Abstract

It comprises a continuous belt arrangement. The slurry from the inlet tray passes over the endless upper filter belt which includes the first gravitational filter zone. The slurry then drops onto the lower belt and the second gravitational filter zone. The slurry then passes around the roller to a press filter zone. The movable power press rollers cooperate with the static rollers to squeeze out residual water. The slurry is removed as a cake at roller, the removed water is collected in the container.
