に 関 す る 。 発 明 を 実施 す る た め の 最良 の 形態 本 発 明 の グ ラ フ ト 共重 合体 粒子 は 、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( Α ) と ア ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス お よ び ( ま た は) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( B ) と を 混合 さ せ て 得 ら れ た混合 ラ テ ッ ク ス を凝集共肥大化 さ せ る こ と に よ り 得 ら れ た 共肥大ィヒ ゴ ム に 、 ビ ニ ル系単量体 を グ ラ フ ト 重合 さ せ た も の で あ る 。
前記共肥大化 ゴ ム に 含 ま れ る シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム は、 共肥 大化 ゴ ム 中 に 離型特性 の す ぐ れ た シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム を導入 し て ゴ ム 内 で界面剥離を起 こ し ゃ す く す る た め に 使用 さ れ る 成分であ り 、 一方、 ア ク リ ル系 ゴム お よ び (ま た は) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム は シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム と の 間 に 異種 ゴ ム 界 面を 与え る た め に 使用 さ れ る 成分 で あ る 。
ま た 、 前記共肥大化 ゴ ム に グ ラ フ ト 重合せ し め ら れ る ビ ニ ル系単量体 は、 グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子が熱可塑性樹 脂 と 配合 さ れ た場合 に 熱可塑性樹脂 と の 相溶性 を高 め、 熱可塑性樹脂 中 に グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子を 均一 に分散 さ せ る た め に 使用 さ れ る 成分で あ る 。
近年、 熱可塑性樹脂 の耐衝撃性の 改質 に 有利 な ゴ ム 成 分 は、 T g が低 い と い う こ と だ け で は な く 、 衝撃を 受 け た 際 に ゴ ム 粒子 に集 中 す る 応力 を ゴ ム が ボ イ ド化す る こ と に よ り 速や か に緩和 で き る も の が よ い と 考え ら れて き て い る 。 そ れゆ え、 離型性 に す ぐ れ た シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 粒 子を含む凝集共肥大化 ゴ ム は、 衝撃を受 け た 際 に ゴ ム 粒 子 に 集中す る 応力 を シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 粒子の 界面剥離 に も と づ く ボ イ ド化 に よ り 緩和 し 、 す ぐ れた耐衝撃性を発現 す る と 考え ら れ る 。 し た が っ て、 ア ク リ ル系 ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス お よ び (ま た は) 共役 ジェ ン系 ゴム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( B ) の み の 凝集肥大で得 ら れ る ゴ ム 、 す な わ ち ァ ク リ ル系 ゴ ム 粒子の 肥大 ゴム 、 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム 粒子の肥大 ゴ ム ま た は ァ ク リ ル系 ゴ ム 粒子 と 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム粒子 と の 共 肥大化 ゴ ム を 用 い た だ け の グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子の場合、 高 い 耐 衝撃 性 を 発 現 す る と い う 本 発 明 の 特 徴 は 得 ら れ な い o
本発 明 に お け る シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム と は 、 ゴ ム 弾 性 を 有 す る ポ リ オ ル ガ ノ シ ロ キ サ ン 、 す な わ ち 通常 の シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 、 該 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム と シ リ コ ー ン セ グ メ ン ト を 含 有 し な い 有機 ゴ ム ( た と え ば ア ク リ ル ゴ ム 、 ブ タ ジ エ ン ゴ ム な ど ) と を 化学 結 合 さ せ た 複 合 ゴ ム 、 該 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム と シ リ コ ー ン セ グ メ ン ト を 含有 し な い 有機 ゴ ム と を 互 い に 絡 み 合 う よ う に さ せ た 複 合 ゴ ム 、 さ ら に シ リ コ ー ン セ グ メ ン 卜 を 含 有 す る 有機 ゴ ム な ど で あ る 。

( A ) と は 、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス の み な ら ず 、 シ リ コ 一 ン ゴ ム と ァ ク リ ル系 ゴ ム 、 共 役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム な ど の 他 の ゴ ム と か ら な る 複合 ゴ ム の ラ テ ツ ク ス を 含 む 概 念 で あ り 、 衝 撃 が加 わ っ た 場 合 に 共 肥大化 ゴ ム 中 に 含 ま れ る シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム の 界面剥 離 に も と づ く ボ イ ド が生 じ 、 衝 撃 の 緩 和 が お こ る と 考 え ら れ る も の で あ れ ば 、 と く に 限 定 な く 使 用 し 得 る 。 こ れ ら の う ち で は 、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス 、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム と ァ ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム と か ら な る 複 合 ゴ ム の ラ テ ツ タ ス が 、 製 造 し や す い と い う 点 か ら 好 ま し い 。
な お 、 前 記 ァ ク リ ノレ 系 ゴ ム に お け る ァ ク リ ル 系 と い う の は 、 ゴ ム を 構成 す る 単位 中 に お け る ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル 系 単量体 単 位 の 割 合 が 5 0 % 以上 、 さ ら に は 6 0 % 以 上 で あ る こ と を 示 す 。 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム に お け る 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 と い う の も 同 様 で あ る 。
前 記 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( A ) に 含 ま れ る シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 粒 子 の 大 き さ と し て は 、 平 均 粒 子 径 2 0 〜 2 0 0 n m 、 さ ら に は 2 0 〜 1 5 0 n m で あ る の 力' 後述 す る 共肥 大 化 操作 に よ っ て 共 肥大化 さ せ や す い 点 か ら 好 ま し い 。
ま た 、 前 記 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 粒 子 に 含 ま れ る 溶剤 不溶 分 量 ( ゲ ル 含 有量 : サ ン プ ル を 室 温 で ト ル エ ン に 2 4 時 間 浸 潰 し 、 1 2 0 0 0 r p m で 1 時 間 遠心 分離 し た と き の ト ル エ ン 不 溶 分 の 重量 分 率 ) は 0 〜 1 0 0 % で あ る が 、 好 ま し く は 0 〜 4 0 % も し く は 6 0 〜 : L 0 0 % で あ る の が 、 衝 撃 強 度 の 発 現 の 点 か ら 好 ま し い 。
さ ら に 、 前 記 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 粒 子 に 含 ま れ る シ リ コ 一 ン 成 分 の 割 合 と し て は 、 形 成 さ れ る 共肥大 化 ゴ ム 中 の シ リ コ ー ン 含有量 が所定 の 範 囲 に な る 限 り 特 別 な 限 定 は な い が 、 5 0 % 以上、 さ ら に は 6 0 % 以 上 で あ る の が耐 衝 撃 性 の 発 現 の 点 か ら 好 ま し い 。 上 限 は 1 0 0 % で あ る 。

前記数 // m以上の 乳化液滴 は、 ホ モ ミ キ サ 一 な ど高速 撹 拌 機 を 使 用 す る こ と に よ り 調 製 す る こ と が で き 、 2 0 0 - 5 0 0 n m の 乳化液滴 は 、 高圧 ホ モ ジ ナ イ ザ ー や超音波分散機な ど の 特殊 な 分散機を使用 す る こ と に よ り 調製す る こ と が で き る 。

( B ) 成分 と し て 使 用 さ れ る ア ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス は 、 ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル酸 ア ル キ ノレ エ ス テ ル 単 量体 、 分 子 内 に 重 合性 不 飽 和 結 合 を 2 つ 以 上 含 む 多 官能 性単 量体 お よ び そ の 他 の 共 重 合可能 な 単量体 な ど の 単量 体 混 合物 を ラ ジ カ ル重 合 開 始剤 お よ び要 す れ ば連 鎖移 動 剤 も 用 い て 通常 の 乳化重 合 法 ( た と え ば 特 開 昭 5 0 - 8 8 1 6 9 号公報 や 特 開 昭 6 1 一 1 4 1 7 4 6 号 公 報 に 記 載 さ れ た 方 法 な ど) に よ っ て 重 合 さ せ る こ と に よ り 得 る こ と が で さ る o
前記 ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル 酸 ア ル キ ル エ ス テ ル単 量体 と は ア ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム の 主 骨格 を 形成 す る 成分 で あ る 。 そ の 具 体 例 と し て は 、 ア ク リ ル酸 メ チ ル 、 ァ ク リ ノレ酸 ェ チ ノレ 、 ア ク リ ル酸 プ ロ ピ ル 、 ア ク リ ル酸 プ チ ル 、 ア ク リ ル 酸 2 — ェ チ ル へ キ シ ル な ど の 炭素数 1 〜 1 2 の ア ル キ ル 基 を 有 す る ァ ク リ ル 酸 ア ル キ ル エ ス テ ル 、 メ タ ク リ ル 酸 2 — ェ チ ル へ キ シ ル 、 メ タ ク リ ル酸 ラ ウ リ ル な ど の 炭素数 4 〜 1 2 の ア ル キ ル 基 を 有 す る メ タ ク リ ル 酸 ア ル キ ル エ ス テ ル が あ げ ら れ る 。 こ れ ら の 単量体 は 単 独 で 使 用 し て も よ く 2 種 以 上 を 併 用 し て も よ い 。 こ れ ら の な か で は 、 得 ら れ る 重 合体 の ガ ラ ス 転移 温度 の 低 さ お よ び 経 済性 の 点 か ら 、 ァ ク リ ノレ 酸 プ チ ル を 4 0 ~ 1 0 0 % 、 さ ら に は 6 0 〜 : L 0 0 % 含 む も の が好 ま し く 、 ま た 、 の こ り の 共 重 合成分 と し て は 、 た と え ば ア ク リ ル酸 メ チ ノレ 、 ァ ク リ ル酸 ェ チ ル 、 ァ ク リ ル 酸 2 — ェ チ ル へ キ シ ル な ど が あ げ ら れ る 。
前記分子 内 に 重 合 性 不飽 和 結合 を 2 つ 以 上 含 む 多 官 能 性単量体 は 、 ア ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム 粒子 に 架橋 構造 を 導 入 し 、 ネ ッ ト ワ ー ク 構造 を 形 成 し て ゴ ム 弾 性 を 発 現 さ せ る と と も に 、 得 ら れ る 共肥 大 ィヒ ゴ ム に グ ラ フ 卜 重 合 す る ビ ニ ル 系単量体 と の グ ラ フ 卜 活性点 を 提供 す る た め に 使用 さ れ る 成分 で あ る 。 そ の 具体例 と し て は、 フ タ ル酸 ジ ァ リ ル、 シ ァ ヌ ル 酸 ト リ ア リ ル 、 イ ソ シ ァ ヌ ノレ 酸 ト リ ア リ ル 、 メ タ ク リ ル 酸 ァ リ ル、 エ チ レ ン グ リ コ ー ル ジ メ タ ク リ レ 一 ト 、 ジ ビ ニ ル ベ ン ゼ ン な ど 力 あ げ ら れ る 。 こ れ ら は 単 独 で使用 し て も よ く 2 種 以上 を 併用 し て も よ い 。 こ れ ら の な か で は 架 橋 効率 お よ び グ ラ フ ト 効率 が よ い と い う 点 力、 ら メ タ ク リ ル酸 ァ リ ル 、 シ ァ ヌ ル酸 ト リ ア リ ル 、 イ ソ シ ァ ヌ ル酸 ト リ ア リ ル が 好 ま し い 。

前記 ァ ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス を 製 造 す る 場 合 の 好 ま し い 単 量体 の 使 用 割 合 は 、 ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル酸 ア ル キ ル エ ス テ ル 単 量 体 力 6 6 . 5 〜 9 9 . 9 %、 さ ら に は 8 5 〜 9 9 . 9 %、 分 子 内 に 重 合性不飽 和 結 合 を 2 つ 以 上 含 む 多 官能 性 単 量体 が 0 . 1 〜 1 0 % 、 さ ら に は 0 . 1 ~ 5 %お よ び そ の 他 の 共重合可能 な 単 量体 力 0 〜 2 0 %、 さ ら に は 0 〜 1 0 %で あ り 、 こ れ ら の 合 計 力 1 0 0 % と な る よ う に 使 用 さ れ る 。 前 記 ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル 酸 ア ル キ ル エ ス テ ル 単 量体 の 使 用 割 合 が 少 な す ぎ る 場 合 に は 、 ゴ ム と し て の 性 質 に 欠 け 、 耐 衝撃 性 の 発 現 効 果 が 低下 す る こ と と な り 、 多 す ぎ る 場 合 に は 、 分 子 内 に 重 合 性不 飽 和 結 合 を 2 つ 以 上 含 む 多 官能性 単量 体 の 割 合 が少 な く な り す ぎ、 用 い た 効果 が 充 分得 ら れ な く な る 傾 向 が生 じ る 。 ま た 、 分 子 内 に 重 合性 不飽和 結合 を 2 つ 以 上含 む 多 官 能 性単量体 の 使 用 割 合 が 少 な す ぎ る 場 合 に は 、 架 橋密 度 が 低 す ぎ て 耐 衝 撃 性 の 発現効果 が低 下 し 、 多 す ぎ る 場 合 に は 逆 に 架 橋 密 度 が 高 く な り す ぎ て や は り 耐 衝撃 性が 低下 す る 傾 向 が生 じ る 。 な お 、 そ の 他 の 共重 合可能 な 単量体 は 、 屈 折 率 ゃ 耐 衝 撃性 の 調 整 な ど の た め に 使 用 さ れ る 成 分 で あ る が 、 使 用 す る こ と に よ る 効 果 を 得 る た め に は 0 . 1 %以 上 使 用 す る の が好 ま し い 。 一方、 ( B ) 成分 と し て使用 さ れ る 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス は、 共役 ジ ェ ン と そ の 他 の共重合可能 な 単量 体 と を ラ ジ カ ル重合開始剤 お よ び要す れ ば連鎖移動剤 も 用 い て通常の 乳化重合法 に よ っ て重合す る こ と に よ り 得 る こ と 力 で き る 。
前記共役 ジ ェ ン は共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム の 主骨格 を形成す る 成分で あ る 。 そ の 具体例 と し て は 、 1 , 3 — ブ タ ジ ェ ン 、 イ ソ プ レ ン 、 ク ロ 口 プ レ ン な ど 力 あ げ ら れ る 。 こ れ ら は単独 で使用 し て も よ く 2 種以上 を 併用 し て も よ い 。 こ れ ら の な かで は、 1 , 3 — ブ タ ジ エ ン 力 、 ゴ ム と な つ た 場合 T g が低い と い う 点 で好 ま し い。
ま た 、 前記 そ の 他の共重合可能 な 単量体 は屈折率や 他 の ゴ ム 成分 と の親和性の調整の た め に使用 さ れ る 成分で あ る 。 そ の 具体例 と し て は 、 ア タ リ ロ ニ ト リ ノレ 、 メ タ ク リ ロ ニ ト リ ゾレ な どの シ ア ン ィ匕 ビ二 ル単量体や ス チ レ ン 、 α — メ チ ル ス チ レ ン 、 パ ラ メ チ ル ス チ レ ン な ど の 芳香族 ビニ ル単量体 な どが あ げ ら れ る 。 こ れ ら は単独で使用 し て も よ く 2 種以上を併用 し て も よ い 。
前記共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス を製造す る 場合の 好 ま し い 単量体の 使用 割合 は 、 共役 ジ ェ ン 5 0 %以上、 さ ら に は 6 0 % 以上で 1 0 0 % 以下、 そ の 他の共重合可能 な 単量体 5 0 %以下、 さ ら に は 4 0 %以下で 0 %以上で あ る 。 前記共役 ジ ェ ン の 使用 割合が少 な す ぎ る 場合 に は ゴ ム と し て の 性質 に 欠 け 、 耐衝撃性の発現効果が低 く な る 。 な お 、 前記そ の 他 の共重合可能 な 単量体 は 任意成分 で あ る た め 使用 し な く て も よ い が、 こ れ ら は屈折率 の調 整や 熱可塑性樹脂 と の親和性の 調整の た め に使用 す る 成 分で あ る た め 、 使用 す る 目 的 を達成す る た め に は 0 . 1 % 以上使 用 す る の が好 ま し い 。
前 記 ァ ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス お よ び 前 記共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス の 乳化重 合 で 使 用 さ れ 得 る 、 前 記 ラ ジ カ ル重合開始剤や 、 要 す れ ば 使用 さ れ る 連 鎖移 動 剤 は 、 通常 ラ ジ カ ル重合 で 用 い ら れ る も の で あ れ ば と く に 限 定 さ れ な い 。

前記有 機 過 酸 化 物 ま た は 無 機過 酸 化物 を 用 い る 場合、 硫酸第 一鉄 / グ ル コ ー ス / ピ ロ リ ン 酸 ナ ト リ ゥ ム 、 硫酸 第一鉄 / デ キ ス ト ロ 一 ス ピ ロ リ ン 酸 ナ ト リ ウ ム 、 ま た は 硫酸 第 一鉄 ナ ト リ ゥ ム ホ ル ム ァ ノレ デ ヒ ド ス ル ホ キ シ レ 一 ト Z ェ チ レ ン ジ ア ミ ン 酢酸塩 な ど 混 合物 を 還元 剤 と し て 併 用 す る こ と が で き る 。 還元剤 の 併 用 は 、 重合温 度 を 低 く で き る こ と か ら と く に 好 ま し い 。
こ れ ら の ラ ジ カ ル 重合 開 始剤 の 使 用 量 は 、 用 い ら れ る 単量体 混 合物 1 0 0 部 に 対 し て 、 通 常 、 0 . 0 0 5 〜 1 0 部 、 好 ま し く は 0 . 0 1 〜 5 部 で あ り 、 さ ら に 好 ま し く は 0 . 0 2 〜 2 部 で あ る 。 ラ ジ カ ル重合開始剤の量が あ ま り に も 少 な い 場合、 重 合速度が低 く な り 、 生産効率が悪 く な る 傾向 に あ り 、 ま た、 あ ま り に も 多 い場合 に は 、 得 ら れ る ア ク リ ル系 ゴ ム あ る い は 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム の 分子量が低下 し 、 耐衝撃性 が低 く な る 傾 向 に あ る 。
連鎖移動剤 の具体例 と し て は、 t - ド デ シ ル メ ル カ ブ タ ン 、 n — 才 ク チ ノレ メ ノレ カ ブ タ ン 、 n — テ ト ラ デ シ ノレ メ ル カ ブ タ ン 、 n — へ キ シ ル メ ル カ ブ タ ン な ど力く あ げ ら れ る 0
連鎖移動剤 は任意成分で あ る が、 使用 す る 場合の 使用 量 は、 耐衝撃性の 発現の点か ら 単量体混合物 1 0 0 部 に 対 し て 0 . 0 0 1 〜 5 部で あ る こ と が好 ま し い 。
ま た前記乳化重合を行な う 際 に 用 い ら れ る 乳化剤 は、 前 記 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( A ) の 製 造 の 際 に 使 用 さ れ得 る 乳ィ匕剤の ほ か、 ォ レ イ ン 酸 カ リ ウ ム 、 ォ レ イ ン 酸 ナ ト リ ウ ム 、 ロ ジ ン酸カ リ ウ ム、 ロ ジ ン酸ナ ト リ ウ ム 、 パ ル ミ チ ン 酸 カ リ ウ ム 、 パ ル ミ チ ン 酸 ナ ト リ ウ ム 、 ス テ ア リ ン 酸 カ リ ウ ム な ど の脂肪酸金属塩を 使用 で き る 。 こ れ ら は単独で使用 し て も よ く 、 2 種以上を併用 し て も よ い o
シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( A ) と ァ ク リ ノレ 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス お よ び ( ま た は ) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( B ) と を混合 さ せて混合ラ テ ツ ク ス にす る 際の割合は、 本発明 の 熱可塑性樹脂 に高 い耐衝撃性を 与え る と い う 効 果が得 ら れ る 範囲 で あ る 、 シ リ コ ー ン含有量が全 ゴ ム 成 分中 の 1 〜 9 0 %、 好 ま し く は 5 〜 6 0 %、 よ り 好 ま し く は 1 0 〜 5 0 % で あ る 。 全 ゴ ム 成分中 の シ リ コ ー ン 含 有量が少 な す ぎ る 場合、 ま た は多 す ぎ る 場合 に は、 い ず れ も 共肥大化 に よ る 効果が充分得 ら れず、 熱可塑性樹脂 の 耐衝撃性の 向上が充分で な く な る 。
前記混合 ラ テ ッ ク ス の 固形分濃度 と し て は 1 0 〜 5 0 %、 さ ら に は 2 0 〜 4 0 % で あ る の が凝集共肥大化の 容 易 さ の点か ら 好 ま し い 。
前記混合 ラ テ ツ ク ス を凝集共肥大化 さ せ る こ と に よ り 得 ら れ る 共肥大化 ゴ ム は、 平均粒子径が 1 5 0 n m以上、 さ ら に は 2 0 0 n m以上であ り 、 ま た 1 2 0 0 n m以下、 さ ら に は 1 0 0 0 n m 以下の も の が耐衝撃性の 発現 の 点 力、 ら 好 ま し い 。 こ の よ う な 平均粒子径の 共肥大化 ゴ ム に は 、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( A ) 中 の シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 粒子 な ら び に ァ ク リ ル系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス お よ び ( ま た は) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( B ) 中 の ア ク リ ル系 ゴ ム粒子 お よ び ( ま た は) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム 粒子の そ れ ぞれの 粒子が多数集 ま っ て く つ っ き あ っ た 状態で含 ま れ て い る 。 こ の 結果、 得 ら れ る グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子を 熱 可塑性樹脂 に 配合 し て成形体を製造す る と 、 衝撃を 受 け た 際 に ゴ ム 粒子 に 集中す る 応力 に よ り ゴ ム の ボ イ ドィ匕力く お こ り や す く な り 、 応力が緩和 さ れや す く な る と 考え ら れ る 。
前記混合 ラ テ ッ ク ス の凝集共肥大化 は、 た と え ば、 混 合 ラ テ ッ ク ス に 、 硫酸 ナ ト リ ウ ム な どの 無機塩、 塩酸 な どの無機酸、 不飽和酸単量体 と ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル酸 ア ル キ ルエ ス テ ル単量体 な ど と の 共重合 に よ っ て得 ら れ る 酸 基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス な ど を 添加す る な ど の 一般的 な方法 に よ り 行 な え ば よ い。 酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ツ ク ス を混合 ラ テ ッ ク ス 1 0 0 部 (固形分) に 対 し て 0 . 1 〜 1 5 部 (固形分) 、 さ ら に は 0 . 2 ~ 1 0 部 (固形分) を添加 し て凝集肥大 さ せ る こ と が、 凝集肥大後の凝塊物 が少な く な る 点か ら 好ま し い。
前記酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス の 添加量が少 な す ぎ る 場合 に は、 実質的 に凝集肥大が起 こ り に く く な る 傾向 が生 じ る 。 酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス の 添加量を 多 く す る に し た が い共肥大化 ゴ ム の 平均粒子径 は次第 に 小 さ く な る が、 添加量が 1 5 部を こ え る と 、 耐衝撃性の 低下 な ど好 ま し く な い現象が生 じ や す く な る 。
前記酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス は 、 不飽和酸単量体 1 〜 3 0 %、 さ ら に は 1 〜 2 5 %、 ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル 酸 ア ル キ ル エ ス テ ル 単量体 3 5 〜 9 9 %、 さ ら に は 5 0 ~ 9 9 %、 お よ び こ れ ら と 共重合可能 な そ の 他の 単量体 0 〜 3 5 %、 さ ら に は 0 〜 2 5 % と を 、 前 記 ア ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス ま た は 前 記共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス の 製造 に使用 さ れ得 る ラ ジ カ ル重合開始剤 お よ び要す れば 連鎖移動剤 も 用 い て、 通常の 乳化重合法 ( た と え ば特開 昭 5 0 — 2 5 6 5 5 号公報、 特開平 8 — 1 2 7 0 3 号公 報、 特開平 8 — 1 2 7 0 4 号公報に記載さ れた方法な ど) に よ っ て共重合す る こ と に よ り 製造す る こ と が で き る 。
前記不飽和酸単量体の具体例 と し て は、 ア ク リ ル酸、 メ タ ク リ ル酸、 ィ タ コ ン酸、 ィ タ コ ン 酸モ ノ エ ス テ ル、 マ レ イ ン 酸 、 マ レ イ ン 酸 モ ノ エ ス テ ル 、 ク ロ ト ン 酸 、 フ マ ル酸、 ケ ィ ヒ 酸、 ソ ル ビ ン 酸な どが あ げ ら れ る 。 こ れ ら は単独で使用 し て も よ く 2 種以上を併用 し て も よ い 。

前 記酸基含有共重 合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス に 含 ま れ る 酸基 含 有 共 重合体 中 の 不飽和 酸 単量体 単 位 の 割 合 が 少 な す ぎ る 場 合 に は 、 混 合 ラ テ ツ ク ス を 凝 集共肥大化 さ せ る 能 力 が実 質 的 に な く な る 傾 向 に あ り 、 多 す ぎ る 場 合 に は 、 酸基 含 有 共重 合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス の 重 合 は 不可 能 で は な い が 、 凝 塊 物 の 生 成 や 重 合中 に ラ テ ッ ク ス の 増 粘 が起 こ る な ど す る た め 、 工 業 的 な 生産 に 適 さ な く な る 傾 向 に あ る 。 ま た 、 前 言己 ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル 酸 ア ル キ ル エ ス テ ル 単量体単 位 の 割合が少 な す ぎ る 場合 も ま た、 多す ぎ る 場合 も い ずれ も 肥大能が低下 し 未凝集粒子が増加す る 。 さ ら に 、 前記共 重合可能 な そ の 他の 単量体単位の 割合が多す ぎ る 場合 に は、 凝集共肥大化能力 が低下 し て、 未凝集粒子が増加す る 傾向が生 じ る 。 と く に、 分子内 に 2 つ 以上の 重合性不 飽和結合を 有す る 単量体の場合 に は、 0 〜 3 % の範囲で 使用 さ れ る べ き で あ り 、 そ れを こ え た場合、 凝集共肥大 化能力が大幅 に 低下 し て し ま う 。
前記酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス を製造す る 場合、 酸 基含有共重合体 ラ テ ツ ク ス を得 る た め に 用 い ら れ る 単量 体を 1 段階で重合 さ せ る の で は な く 、 2 段階 に 分 け て重 合 さ せ る こ と が好 ま し い。 た と え ば、 酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ツ ク ス を 得 る た め に用 い ら れ る 単量体の 全量の好 ま し く は、 5 〜 4 0 % 、 さ ら に好 ま し く は 8 〜 3 5 % を 用 い、 1 段 目 の重合で、 T g が好ま し く は 一 9 5 〜 4 0 。C、 よ り 好 ま し く は 一 8 0 〜 3 0 °C、 最 も 好 ま し く は 一 7 0 °C 〜 2 0 °C の 低 い T g を有す る 共重合体 を得 た の ち 、 酸 基含有共重合体 ラ テ ツ ク ス を得 る た め に 用 い ら れ る 単量 体の全量の残部、 す な わ ち 好 ま し く は 6 0 〜 9 5 % 、 よ り 好ま し く は 6 5 〜 9 2 % を、 得 ら れた 共重合体 に添加 し、 2 段 目 の 重合を行 な う こ と に よ っ て、 T g が好 ま し く は 一 2 0 °C〜 8 0 。C、 よ り 好ま し く は 一 1 0 〜 7 0 °C、 最 も 好 ま し く は 2 5 〜 6 0 °C の高 い T g を 有す る 共重合 体を得 る 。
かか る 製造方法 は 、 酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス 製造 時 に凝塊物の 発生量が少な く 、 ま た肥大特性 に す ぐ れ た 酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ツ タ ス が得 ら れ る と い う 利点が あ る 前記酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス は、 平均粒子径 3 0 〜 1 2 0 0 n m 、 固形 分 濃 度 1 0 〜 4 0 % 、 ま た p H 1 . 5 〜 6 の も の 力 好 ま し い 。
前記共肥大化 に 使用 さ れ る 酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ツ ク ス は単独で使用 し て も よ く 2 種以上 を併用 し て も よ い。 共肥大化能力 の異 な る 酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ツ ク ス を 2 種以上使用 し て、 二山分布や 幅広 い 粒子径分布 を有す る 共肥大化 ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス を 得 る こ と も 可能で あ る 。 共肥 大化の 処理温度 は 2 0 〜 9 0 °C 、 さ ら に は 4 0 〜 7 0 °C が好 ま し い 。
前記酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス は、 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス の 温度が肥大処理温度 に到達 し た の ち に 、 添加す る こ と も で き る し 、 4 0 °C 以下の 温度で ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス に 添加 し 、 撹拌 し な が ら 4 0 〜 9 0 °C ま で昇温 し て凝集共肥大 化処理す る こ と も で き る 。 ま た 、 逆 に、 酸基含有共重合 体 ラ テ ツ ク ス を あ ら か じ め 仕込ん だ容器 に 、 共肥大化 さ せ る ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス を あ と か ら 供給 し て も よ い 。
前記凝集共肥大化処理 に 際 し て 、 酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ッ ク ス の ほ か に 無機塩を 混合 ラ テ ッ ク ス 1 0 0 部 (固 形分) に 対 し て 0 . 0 1 〜 5 部併用 し て も よ い。 無機塩 を添加す る こ と に よ り 肥大効果を 向上 さ せ る こ と がで き る o
前記無機塩 と し て は、 塩化 ナ ト リ ゥ ム ゃ硫酸 ナ ト リ ゥ ム の よ う な ァ ノレ カ リ 金属塩 、 カ リ ウ ム み よ う ば ん の よ う な 酸素酸塩が用 い ら れ る 。 こ れ ら は 単独で使用 し て も よ く 、 2 種以上組み 合わ せて使用 し て も よ い 。 凝集共肥大 ィ匕処理時 の p H は 7 以上 に す る の が好 ま し く 、 p H 7 未 満で は 凝集共肥大化が起 こ り に く い 。 肥大化速度を あ げ る た め に は 、 p H は 9 以上 に 調整 す る の が 好 ま し い 。 P H 調整 に は水酸ィ匕ナ ト リ ウ ム 、 水酸化 カ リ ウ ム 、 炭酸 ナ ト リ ゥ ム 、 炭酸水素ナ ト リ ゥ ム な どの 化合物の 1 種 ま た は 2 種以上を適量加え て や れば よ い。
凝集共肥大化処理に供せ ら れ る ラ テ ツ タ ス の 濃度 も 重 要 な 因子で あ る 。 ゴ ム 濃度を調整す る こ と で共肥大化 ゴ ム の粒子径を制御す る こ と が可能で あ る 。 共肥大化す る の に使用す る酸基含有共重合体ラ テ ツ ク ス の組成に よ り 、 得 ら れ る 共肥大化 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス の 粒子径分布 は異 な る が、 ゴ ム 濃度を低 く す る こ と で共肥大化 ゴ ム の 粒子径 は 小 さ く な る 傾向 に あ る 。
ま た 、 凝集共肥大化処理時 に乳化剤を添加 し 、 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス 粒子の表面被覆率を変化 さ せ、 得 ら れ る 共肥大 化 ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス の粒子径を変化 さ せ る こ と も 可能で あ る 。 す な わ ち 、 乳化剤 を添加 し て表面の 乳化剤被覆率を 高 く す る こ と で共肥大化 ゴ ム の粒子径を乳化剤無添加 の 場合 に 比べて小 さ く す る こ と がで き る 。
前記の プ ロ セ ス で得 ら れ た 共肥大ィヒ ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス に ビニ ル系単量体を グ ラ フ ト 重合 さ せ る こ と に よ り 、 本発 明 の グ ラ フ 卜 共重合体粒子が製造 さ れ る 。
前記 ビニル系単量体 は、 得 ら れ る グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒 子 と ブ レ ン ドす る 熱可塑性樹脂 と の 相溶性を高 め、 熱可 塑性樹脂 中 に グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子を均一分散 さ せ る た め に 使用 さ れ る も の で あ る 。
前記 グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子 は 、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス ( A ) 中 の シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 粒子 と 、 ア ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス お よ び ( ま た は ) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( B ) 中の ア ク リ ル系 ゴ ム 粒子 お よ び ( ま た は) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム 粒子 と が 凝集共肥大化 し た ゴ ム 粒 子 に ビ ニ ノレ 系単量体 が グ ラ フ 卜 し た 構造 の も の で あ り 、 そ の 平 均 粒 子径 と し て は 1 6 0 n m 以 上、 さ ら に は 2 0 0 n m 以 上 の も の が好 ま し く 、 ま た 1 3 0 0 n m以 下 、 さ ら に は 1 0 0 0 n m 以 下 の も の が 好 ま し い 。 平 均 粒 子 径 が 1 6 0 n m未 満 の 場 合 お よ び 1 3 0 0 n m を こ え る 場 合 は 、 い ず れ も 耐衝撃 性 が低下 す る 傾 向 に あ る 。 グ ラ フ 卜 共 重合体 の 溶剤不 溶 分 量 は 、 7 0 %以 上 が 好 ま し く 、 さ ら に は 8 0 % 以上 が 好 ま し い 。 溶 剤 不溶 分 量 が 7 0 % 未 満 の 場合 、 耐 衝撃 性 が 低下 す る 傾 向 に あ る 。

前記 ビ ニ ル 系単量体 は 、 共肥大 化 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( 固 形 分) 5 9 5 部 、 さ ら に は 1 0 9 0 部 と の 合計 量 が 1 0 0 部 に な る よ う に 9 5 5 部 、 さ ら に は 9 0 〜 : L 0 部 使用 す る の が好 ま し い 。 前 記 ビ ニ ル系 単量体 の 使 用 量 が 多 す ぎ る 場 合 に は 、 ゴ ム 成 分 の 含 有量 が 少 な く な り す ぎて充分 な 耐衝撃性が発現 さ れな く な る 傾向が生 じ 、 少 な す ぎ る 場合 に は、 熱可塑性樹脂 と 配合 し た と き に マ ト リ ッ ク ス 樹脂 で あ る 該熱可塑性樹脂 と の 相溶性がわ る く な り 、 や は り 耐衝撃性が低下す る 傾向が生 じ る 。
前記 グ ラ フ ト 重合 は 、 通常の乳化重合法を用 い る こ と に よ り 行な う こ と がで き 、 ラ ジ カ ル重合開始剤、 要す れ ば用 い ら れ る 連鎖移動剤、 さ ら に は要す れば添加 さ れ る 乳化剤 は、 前記ァ ク リ ル系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ま た は共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス で使用 さ れ得 る も の で よ く 、 使用 量の制限 も 同 じ 制限が適用 さ れ得 る 。
重合後の グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子 は ラ テ ッ ク ス か ら ポ リ マ ー を分離 し て使用 し て も よ く 、 ラ テ ッ ク ス の ま ま 使用 し て も よ い。 ポ リ マ ー を分離す る 方法 と し て は、 通常の 方法、 た と え ば ラ テ ッ ク ス に 塩化 カ ル シ ウ ム 、 塩化 マ グ ネ シ ゥ ム 、 硫酸マ グ ネ シ ウ ム な どの金属塩、 塩酸、 硫酸、 リ ン酸、 酢酸 な どの無機酸 お よ び有機酸を 添加す る こ と に よ り ラ テ ッ ク ス を凝固、 分離、 水洗、 脱水、 乾燥す る 方法があ げ ら れる 。 ま た、 ス プ レ ー乾燥法 も使用 で き る。
こ の よ う に し て得 ら れた グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子 ( ポ リ マ 一 を 分離 し た も の ま た は ラ テ ッ ク ス の ま ま の も の ) は、 各種の 熱可塑性樹脂 に配合 さ れ、 耐衝撃性が改善 さ れ た 熱可塑性樹脂組成物が得 ら れ る 。
前記熱可塑性樹脂の具体例 と して は、 ポ リ 塩化 ビニル、 ポ リ ス チ レ ン 、 ス チ レ ン 一 ア ク リ ロ ニ ト リ ル共重合体、 ス チ レ ン 一 ァ ク リ ロ 二 ト リ ノレ 一 N — フ ヱ ニ ル マ レ イ ミ ド 共重合体、 α — メ チ ル ス チ レ ン 一 ア ク リ ロ ニ ト リ ル共重 合体、 ポ リ メ タ ク リ ノレ 酸 メ チ ル 、 メ タ ク リ ノレ酸 メ チ ル ー ス チ レ ン 共重合体、 ポ リ カ ー ボ ネ ー ト 、 ポ リ ア ミ ド 、 ポ リ エ チ レ ン テ レ フ タ レ ー ト 、 ポ リ ブ チ レ ン テ レ フ タ レ 一 ト な ど の ポ リ エ ス テ ル樹脂、 A B S 樹脂、 A A S 樹脂、 A E S 樹脂、 ポ リ フ エ 二 レ ン エ ー テ ル 一 ポ リ ス チ レ ン 複 合樹脂 な どが あ げ ら れ る 。
熱可塑性樹脂 1 0 0 部 に対す る グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子 の 添加量 は 1 〜 1 5 0 部で あ り 、 好 ま し く は 5 〜 1 2 0 部が物性バ ラ ン ス の 点か ら 好 ま し い 。 前記添加量が少 な す ぎ る 場合 に は 、 熱可塑性樹脂の 耐衝撃性が充分向上せ ず、 多す ぎ る 場合 に は、 熱可塑性樹脂の 剛性や表面硬度 な どの特性を 維持す る こ と が難 し く な る 。
前記 ラ テ ツ ク ス か ら ポ リ マ ー が分離 さ れ た グ ラ フ ト 共 重合体粒子 と 熱可塑性樹脂 と の混合 は、 ヘ ン シ ェ ル ミ キ サ ー 、 リ ボ ン プ レ ン グ ー な どで混合 し た の ち 、 ロ ー ル、 押 出機、 ニ ー グ ー な どで熔融混練す る こ と に よ り 行 な う こ と がで き る 。
こ の と き 、 通常使用 さ れ る 配合剤、 た と え ば可塑剤、 安定剤、 滑剤、 紫外線吸収剤、 酸化防止剤、 難燃剤、 顔 料、 ガ ラ ス 繊維、 充填剤、 高分子加工助剤、 高分子滑剤 な どを配合す る こ と がで き る 。
前記熱可塑性樹脂が乳化重合法で製造 さ れる 場合に は、 該熱可塑性樹脂 の ラ テ ツ ク ス と グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子の ラ テ ッ ク ス と を い ずれ も ラ テ ッ ク ス の 状態で ブ レ ン ド し た の ち 、 共凝固 さ せ る こ と に よ り 熱可塑性樹脂組成物を 得 る こ と も 可能で あ る 。
得 ら れ た 熱可塑性樹脂組成物の 成形法 と し て は、 通常 の 熱可塑性樹脂組成物の成形 に用 い ら れ る 成形法、 た と え ば、 射 出 成形法、 押 出成形法、 ブ ロ ー 成形法、 カ レ ン ダ 一成形法 な ど を 適用 す る こ と がで き る 。 得 ら れ た成形品 は従来の耐衝撃性改質剤 を使用 し た も の に比べて、 耐衝撃性、 耐候性、 加工性、 熱変色性、 成 形外観 に す ぐ れた も の に な る 。
つ ぎに本発明を実施例 に も と づ き具体的に説明す る が、 本発明 は こ れ ら の み に 限定 さ れ る も の で は な い 。
な お 、 以下の実施例 お よ び比較例 に お け る 評価 は、 つ ぎの方法 に し たが っ て行 な っ た。

別途、 以下 の 成 分 か ら な る 混合物 を ホ モ ミ キ サ ー に よ り 1 0 0 0 0 r p mで 5 分 間撹拌 し て シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 原 料含有 エ マ ル ジ ョ ン を 調製 し た 。

製造例 1 に お い て 、 用 い る シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム 原 料 か ら T E O S を 除 き 、 かつ M P r D M S の かわ り に 7 — メ タ ク リ ロ イ ル ォ キ シ プ ロ ピ ノレ ジ メ ト キ シ メ チ ル シ ラ ン ( D S M A ) を用 い た ほ か は製造例 1 と 同様 に し て重合を 行な い、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( A — 2 ) を得 た。 得 ら れ た ラ テ ッ ク ス は 固形分 濃度 2 5 % 、 平均 粒子 径 8 5 n m、 ポ リ ス チ レ ン 換算重量平均分子量 は 2 5 万 で あ っ た。

実施例 1 9 お よ び比較例 1 4
実施例 1 9 と し て 、 実施例 1 で得 ら れ た 共肥大化 ゴ ム を は じ め 、 以下の 成分 を 用 い て共肥大化 ゴ ム 系 グ ラ フ 卜 共重合体粒子 ( X V I ) の 粉末を 製 造 し た 3 な お 、 重 合 温 度 は 6 0 °C で、 チ ッ 素気流下で追加成分を 3 時間 か け て 滴下 し 、 滴下終了 後、 さ ら に 1 時間撹拌 を 続 け て重合 を 終了 さ せ た。 ま た ラ テ ッ ク ス 力、 ら の粉末 の 回収 は 、 実施 例 1 1 と 同様 に し た 。 重合転化率 は 9 8 % で あ り 、 平均 粒子径 は 3 7 0 n m で あ っ た 。 初期仕込み成分

得 ら れ た グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子の 粉末 を 、 表 1 3 に 示 す 熱可塑性樹脂 1 0 0 部 に 対 し て表 1 3 に 示す割合で配 合 し 、 さ ら に フ エ ノ ー ル系安定剤 (旭電化工業 (株) 製、 A 0 - 2 0 ) 0 . 2 部 お よ び エ チ レ ン ビ ス ス テ ア リ ル ァ マ イ ド 0 . 5 部を 配合 し 、 単軸押 出機 ( 田 端機械 (株) 製、 H W - 4 0 - 2 8 ) で溶融混練 し 、 ペ レ ツ ト を 製造 し た。 こ の レ ツ ト を (株) フ ァ ナ ッ ク ( F A N U C ) 製 の F A S 1 0 0 B 射 出成形機を 用 い て シ リ ン ダ 一 温度 2 6 0 °C に設定 し て ア イ ゾ ッ ト 試験片を 作製 し た 。 ア イ ゾ ッ ト 衝撃強度の評価を行な っ た。 結果を表 1 3 に示す。 実施例 2 0〜 2 1 お よ び比較例 1 5〜 1 6 実施例 2 0〜 2 1 と し て 、 実施例 1 1で得 ら れた グ ラ フ ト 共重 合体 粒子 ( XI) の 粉 末 を 、 ま た 実 施例 2 0 〜 2 1 の そ れぞ れ に対す る 比較例 1 5〜 1 6 と し て 、 比較 例 9で得 ら れ た グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子 (观 ' ) の 粉末 を 用 い 、 実施例 1 9 と 同様 に し て ア イ ゾ ッ ト 試験片 を作製 し て、 ァ ィ ゾ ッ ト 衝撃強度の 評価 を 行 な っ た 。 結果 を 表 1 3 に 示す o

表 1 3 に 示 さ れ た 結果か ら 、 本発 明 の 共肥大化 ゴ ム 系 グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子 を エ ン ジ ニ ア リ ン グ熱可塑性樹脂 の 耐衝撃性改質剤 と し て用 い た場合 (実施例 1 9〜 2 1 ) 、 従来の 方法で得 ら れ た シ リ コ ー ン · ァ ク リ ル複合 ゴ ム 系 グ ラ フ ト 共 重 合体 粒 子 を 用 い た 場 合 ( 比 較 例 1 4 〜 1 6 ) と 比べて高 い 耐衝撃性改善効果が発現 さ れ る こ と がわ か る 。 産業上の 利用 の 可能性
本発明 に よ れば、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス と ァ ク リ ル系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス お よ び ( ま た は) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス と を凝集共肥大化 さ せ て得 ら れ る 共肥大化 ゴ ム を 用 い て熱可塑性樹脂の 改質剤 で あ る グ ラ フ ト 共重合 体粒子を 得 る こ と がで き る 。 該 グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子 と 熱可塑性樹脂 と か ら な る 熱可塑性樹脂組成物は耐衝撃性、 耐候性、 加工性、 熱変色性、 成形外観 に す ぐ れ た も の で あ る 。

Claims

請 求 の 範 囲 ( A ) シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス と ( B ) ア ク リ ル 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス お よ び ( ま た は) 共役 ジ ェ ン 系 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス と を 、 シ リ コ ー ン含有量が全 ゴ ム 成分 中 の 1 〜 9 0 重量% に な る よ う に混合 さ せ て得 ら れ た 混合 ラ テ ッ ク ス を 凝集共肥大化 さ せ る こ と に よ り 得 ら れ た 共肥大化 ゴ ム に ビ ニ ル系単量体が ダ ラ フ ト 重合 し て な る グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子。
共肥大ィヒ ゴ ム が、 混合 ラ テ ッ ク ス 1 0 0 重量部 (固 形 分 ) に 対 し て 、 不飽 和 酸 単量体 1 〜 3 0 重 量 % 、
( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル酸 エ ス テ ル単量体 3 5 〜 9 9 重量%、 お よ び こ れ ら と 共重合可能 な他の 単量体 0 〜 3 5 重量 % を共重合 さ せ て 調製 し た酸基含有共重合体 ラ テ ツ ク ス 0 . 1 〜 1 5 重量部 (固形分) を添加 し て凝集共肥 大 さ せ て 得 ら れ た も の で あ る 請求 の範囲第 1 項記載の グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子。
シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス ( A ) が 、 シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム ラ テ ツ ク ス お よ び シ リ コ ー ン ゴ ム と ァ ク リ ル系 ゴ ム と か ら な る 複合 ゴ ム ラ テ ッ ク ス の 少な く と も 1 種の ラ テ ッ ク ス で あ る 請求の 範囲第 1 項記載の グ ラ フ ト 共重 合体粒子。
ビニ ル系単量体が、 芳香族 ビ ニ ル単量体、 シ ア ン 化 ビニ ル単量体、 ハ ロ ゲ ン化 ビニ ル単量体、 ( メ タ ) ァ ク リ ル 酸 お よ び ( メ タ ) ア ク リ ル 酸 エ ス テ ル単量体 よ り な る 群 か ら 選 ば れた少 な く と も 1 種の 単量体で あ る 請求 の 範囲第 1 項、 第 2 項 ま た は 第 3 項記載の グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子。
5. 請求の 範囲第 1 項、 第 2 項、 第 3 項 ま た は第 4 項記 載の グ ラ フ ト 共重合体粒子 1 〜 1 5 0 重量部 と 熱可塑 性樹脂 1 0 0 重量部 と か ら な る 熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
6. 前記熱可塑性樹脂が、 ポ リ 塩化 ビニ ル、 ポ リ ス チ レ ン 、 ス チ レ ン 一 ア ク リ ロ ニ ト リ ル共重合体、 ス チ レ ン — ァ ク リ ロ ニ ト リ ル 一 N — フ エ ニ ル マ レ イ ミ ド共重合 体、 α — メ チ ル ス チ レ ン 一 ア ク リ ロ ニ ト リ ル共重合体、 ポ リ メ タ ク リ ル 酸 メ チ ル 、 メ タ ク リ ル 酸 メ チ ル ー ス チ レ ン 共重合体、 ポ リ カ ー ボ ネ ー ト 、 ポ リ ア ミ ド、 ポ リ エ ス テ ル 、 A B S 樹脂、 A A S 樹脂、 A E S 樹脂 お よ び ポ リ フ ヱ 二 レ ン エ ー テ ル 一 ポ リ ス チ レ ン 複合樹脂 よ り な る 群 か ら 選 ばれ た少 な く と も 1 種の 樹脂で あ る 請 求の 範囲第 5 項記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
