Elektrolit stanowi wodny roztwór o stężeniu od 0,001 M do 5 M zawierający anion N,N-dietyloditiokarbaminianowy o wzorze 1 ulegający reakcji redoks do disulfidu tetrametylotiuramu o wzorze 2.The subject of the invention is an electrochemical capacitor with a carbon electrode with redox properties working in a water electrolyte, containing electrodes separated by a porous membrane and made of carbon material with a developed specific surface area of 2000 m2 / g. The electrolyte is an aqueous solution ranging from 0.001 M to 5 M containing the N, N-diethyldithiocarbamate anion of the formula 1 undergoing redox reaction to the tetramethylthiuram disulfide of the formula 2.
