handle.
