Technologie otrzymywania zeolitów syntetycznych umożliwiają produkcję materiałów o ściśle zdefiniowanych właściwościach dostosowanych do różnych aplikacji. In nature, zeolites occur as natural minerals. For several decades, they have also been synthesized on an industrial scale using various processes and raw materials. The technologies of obtaining synthetic zeolites enable the production of materials with precisely defined properties adapted to various applications.
XX wieku. The main method of producing synthetic zeolites is the hydrothermal method. The intensive development of this method took place in the 1940s.
Znaczenie przemysłowe, przy wytwarzaniu zeolitów, mają następujące metody:The following methods are of industrial importance in the production of zeolites:
The process temperature ranges from 80 to 200 ° C. The synthesis of zeolites takes place in a vessel to which an aqueous solution of KOH or NaOH and the base material are added. The thus obtained reaction suspension is filtered and the precipitate is rinsed with distilled water until the eluent's pH is about 10. Then the resulting product is dried for several dozen hours at a temperature of about 100 ° C in order to remove water particles adsorbed on the inner surface of zeolites, • hydrothermal synthesis of zeolites under increased pressure (using autoclaves), • synthesis of zeolites by fusion; in the first step of this process, the fly ash and NaOH are ground to a homogeneous mixture which is then melted for 1-2 h at about 550-650 ° C, then, in the second step of the process, the melt is ground and combined with with water, the mixture is stirred for several hours at a temperature of 20 to 100 ° C, then zeolite crystals are obtained from the suspension formed in the crystallization process for several hours at an elevated temperature, which are separated from the solution in the filtration process and washed several times with water and dried.

NaOH solution with a concentration of 0.5-8 M is poured into the loose ash in the amount of 1-20 ml of solution per 1 g of waste - fly ash composition. The mixture obtained in this way is thoroughly mixed (mechanical agitation) and sealed in a reactor in which the pressure is increased to the level of 0.1-0.6 MPa, preferably 0.4 to 0.6 MPa, more preferably 0.5 MPa , keeps the reaction system in this state for a period of 2 to 10 minutes, preferably 5 minutes, and then the reaction system is heated to a temperature above 70 ° C at a constant rate of 2 ° C / min, preferably to a temperature of 75 to 160 ° C, more preferably 140 ° C, while increasing the pressure in the reaction system to a level above 1 MPa, preferably to a level of 1.1-1.8 MPa. The heating time at the reaction temperature, i.e. at a temperature above 70 ° C, is 1-6 h, and the operating pressure is max. 1.8 MPa - carrying out the zeolite synthesis reaction. After annealing, the reaction system is cooled at a rate of 0.3 ° C / min. The total process time is up to 24 hours.
Upon completion of the described process, the spent NaOH solution is removed into a suitable container. After autoclaving, the material hardly binds to a solid deposit (it solidifies at the walls of the reactor), but it is easy to remove after crushing it gently.
Otrzymane zeolity umieszcza się w zbiorniku z wodą podgrzaną do temperatury 30°C i wyk orzystując myjkę ultradźwiękową płucze się je kilkukrotnie wodą do momentu uzyskania pH odcieku poniżej 9. Następnie zeolity suszy się w temperaturze 100-110°C przez 6 do 12 h.The obtained zeolites are placed in a tank with water heated to 30 ° C and, using an ultrasonic cleaner, rinsed several times with water until the effluent pH is below 9. The zeolites are then dried at 100-110 ° C for 6 to 12 hours.
The conducted research confirmed that the use of the method according to the invention for the synthesis of zeolites based on ashes from combustion and co-combustion of biomass with coal makes it possible to obtain synthetic zeolites with programmable properties, while the obtained parameters exceed those of natural zeolites, especially if it is about cation and anion exchange capacities. XRD analyzes have shown that as a result of the synthesis process described in the invention it is possible to obtain such zeolites as: sodalite, faujasite, chabazite, etc.
As a result of the synthesis carried out by the method according to the invention, a zeolite material was obtained with a significantly increased adsorption capacity against model solutions (1 M ammonium acetate CH3COONH4 (cation exchange capacity) and phosphate buffer (KH2PO4 in K2HPO4) with a PO4 concentration of 0.04 M / dm 3 (exchange capacity anions)). These are the solutions that are commonly used as representative when comparing the adsorption capacity of zeolites.
Dla przykładu popioły ze spalania biomasy PKS (Palm Kernell Shell - rozdrobniona łupina orzecha palmy - olejowca gwinejskiego) zawierają w swoim składzie do 55% wagowych SiO2, podobnym składem charakteryzują się popioły ze spalania słomy, natomiast popioły ze spalania łusek słonecznika posiadają w swoim składzie jedynie do około 30% wagowych SiO2.The reasons for the beneficial effects of the use of fly ashes formed during combustion and co-combustion of biomass with coal as a material for the synthesis of zeolites should be sought in the simultaneous presence of the amount of minerals derived from both ashes from biomass combustion (forest and agricultural, etc.), which is beneficial for the zeolitization process. as well as from fly ash generated during co-combustion with coal. Depending on the type of biomass used for combustion, different amounts of minerals used for the synthesis of zeolites are obtained. For example, ash from the combustion of PKS biomass (Palm Kernell Shell - shredded palm nut shell - Guinea oil) contains up to 55% by weight of SiO2, ash from straw combustion is characterized by a similar composition, while ash from sunflower husk combustion is only composed of up to about 30% by weight of SiO2.
The zeolites obtained by the process according to the invention are characterized by a large specific surface area and favorable average pore diameters. The advantage over other solutions is the simplicity of the method, low costs and short duration of the process. In addition, it has been proven that the zeolite materials obtained in accordance with the invention have better parameters than the natural zeolites commercially available on the market.
Wynalazek objaśniono poniżej w przykładach wykonania, ujawniających warianty wytwarzania materiału zeolitowego dla trzech różnych materiałów wejściowych. The invention is explained below in working examples disclosing variants for producing a zeolite material for the three different input materials.
