Abstract

W zgłoszeniu stwierdzono, że występuje korelacja między genotypem genu MMP1 (rs 1799750), poziomem cynku w surowicy a ryzykiem raków u kobiet. Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób określania ryzyka raka, charakteryzuje się tym, że obejmuje ocenę konstytucyjnej zmiany w genie MMP1 -1607 1G > 2G (rs 1799750) oraz ocenę poziomu cynku w próbce biologicznej badanej kobiety, przy czym kombinacja poszczególnych genotypów z określonym poziomem cynku wskazuje znacząco zwiększone lub zmniejszone ryzyko rozwoju raków, przy czym uznaje się, że ryzyko raków u kobiet: - dla genotypu MMP1n2G/2G przy stężeniu cynku w surowicy < 1000 µg/l (lub stężeniu w dowolnym materiale biologicznym odpowiadającym stężeniu w surowicy) jest podwyższone; - dla genotypu MMP12G/2G przy stężeniu cynku w surowicy < 1000 µg/l (lub stężeniu w dowolnym materiale biologicznym odpowiadającym stężeniu w surowicy) jest obniżone.The report found that there was a correlation between the genotype of the MMP1 gene (rs 1799750), serum zinc and the risk of cancer in women. The subject of the application is a method for determining the risk of cancer, it is characterized in that it includes the assessment of the constitutional change in the MMP1 -1607 1G> 2G gene (rs 1799750) and the assessment of the level of zinc in the biological sample of the examined woman, where the combination of individual genotypes with a specific level of zinc indicates significantly increased or reduced risk of developing cancers, whereby the risk of cancer in women is considered: - for the MMP1n2G / 2G genotype at serum zinc <1000 µg / l (or concentration in any biological material corresponding to serum concentration); - for the MMP12G / 2G genotype at a serum zinc concentration <1000 µg / l (or in any biological material corresponding to the serum concentration) is reduced.
