Wiązanie podwójne substratu redukuje się za pomocą systemu enzymatycznego szczepu bakterii z rodzaju Rhodococcus albo Gordonia.The subject of the application is 4-ethyl-4'-methyl - α, ß-dihydrochalcone and the method of obtaining 4-ethyl-4'-methyl - α, ß-dihydrochalcone, of formula 2, by means of microbiological transformation, in which the substrate is used 4-ethyl-4'-methylchalcone, of formula 1. The double bond of the substrate is reduced by means of an enzyme system of a strain of Rhodococcus or Gordonia.
