Abstract
The invention relates to special treatment of powdered metal for improvement of the properties. The method can be used at the plants of powder metallurgy, machine-building and other branches of industry. A method of obtaining the iron powder from dispersed iron-carbon alloy, including loading of the powder (raw material) into the furnace, supply into the furnace of the inert gas with controlled content of the atmosphere oxidizer, heating and curing in it of the powder with its subsequent substitution by reducing hydrogen atmosphere. The powder is preliminarily heated in the inert atmosphere to 550-700 °C, after which the water vapor is added to it as oxidizer, in formed atmosphere the powder is heated to 820-850 °C and cured during 1-1.5 hours.
