Abstract

An apparatus for discharging waste cleaning water containing remains after cleaning a plurality of holds of a bulk carrier, which comprises: a bilge well (8) on the bottom of each of the plurality of holds (9); a plurality of sub-ejectors (13) below each of the plurality of holds (9), for sucking up waste cleaning water from each of the plurality of bilge wells (8); a main waste cleaning water discharge pipe (15) for collecting the waste cleaning water sucked up by the plurality of sub-ejectors (13); a main ejector (16) for sucking up the waste cleaning water flowing through the main waste cleaning water discharge pipe (15) to discharge same to outside the ship; and a liaison pipe (24) between an upstream end of the pipe (15) and a main ballast water supply pipe (2), for introducing part of ballast water into the main waste cleaning water discharge pipe (15) through the main ballast water supply pipe (2) to increase the flow velocity of waste cleaning water flowing through the main waste cleaning water discharge pipe (15). <IMAGE>
