Abstract

Inventia se refera la prepararea nitrometanului, prin nitrarea metanului în faza gazoasa omogena, folosind acid azotic, peroxid de azot sau amestecul acestora. Raportul molar metan/agent nitrat este cuprins între 0,1 si 5, presiunea de reactie între 1si 35 at, temperatura între 270 si 600 grade C, timpul de contact este între 0,1 si 120 s. Nitrarea este condusa în prezenta unui agent activ de tip halogen sau derivat al sau, introdus în raport molar de cel putin 3.
