Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób utleniania geraniolu w obecności katalizatora, polegający na mieszaniu geraniolu z katalizatorem w ilości od 0,5% wag. do 5% wag. w stosunku do geraniolu pod ciśnieniem atmosferycznym, z intensywnością mieszania 500 obr./minutę, w atmosferze tlenu podawanego z butli przez bełkotkę stosując przepływ tlenu 40 ml/minutę, w czasie od 15 minut do 360 minut. Istota wynalazku charakteryzuje się tym, że jako katalizator stosuje się proszkowy diatomit Proces prowadzi się w temperaturze 70°C - 100°C. Korzystnie stosuje się proszkowy diatomit o składzie: K 0,159%, Ti 0,119, Fe 0,849%, Al 1,116%, Si 37,272% i Ca 0,403%. Korzystnie do reaktora szklanego wprowadza się w pierwszej kolejności geraniol, później katalizator, na samym końcu doprowadza się tlen przez bełkotkę.
