Wiązanie podwójne substratu redukuje się za pomocą systemu enzymatycznego szczepu bakterii z rodzaju Rhodococcus albo Gordonia.The subject of the application is a method for the preparation of 4-methoxy-4'-methyl - α, ß-dihydrochalcone, of formula 2, by microbial transformation, in which 4-methoxy-4'-methylchalcone of formula 1 is used as the substrate. the substrate is reduced by means of an enzyme system of a strain of Rhodococcus or Gordonia.
