Wynalazek dotyczy urzadzenia i sposobu niedestrukcyjnego wykrywania obic i stref gnicia owoców i warzyw (6), skladajacego sie ze zródla (1) promieniowania elektromagnetycznego w pasmie dolnym dlugosci fali, zródla (2) promieniowania elektromagnetycznego w pasmie górnym dlugosci fali oddzielonym od wspomnianego pasma dolnego, czujnika radiometrycznego (3) przeksztalcajacego otrzymana moc promieniowania elektromagnetycznego na sygnaly elektroniczne, urzadzenia do obróbki (5) sygnalów elektronicznych podajacego wskaznik wadliwosci na podstawie mocy przenoszonej przez owoc (6) w pasmie dolnym i w pasmie górnym.
