Abstract

Nieoczekiwanie ustalono, że istnieje bardzo mocna, nawet ponad 20-krotna korelacja, pomiędzy stosunkiem stężeń miedzi do cynku w próbce surowicy a ryzykiem zgonu z powodu raka prostaty wśród chorych z tym nowotworem.Unexpectedly, it was found that there is a very strong correlation, even more than 20-fold, between the ratio of copper to zinc concentrations in a serum sample and the risk of death from prostate cancer among patients with this cancer.
