Do celów elektrycznego spawania luko¬ wego uzywano dotad pradnic o wzbudzeniu obcem, zasilanem pradem badz z obcej sie¬ ci, badz z osobnej wzbudnicy, przyczem przy pomocy odpowiednich srodków utrzy¬ mywano stala wartosc pradu i napiecia lub tez jakis okreslony stosunek tych wielko¬ sci. Maszyny takie komplikuja urzadzenie, czyniac je ciezszem i drozszem. Maszyna az do punktu zwrotnego, to znaczy do gra¬ nicy nasycenia magnetycznego, znosi wiec wieksze obciazenie. Rysunek przedstawia dwa przyklady wykonania wynalazku. Fig. 1 przedstawia schematycznie maszyne bocznikowa, której jedyny pomocniczy rdzen magnetyczny mo¬ ze byc zblizany lub oddalany od indukuja¬ cych czesci maszyny, a fig. 2 przedstawia maszyne bocznikowa, w której zastosowa¬ no regulacje pradu, przeplywajacego, przez magnes pomocniczy.W wykonaniu wedlug fig. PL PLFor electric arc welding, previously, externally excited generators were used, powered by current from either an external network or a separate exciter, whereby appropriate means were used to maintain a constant current and voltage value or a specific ratio between them. Such machines complicate the device, making it heavier and more expensive. The subject of the invention is therefore a device enabling the use of a self-excited shunt machine, thereby avoiding all previous difficulties. When using a shunt machine according to the present invention, the inducing force is taken not only from the shunt field, but also from one or more magnets through which the welding current flows, in whole or in part. According to the invention, in addition to the main field generated by the shunt current, a magnetic system is used, powered by the main current and having a separate iron core, which is excited from the beginning during the period of load of the machine. As a result, the reversal of the magnetization curve of the total composite field is significantly delayed compared to that of the main-shunt machine. The machine therefore withstands a greater load up to the turning point, i.e., the limit of magnetic saturation. This has a beneficial effect on the shape of the load characteristic, especially in its lower part at 20-30 volts. By appropriately selecting the saturation levels of the auxiliary and main pole system, it is easier to achieve a steeply falling machine characteristic, more favorable for welding. Because under load, voltage is induced in a different part of the space, i.e., the field shifts, the position of the auxiliary poles relative to the machine brushes must change, which can be achieved, for example, by movably mounting these poles. The drawing shows two embodiments of the invention. Fig. 1 schematically shows a shunt machine whose single auxiliary magnetic core can be moved closer or further away from the inductive parts of the machine, and Fig. 2 shows a shunt machine in which the current flowing through the auxiliary magnet is regulated. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1, the workpiece /, constituting one electrode, is connected by a wire 2 to one brush 3 of the shunt machine 4 with a shunt winding 5; The rod 6, constituting the second electrode, is not connected directly to the second brush 8 via the wire 7, but via the coil 9 of the auxiliary magnet 10. The core of this magnet 10 is movable and for this purpose is mounted on a two-armed lever 11, the swinging of which is limited by the adjusting screws 12 and 13. The embodiment according to Fig. 2 differs from the previous one only in that the rod 6 is connected directly to the brush 8 via the wire 7, just as the workpiece 1 is connected to the brush 3 via the wire 2. However, a switch 14 is inserted in the wire 7, which allows only part of the welding current to pass through the wires 15 and 16 to the winding 9. Auxiliary magnet 10. The operation of both devices is as follows: If in a normal shunt machine the external circuit were to short circuit, as often happens in arc welding, the magnetic field would be so weakened that there would be no energy required to ignite the arc. The auxiliary magnet 9, 10 counteracts this, because even during a short circuit, its magnetic flux is maintained and, depending on the selected intensity, produces a certain amount of energy. In this way, the required amount of energy can also be obtained when igniting the arc. When the arc then stretches, the resistance in the external circuit increases and the shunt field starts to operate accordingly. The action of the auxiliary pole 9 could, of course, be regulated by stronger magnetization of the shunt field yoke 5. PL PL
