Abstract
The solid fuel is burned in a fluidised bed (3), while the furnace has several combustion chamber modules. Each contains a chamber space (2) surrounded by walls (4,6) an air distribution chamber (9), and a base (8) with an air aperture (10), which separates the chamber spaces form the air distribution chamber and carries the fluidised bed (3). Each module has feed-in devices (11) for fuel, adjusters for air supply, and pipe coils (14) for water heating. Above the combustion chamber is a flap for passage of flue gases.
