200301264 A7 B7 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 五、發明説明(1 ) 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係有關含氟樹脂粉體及其塗料組成物的製造方 法之薄膜真空蒸發法,詳細說,有關於比較高溫的條件下 ,由薄膜真空蒸發裝置除去溶劑時亦不易引起樹脂的凝膠 ,又與含氟樹脂粉體塗料原料溶融混合製造比較時,容易 混合均勻,且具有塗膜的缺陷少的硬化性官能基之含氟樹 脂粉體及其塗料組成物的製造方法。 【先前技術】 聚氟化偏氯二烯爲主成分的分散型熱可塑性含氟樹脂 塗料,或氟化烴及乙烯醚或乙烯酯的共物爲主成分的溶劑 可溶型熱硬化性含氟樹脂塗料,由於其塗膜的耐蝕性或耐 久性、污垢容易脫落等的理由近年來廣泛使用於重防蝕用 、建築用、工業用等塗料的領域(例如,日本特公照 -60-21667、特開照-59-102962 等)。 又,相對於年年深刻化的環境污染問題,提案削減有 機溶劑(VOC)排出量的低公害型的一般粉體氟樹脂塗料 (例如日本特開平1- 103670、日本特平2-60968、!日特開平 6-345822、日本特開平 7-145332 等)。 通常可使用爲粉體塗料的主劑樹脂,係與其他添加劑 混合前,首先以連續式減壓脫溶劑裝置或噴霧乾燥裝置等 將樹脂溶液或分散液除去溶劑固體化的情形較多(例如日 本特開平8- 1 1 83 57等)。 但是這種方法,樹脂滯留於除去溶劑的裝置,有長時 (請先閲讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(210X297公釐) -5 - 200301264 A7 B7 五、發明説明(2 ) 間承受加熱的情況,一部份產生凝膠粒子,凝膠粒子須要 過濾步驟的同時,塗裝性或塗膜物性有下降的情形。 (請先閲讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 其次,如上述的方法製造粉體組成物時,一般採用主 劑樹脂脫溶劑後經粗粉碎,添加硬化劑、各種添加劑混練 後熔融混合再粉碎,經分級製造的方法。因此,由於有這 麼多階段的製造步驟,在成本上要比溶劑型塗料高的問題 。爲解決此問題,嘗試進行調製由原料的主劑樹脂、硬化 劑、種添加劑於溶液中溶解或分散之原料溶液,除去溶劑 直接得到粉體塗料。 例如日本特開2000-34426,提案使用如甲醇的低沸點 溶劑,將通常使用爲粉體塗料的主劑樹脂的丙烯酸樹脂等 及其硬化劑等的添加劑混合後,以噴霧乾燥,或供給至連 續式減壓脫溶劑裝置除去揮發分得到粉體塗料。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 但是,依本發明者等的發現,具有硬化性官能基的含 氟樹脂時,與丙烯酸樹脂不同,使用更低沸點的溶劑亦有 殘留的問題。即其一爲聚合後的溶液中,由於比較高沸點 的未反應單體殘存,以低溫度的乾燥或以連續式減壓脫溶 劑裝置除去溶劑,不能達成作爲粉體塗料的充分固體成分 濃度的問題點。又,另一者爲提高上述固體成分濃度以較 高的溫度進行除去溶劑時,雖未達產生硬化反應的溫度, 上述的主劑樹脂在脫溶劑的同時引起產生凝膠粒子的問題 點。 第一,本發明爲以具有硬化性:官能基含氟樹脂的溶液 或分散液脫溶劑作爲粉體塗料組成物的主劑樹脂,爾後硬 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(210X297公釐) -6- 200301264 A7 ___B7 五、發明説明(3 ) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 化劑等的添加物以乾式混練製造粉體塗料組成物解決上述 的問題點。第二,以硬化性含氟樹脂、硬化劑、各種添加 劑於溶劑中溶解或分散調製成原料液,由該原料液除去溶 劑直接製造粉體塗料解決上述的問題點。 【發明內容】 【發明之揭示】 本發明爲解決上述的課題,第一,提供含有硬化性官 能基含氟共聚物(A)的溶液或分散液中,加入防止凝膠化 劑(B)混合,此溶液或分散液供給至薄膜真空蒸發裝置, 由該溶液或分散液除去溶劑爲特徵的具有硬化性官能基之 含氟樹脂粉體的製造方法。第二提供硬化性含氟共聚物 (A)的溶液或分散液中,加入防止凝膠化劑(B)、硬化劑 (C)、及必要的各種添加劑(D) ^合,此溶液或分散液供 給至薄膜真空蒸發裝置,由該溶液或分散液除去溶劑爲特 徵的具有硬化性官能基之含氟樹脂粉體的製造方法。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 【用以實施發明之最佳型態】 以下詳細說明本發明的理想實施形態。 (含氟共聚物(A)) 首先,述說有關本發明製造方法體塗料料之中’具有 硬化性官能基的含氟共聚物(A)。 該含氟共聚物(A)係具有硬化性官能基,以使用下述 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(210X297公釐) -7- 200301264 A7 _____B7_ 五、發明説明(4 ) 聚合單元所構成的含氟共聚物爲理想。 (a) 氟烴 35〜99莫耳% (請先閲讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) (b) 具有硬化性官能基單體 1〜30莫耳% (c) 其他可共聚合單體 0〜64莫耳% 更理想爲由以下的聚合單元所成者 (a) 氟烴 35〜65莫耳% (b) 具有硬化性官能基單體 1〜30莫耳% (c) 其他可共聚合單體 20〜60莫耳% 上述有關的(a)的氟烴可爲1種,或2種以上組合 使用。氟烴少於此範圍時,耐候性下降。又多於此範圍時 ’共聚合的組成會不均勻,塗膜的物性降低。又,比(b) 的具有硬化性官能基單體的的範圍少時,硬化不能充分進 行,比此範圍多的時候塗膜的耐候性的降低或增大塗膜的 缺陷。又,(c)的其他可共聚合的單體過多時,塗膜的耐 候性等的膜質下降。且,(c)的下限値爲0%,表示可完全 不含此共聚合的單體。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 有關本發明(a)的氟烴,以三氟乙烯、氯三氟乙烯、 四氟乙烯、三丙烯、四氟丙烯、偏氟乙烯、五氟丙烯、六 氟丙烯、四氟丁烯、五氟丙烯等的含氟的碳數2〜4之氟烴 爲理想,其中亦以三氟乙烯、氯三氟乙烯、四氟乙烯、偏 氟乙烯、六氟丙烯爲理想。又,含氟的同時亦可含氯原子 等的其他鹵原子。 又,有關(b)的具有硬化性官能基的單體,無特別的 限定,例如,(i)羥基、(U)羧基或(iii)環氧基等具有 本紙張尺度適用中.國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(210X297公釐) ~ -8- 200301264 A7 B7 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 五、發明説明(5 ) 硬化性官能基的單體。 具有(i)羥基的單體的例,可列舉如2-羥乙基乙烯醚 、3-羥丙基乙烯醚、4-羥基丁基乙烯醚、4-羥環己基乙烯醚 、1_基甲基-4-乙烯氧基甲基環己烷、丁烯酸2-羥基乙基酯 、.2-羥基乙基烯丙基醚、烯丙基醇、(甲基)丙烯酸2-羥基 乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸3-羥基丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-羥基 丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸4-羥基丁酯等。 具有(Π)羧基的單體的例,如丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、 丁烯酸、異丁烯酸、10-十一碳烷撐酸(十一碳烯酸)、9-十 八碳烯酸(油酸)、富馬酸、馬來酸等不飽和脂肪酸等的具 有羧基單體,或下述式0)、(2)所示含有羧基的單體等。 (1) CH2 = CHOR1 OCOR2 COOM (2) CH2 = CHCH2 OR3 OCOR4 COOM (式中,R1、R3爲碳數2〜15的二價的烴基,R2、R4 爲飽和或不飽和的直鏈狀或環狀的二價烴基,Μ爲氫原子 、烴基、鹼金屬或含氮原子化合物。) 其中,以10-十一碳烷撐酸與氟烴的共聚合性良好爲理 想。 此等的含羧基的單體,可原樣共聚合。或,於乙烯醚 等的酸性環境下與不易共聚合的單體共聚合,聚合時羧基 以鹼性鹽等的形態封閉,聚合後以酸淸洗回復羧基即可。 又’使用具有羥基的單體共聚合得到,該共聚物以如 琥珀酸之性酸酐反應變性爲具有羧基的共聚合物亦可。 具有(Hi)環氧基的單體的例,可列舉如縮泔油基乙 I 裝-- (請先閲讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁)
