Przedmiotem wynalazku są symetryczne iminy z rdzeniem tertiofenowym o wzorze 1, w którym jako ugrupowania boczne (R) zawierają pochodne fenylowe lub benzotizowe, znajdujące zastosowanie w wytwarzaniu urządzeń fotowoltaicznych, w szczególności, w ogniwach słonecznych, w postaci warstwy zawierającej te związki. Zgłoszenie obejmuje także sposób otrzymywania symetrycznych imin z rdzeniem tertiofenowym o wzorze 1, charakteryzujący się tym, że w atmosferze gazu inertnego, korzystnie azotu lub argonu, dodaje się związku 2,2': 5',2"-tertiofen-5,5"-, korzystnie w postaci dialdehydu, do związku o wzorze R, korzystnie w postaci aminy, w obecności katalizatora kwasowego i prowadzi się reakcję w przedziale temperatur (140 ÷ 200)°C, w okresie od 24 godzin do 168 godzin. Otrzymany osad poreakcyjny rozpuszcza się w dimetylacetamidu. Powstałą mieszaninę wlewa się do wody, a otrzymany surowy osad przemywa się kolejno etanolem i acetonem. The application also covers a process for the preparation of symmetrical imines with a tertiophene core of formula I, characterized in that 2.2 ': 5', 2 "-terthiophene-5.5" is added under an inert gas atmosphere, preferably nitrogen or argon. , preferably in the form of a dialdehyde, to a compound of formula R, preferably in the form of an amine, in the presence of an acid catalyst and the reaction is carried out in the temperature range (140-200) ° C for a period of 24 hours to 168 hours. The obtained reaction precipitate is dissolved in dimethylacetamide. The resulting mixture is poured into water and the resulting crude solid is washed successively with ethanol and acetone. The sludge is then subjected to a drying process.
