The coatings of the preparation should be at the same time well adhering to the metal surface and hard enough not to be easily damaged by mechanical damage. A washable preparation for the protection of metal products against atmospheric corrosion, containing, among others, asphalt, petrolatum and organic solvents according to the invention is characterized by containing a synthetic phenylpropane resin, modified rosin and esterified glycerin, preferably with a melting point of not less than 100 ° C and an acid number of up to 20 mg KOH / g in an amount of 5 to 40% by weight, highly melting asphalt with softening temperature not lower than 80 ° C and penetration at 20 ° C not more than 60 ° P, in the amount of 10 to 60% by weight, petrolatum in the amount of 20 to 70% by weight, petroleum solvent or a mixture of organic aliphatic solvents of cyclic and cyclic and preferably Nethylaminomorpholine oleate in an amount of 0.1 to 6% by weight.
