Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób otrzymywania mikronizowanych i opcjonalnie modyfikowanych powierzchniowo pyłów węglanu wapnia (CaCO<sub>3</sub>) o charakterystyce granulacji d<sub>9</sub>7 < 20 µm, który charakteryzuje się tym, że nadawę, w postaci naturalnego materiału mineralnego zawierającego wapień, korzystnie w postaci kamienia wapiennego, o granulacji od 10 mm do 100 mm a lepiej od 20 mm do 60 mm, i zawartości wilgoci od 2% do 12% a lepiej od 3% do 5%, korzystnie w ilości od 20 Mg/h do 50 Mg/h a lepiej od 25 Mg/h do 35 Mg/h, kieruje się do młyna młotkowego (1), tam jednocześnie suszy się ją ogrzewając gorącym gazami o temperaturze na wlocie od 400°C do 800°C a lepiej od 600°C do 700°C, korzystnie w ilości od 20 000 Nm<sup>3</sup>/h do 45 000 Nm<sup>3</sup>/h a lepiej od 30 000 Nm<sup>3</sup>/h do 35 000 Nm<sup>3</sup>/h, i jednocześnie się ją aktywuje mechanicznie krusząc, do momentu powstania mikrospękań ziaren i do momentu otrzymania polidyspersyjnej mieszaniny o zakresie uziarnienia od 0,01 µm do 4 mm a lepiej od 0,01 µm do 3 mm i zawartości wilgoci od 0,08% do 0,15% a lepiej od 0,09% do 0,11%, którą następnie poddaje się klasyfikacji ziarnowej I stopnia, prowadzonej na I separatorze (3) powietrznym, podczas której polidyspersyjną mieszaninę rozdziela się na dwie frakcje: mączkę wapienną o granulacji od 0,01 µm do 100 µm, korzystnie w ilości od 12 Mg/h do 18 Mg/h a lepiej od 14 Mg/h do 15 Mg/h i frakcje grube o granulacji powyżej 100 µm, korzystnie w ilości od 12 Mg/h do 18 Mg/h a lepiej od 13 Mg/h do 16 Mg/h, po tym mączkę wapienną o granulacji od 0,01 µm do 100 µm, poddaje się klasyfikacji ziarnowej II stopnia, prowadzonej na II separatorze (4) powietrznym, podczas której mączkę wapienną rozdziela się na dwie frakcje: mączkę o granulacji od 0,01 µm do 45 µm, korzystnie w ilości od 7,5 Mg/h do 10,5 Mg/h a lepiej od 8,0 Mg/h do 9,0 Mg/h i mączkę o granulacji od 45 µm do 100 µm, korzystnie w ilości od 4,5 Mg/h do 7,5 Mg/h a lepiej od 5 Mg/h do 6,5 Mg/h, po tym mączkę o granulacji od 0,01 µm do 45 µm mikronizuje się poddając ją klasyfikacji ziarnowej III stopnia, prowadzonej na III separatorze (8) powietrznym, do momentu otrzymania mikronizowanych pyłów węglanu wapnia (CaCO<sub>3</sub>) o uziarnieniu d<sub>97</sub> < 20 µm, najlepiej o uziarnieniu d<sub>97</sub> = 5 µm albo d<sub>97</sub> =  10 µm albo d<sub>97</sub> = 15 µm, po czym opcjonalnie mikronizowane pyły węglanu wapnia (CaCO<sub>3</sub>) o uziarnieniu d<sub>97</sub> < 20 µm, najlepiej o uziarnieniu d<sub>97</sub> = 5 µm albo d<sub>97</sub> = 10 µm albo d<sub>97</sub> = 15 µm, modyfikuje się powierzchniowo, używając modyfikatora w postaci wyższych alifatycznych kwasów karboksylowych lub soli tych kwasów. Zgłoszenie obejmuje także zestaw urządzeń do otrzymywania mikronizowanych i opcjonalnie modyfikowanych powierzchniowo pyłów węglanu wapnia (CaCO<sub>3</sub>) o charakterystyce granulacji d<sub>97</sub> < 20 µm, zawierający zestawione i połączone ze sobą szeregowo i/albo równolegle w ciąg technologiczny urządzenia rozdrabniające, separujące, grzejne, składujące, dezintegrujące, mieszające, filtrujące, transportujące połączone ze sobą liniami przesyłowymi, przemieszczającymi materiał pomiędzy urządzeniami grawitacyjnie i/albo pneumatycznie, najlepiej rurociągami technologicznymi i/albo zsypami.
