Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest samo-startująca turbina wiatrowa o pionowej osi obrotu, gdzie jej łopata składa się z dwóch profili aerodynamicznych mniejszego (2) i większego (1) w odpowiednim położeniu względem siebie, gdzie mniejszy profil (2) jest pomniejszonym profilem (1).
