背景技術

一方、 環状突条に使用される弾性樹脂として、 ブタジエン— アク リ ロニ ト リル系ゴム、 スチレン一ブタジエン系ゴム、 ニ ト リル系ゴム、 天然ゴム、 エチレンプロピレン系ゴム、 クロロプ レン系ゴム、 フ ヅ素系ゴム、 シリ コン系ゴム又はこれらの混合 物を挙げるこ とができる。 具体的には、 ブタジエンゴム、 スチ レ ン一ブタ ジエンゴム、 ク ロ ロプレ ンゴム、 ブタ ジエン一ァク リ ロ二 ト リルゴム (二 ト リルブタジエンゴム) などのジェン系 エラス トマ一、 イ ソブチレ ン一イ ソプレ ン共重合体、 エチレ ン 一プト ピレン共重合体、 クロルスルホン化ポリエチレン、 塩素 化ポリエチレンなどの非ジェン系エラス トマ一、 スチレンとブ 夕ジェン又はィ ソプレンとのブロ ック共重合体などの熱可塑性 系エラス トマ一、 天然ゴムなどが挙げられる。 これらのエラス トマ一は、 加流されていてもよ く、 かつまたアク リル酸、 メタ ク リル酸、 ソルビン酸などによ りカルボキシル基を導入されて もよい。
以上のごとき硬質熱可塑性樹脂及び弾性樹脂をパイ プ本体と 環状突起の材料と して組み合わせるこ とによって、 両者を熱可 塑的に一体接合できる。 これらの材料の更なる具体例及び組み 合わせの条件などの詳細については、 特開昭 6 2 - 2 1 2 4 4 号、 特開平 1 一 1 4 9 8 5 4号、 特開平 2 — 1 5 0 4 3 9号、 特開平 3 — 1 3 3 6 3 1号、 特開平 3 — 1 3 8 1 4 4号、 特公 平 5 — 3 0 1 8 2号、 特開平 7— 1 1 0 1 3号及び特公平 8— 1 8 4 1 2号の各々が参照される。
この発明において、 環状突条について 「シール性」 とは、 被 接続管との押圧接触によって密封 (シール) できるこ とを意味 し、 上述の弾性樹脂の使用によ り、 その物理的性質によって得 られる性質である。
この発明に係る硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プは、 以上のごとき 材料及び組み合わせによって、 次のような製造方法で製造でき る。
すなわち、 この発明に係る硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プは、 パ ィ プ本体を成形するパイ プ本体成型工程と、 パイ プ本体の内面 に環状突条を形設する環状突条成型工程とを同時に又は順に経 て製造される。
パイ プ本体成型工程では、 複数に分割できる 1組の金型に よって形成される管状のキヤビティ (空隙) 内に硬質熱可塑性 樹脂の溶融材料を注入してパイ ブ本体を成型する。
次に、 環状突条成型工程では、 前記金型自体又は他の金型を 組み合わせて前記パイ プ本体の内面に沿って形成される環状の キヤビィティ 内に弾性樹脂の溶融材料を注入して前記パイ プ本 体の内面に環状突条を成型する。
一方、 この環状突条をパイ プ本体と同時に成型する場合には- 分割できる金型によって形成される、 パイ プ状部分と、 このパ イ ブ状部分の内面に沿う環状部分とからなるキヤビティ に、 そ のパイ プ状部分には硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料を、 キヤビ ティ の環状部分には弾性樹脂の溶融材料を注入し、 同時に一体 成型し、 パイ プ本体の内面に環状突条を有する硬質熱可塑性樹 脂製パイ プを得るこ とよ りなる硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの製 造方法を得るこ とができる。
なお、 金型の内型に注入口を形成すればパイ プ本体の内面に 沿う環状のキヤビティへ溶融状態の弾性樹脂を注入できるが、 予めパイ プ本体の胴部に通孔を形成し (スライ ドビンを用い て) 、 その通孔を使って溶融状態の弾性樹脂を環状のキヤビ ティへ注入する と便利である。
以上のごと く、 パイ プ本体成型工程と環状突条成型工程とに よ り、 硬質熱可塑樹脂製パイ プ本体の内面に沿いシール性を有 し弾性樹脂からなる環状突条が、 熱可塑的に一体に結合した状 態で成型される。
得られた硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プは、 シール性を有する環 状突条に他の管を密接させる と空気などの気体や液体を通過さ せないシール効果を得るこ とができ、 別途 0 リ ングなどの装着 操作が省略できるので管の接続に便利であ り、 特に外部の大気 に対し、 内部に空気を含む高圧ガス、 水、 油などを通るパイ ブ 継ぎ手に好適である。
パイ プ継ぎ手の形状と しては、 パイ プの基本断面を円形、 楕 円形、 正方形などとする直管のほかに L字状のもの (エルボ) - T字状のもの (ティ ) 、 U字状のもの (ユー) などに適用でき る。
また、 これらのパイ プ継ぎ手と被接続パイ プとの接続構造、 つま りパイ プ継ぎ手構造は、 具体的には硬質熱可塑性樹脂から なるパイ プ本体と、 このパイ プ本体の内面に沿って一体に成型 され、 シール性を有し弾性樹脂からなる環状突条と、 前記パイ プ本体の開口部に軸方向移動可能に保持された開放リ ングと、 この開放リ ングを介して挿入される被接続パイ プの胴面を押圧 して被接続パイ プと前記環状突条との密接状態を保持し、 前記 開放リ ングが内側へ軸方向移動操作される と変形してその押圧 を解除し被接続パイ プの挿 ' 脱を可能にするロ ックパネとから なるパイ プ継ぎ手構造が挙げられる。 なお、 これらの継ぎ手構 造は、 実施の形態と して挙げる単なる軸方向の押し込みだけで はなく、 ねじ込み (螺合) でもよい。
また、 環状突起の断面形状は、 成型金型との関係、 被接続パ イ ブとの接触関係、 シール度の要求程度などによって自然状態 で適宜四角形、 台形、 三角形、 半円形、 U字形、 V字形などに 成型できる。
この発明は、 具体的にパイ プ継ぎ手構造と しては、 パイ プ本 体と、 このパイ プ本体の少なく とも一方開口に螺着される袋 ナッ ト とからなり、 パイ プ本体又は袋ナッ トの内周面に被接続 管及び/又はパィ プ本体をシールするための弾性樹脂製環状 シール部を一体に形成したパイ プ継ぎ手構造を提供できる。
ここで環状シール部の材料と しての弾性樹脂と、 その環状 シール部を一体に形成するパイ プ本体又は袋ナッ トの対象部分 の材料と しての硬質熱可塑性樹脂製樹脂の具体例は、 先の硬質 熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの場合と同様であるので説明を省略する , この発明は、 別の観点によれば、 パイ プ本体と、 このパイ プ 本体の一方開口よ り嵌入されるコネクタ とからな り、 このコネ クタが、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂又は金属で形成され、 かつその嵌入 部位の外周面に抜け止め凸部を備え、 パイ プ本体が、 硬質熱可 塑性樹脂製本体部と、 この本体部とは別体に成型され前記本体 部に同軸に突き合わされて一体に連結された硬質熱可塑性樹脂 製嵌入口パイ プ部と、 前記本体部の内周面に一体に形成され、 コネクタを介して挿入される被接続管又はコネクタをシールす る弾性樹脂製環状シール部とからなり、 前記本体部と嵌入ロパ ィプ部との突き合わせ部分の内周面に、 コネクタの前記抜け止 め凸部を係合又は係止する凹溝を形成したパイプ継ぎ手構造を 提供する。
すなわち、 この発明は、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製本体部の内周面 に弾性樹脂製環状シール部を一体に形成すると共に、 本体部と 嵌入口パイプ部とを同軸に突き合わせ、 その突き合わせ部の内 周面に凹溝を形成するよう一体に連結することを構成上の特徴 の 1つとする。 特に本体部と環状シール部とを、 特定の硬質熱 可塑性樹脂と弾性樹脂との組み合わせで一体に形成し、 かつパ イブ本体を凹溝を通る面で分割して (本体部と嵌入口パイプ 部) 予め成型した後に一体に連結することによって、 安価で高 シール性のパイプ継ぎ手構造とすることができる。
この発明において、 本体部と嵌入口パイプ部とは、 予め別体 に成型された後、 一体に連結されるが、 具体的には両部の突き 合わせ部分の外周面部に硬質熱可塑性樹脂製リ ング状連結部 (材) を一体に成型、 又は巻着するか、 両部の突き合わせ部分 を溶着、 又は接着するか、 これらを組み合わせて一体に連結さ れる。
この発明において、 コネクタに使用される硬質熱可塑性樹脂 及び金属は、 特に限定されないが、 上述のパイプ本体の硬質熱 可塑性樹脂及び真鍮がそれそれ好ましいものとして挙げられる この発明において、 コネクタの抜け止め凸部が凹溝に係合又 は係止するとは、 抜け止め凸部が凹溝にピッ夕 リ嵌ま り込むか 強引に押し込まれるか、 緩く入り込んで凹溝の壁で止まるこ と を意味する。
この発明は、 別の観点によれば、 パイ プ本体及びコネクタを それそれ成型し、 その成型されたパイ プ本体に成型されたコネ クタを嵌入してパイ プ継ぎ手構造を得るパイ プ継ぎ手構造の製 造方法であって、 パイ プ本体を成型する工程が、
( 1 ) 分割できる金型によつて形成されるパイ ブ状のキヤビ ティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料を注入して本体部を成型 する本体部成型工程と、
( 2 ) 前記金型のうち内金型の一部を移動して本体部の内周面 に形成される小さいキヤビティ 内に弾性樹脂の溶融材料を注入 して本体部の内周面に弾性樹脂製環状シール部を一体に形成す るシール部形成工程と、
( 3 ) 分割できる他の金型によつて形成されるパイ プ状のキャ ビティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料を注入して嵌入口パイ プ部を成型する嵌入口パイ プ部成型工程と、
( 4 ) 成型した嵌入口パイ プ部及び本体部を同軸に突き合わせ て配置し、 その突き合わせ部分の外周面部に更に他の金型に よって形成されるキヤビティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料 を注入して リ ング状連結部を成型し本体部と嵌入口パイ プ部と を一体に連結してパイ プ本体を形成するパイ プ本体形成工程と からなるパイ プ継ぎ手構造の製造方法を提供する。
この発明は、 更に別の観点によれば、 未加硫ゴムを リ ング状 と し硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの内周面に密接させながら加硫 するこ とによ り、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの内周面にリ ング 状ゴム層を一体に形成し、 シール構造を内蔵したパイプ継ぎ手 を得るこ とよ りなるパイ プ継ぎ手の製造方法を提供する。
すなわち、 この発明は、 未加硫のリ ング状ゴムを硬質熱可塑 性樹脂製パイ ブの内周面に密接させながら加硫するこ とによつ て、 ゴムが未加硫であれば加温するこ とで粘性のある流体とす るこ とができるので、 未加硫ゴムを、 その大きい変形性と形状 保持性を利用してパイ プの内表面の形状に対応して密着変形さ せた上で加硫するこ とができる。 そのため、 加硫ゴムをパイ プ の内周面に弾性変形ではなく 自由状態で密着させることができ、 大きなシール効果を得ることができると共に、 パイ プのゥエル ドライ ンを原因とする流体の漏れが発生しない、 高い信頼性を 備えるパイ プ継ぎ手の提供を可能にするものである。 また、 従 来はそれそれ別体の部品であつた硬質熱可塑性樹脂製のパィ ブ とシール用 リ ング状ゴムとを予め (パイ プ継ぎ手と して使用す る前に) 一体に成形するので、 上述のシール用リ ング状ゴムや 環状ガスケッ トのねじれ、 又はかみ込みによる組立性や作業性 の悪化の問題を排除できる。
さて、 この発明に係るパイ プ継ぎ手の製造方法において、 製 造対象の "パイ プ継ぎ手" とは、 2又はそれ以上のパイ プ (被 接続パイ プ) を接続するための継ぎ手を意味し、 そのパイ プ継 ぎ手がシール構造を内蔵したとは各被接続パイ プをシール状態 (密着状態) で接続するための構造を内部に備えているこ とを 意味する。 そ してパイ プ継ぎ手の本体としてパイ プ又はパイ プ本体 (以 下、 パイ プ本体と称する) が用いられるが、 そのパイ プ本体の 材料と しては、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂が挙げられ、 具体的には、 ポ リ フ エ二レ ンエーテル系樹脂、 ポリアミ ド系樹脂、 ポリエステ ル系樹脂、 ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂又は A S系樹脂が好ま しいもの と して挙げられる。
一方、 これらの硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プ本体の内周面に シール用のリ ング状ゴム層を一体形成するために、 未加硫の天 然ゴム又は合成ゴムが用いられ、 具体的には天然ゴム、 ブ夕ジ ェンーアク リ ロニ ト リル系ゴム、 スチレン ' ブタジエン系ゴム、 二 ト リ ル系ゴム、 エチレ ンプロ ピレ ン系ゴム、 ク ロ 口プレ ン系 ゴム、 フ ッ素系ゴム、 シリ コン系ゴム又はこれらの混合物から なるゴムが好適に用いられる。
そして上記の硬質熱可塑性樹脂製のパイ プ本体の内周面に上 記のリ ング状未加硫ゴムを密接状態に配置し、 その後、 熱を加 えるこ とによ り リ ング状未加硫ゴムを加硫し、 それによつて シール性を有する リ ング状ゴム層をパイ プ本体の内周面に一体 に形成する。 ここで、 パイ プ本体と リ ング状ゴム層とを接着剤 などを用いるこ となく一体に形成するために、 特定の硬質熱可 塑性樹脂からなるパイ プ本体と特定材質のリ ング状未加硫ゴム とを用いるこ とが好ま し く、 その組み合わせと しては次の組み 合わせを挙げるこ とができる。
( 1 ) ポリ フ エ二レンエーテル系樹脂とスチレ ン · ブタ ジエン 系ゴム (以下、 S B R系ゴムと称する) 、 天然ゴム (以下、 N Rゴムと称する) 、 エチレンプロピレン系ゴム (以下、 E P系 ゴムと称する) 、 又は二 ト リル系ゴム (以下、 N B R系ゴムと 称する) からなる未加硫ゴムとの組み合わせ。
( 2 ) ポリアミ ド系樹脂と、 N B R系ゴム、 E P系ゴム、 シ リ コン系ゴム、 又はフ ッ素系ゴムからなる未加硫ゴムとの組み合 わせ。
( 3 ) ポリエステル系樹脂と、 E P系ゴム又はシリ コン系ゴム からなる未加硫ゴムとの組み合わせ。
( 4 ) A S系樹脂と、 N B R系ゴムからなる未加硫ゴムとの組 み合わせ。
( 5 ) その他、 上記のポリ フエ二レンェ一テル系樹脂、 ポリア ミ ド系樹脂、 ポリエステル系樹脂、 又は A S系樹脂と、 上記の S B R系ゴム、 N B R系ゴム、 E P系ゴム、 N Rゴム、 シリコ ン系ゴム及びフ ヅソ系ゴムなどの混合物からなる未加硫ゴムと の組み合わせ。
上記の組み合わせは、 パイ プ継ぎ手の用途に応じて最適な組 み合わせが選択される。 また、 未加硫ゴムには予め軟化剤と し てパラフ ィ ン又はナフテン系オイル、 補強剤と してカーボンブ ラ ック、 ホワイ ト力一ボン (シリ カ) 、 活性剤と してステアリ ン酸、 加硫促進剤と して亜鉛華、 N —シクロへキシルー 2、 B D M A , T A I C、 加硫剤と して硫黄、 表面処理硫黄、 有機過 酸化物、 酸化マグネシウム、 ポリアミ ンなどが配合され、 その 配合は用途に応じて適宜変更、 選択される。
また、 未加硫のゴム素材は、 予めリ ング状に形成されるが、 そのリ ング状に成形する方法と しては、 未加硫のゴム素材を薄 板状に成形し、 この板状未加硫ゴムをリ ング状に 打ち抜く方 法や、 中空のチューブ状に押し出した後に輪切り にする方法や、 細いス トラン ド状に押し出したものを一定長に切断後に円形に 卷いて成形する方法などが挙げられる。
このようにして成形されたリ ング状未加硫ゴムは、 文字どお り未加硫であるために、 柔軟な粘土状とするこ とができ、 きわ めて大きな変形性を有し、 この大きな変形性がパイ ブ本体の内 周面の形状に対応して密着させるこ とができる。 しかし、 この 大きな変形性の故に逆に形状保持性が低く なるこ とがあ り、 そ の場合には、 リ ング状未加硫ゴムの形状を保ったまま、 加硫 (加熱) 時までパイ プ本体内周面の所定の位置に密接させてお く ための補助的方法が必要となる。
この方法と しては、 パイ プ本体内周面のリ ング状ゴム層形成 箇所にリ ング状未加硫ゴムを配置した後に、 リ ング状未加硫ゴ ムの内径に略等しいか若干大きい直径を有する金属製円柱体又 は円筒体を挿入し、 その円周面でリ ング状未加硫ゴムを押圧し てパイ プ本体の内周面に密接させておく方法や、 パイ プ本体内 側のリ ング状ゴム層形成箇所に環状の段部を形成しておき、 そ の段部に リ ング状未加硫ゴムを配置し、 その後リ ング状未加硫 ゴムの外径と略等しいか若干小さい直径を有する金属製円柱体 又は円筒体をパイ プ本体の開口部から挿入し、 その端部でリ ン グ状未加硫ゴムを押圧してパイ プ本体の内周面に密接させる方 法、 更には、 パイ プ本体内周面のリ ング状ゴム層形成箇所にあ らかじめ環状の溝を形成しておき、 この環状溝に リ ング状未加 硫ゴムを配置した後に、 このリ ング状未加硫ゴムの内径と略等 しいか若干大きい直径を有する金属製円柱体又は円筒体を挿入 し、 その円周面で リ ング状未加硫ゴムを押圧してパイ プ本体の 環状の溝に密接させておく方法などが挙げられる。
また、 パイ プ本体の内周面に環状の溝を形成し、 更にその溝 の底面よ りパイ プ本体の外表面に通ずる孔を複数略等角度間隔 に形成し、 リ ング状未加硫ゴムを前記の溝に配置した後に、 パ イ ブ外表面の孔よ り吸引を行い、 リ ング状未加硫ゴムをパイ プ 本体の内周面に密接させる方法や、 耐熱ゴム風船をパイ プ本体 の内部で膨らませ、 その風船の押圧力で リ ング状未加硫ゴムを パイ プ本体の内周面に密接させておく方法などが挙げられる。 次に、 以上のようにしてパイ プ本体の内周面の所定位置に配 置、 密接させたリ ング状未加硫ゴムを加硫する方法と しては、 パイ プ本体の内周面に リ ング状未加硫ゴムを密接させておく た めに挿入された金属製 (例えばアルミニウムも しく は銅製) の 円柱体も し く は円筒体を所定温度に加熱するこ とによ り 円柱体 も しく は円筒体を介して リ ング状未加硫ゴムに熱を伝えて加熱 する方法、 未加硫ゴムのリ ング内に金属製の円柱体も し くは円 筒体が挿入されたパイ プ本体ごと所定温度の高温槽で加熱する 方法、 又は金属製も しく は合成樹脂製の円柱体も しく は円筒体 を未加硫ゴムのリ ング内に挿入してパイ プ本体の内周面に未加 硫ゴムを密接させた後、 円柱体も し く は円筒体を抜き取ってか ら残る未加硫ゴムとパイ プ本体とを高温槽で加熱する方法など が挙げられる。
これらの方法による未加硫ゴムの加熱により、 あらかじめ未 加硫ゴムに練り込まれていた添加剤、 加硫剤、 加硫促進剤、 及 び加硫促進助剤などがゴムと反応し、 シール性を備える リ ング 状ゴム層として適した性質を備えると共に、 本体の内周面に密 着固定し、 本体と一体化したリ ング状ゴム層が形成される。

発明を実施するための最良の形態
以下、 図に示す実施の形態に基づいてこの発明を詳述する。 なお、 これによつてこの発明が限定されるものではない。
実施の形態 1
図 1 はこの発明に係る硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイプの 1つのシ ンプルな実施の形態としてパイプ継手を示す断面図、 図 2はそ のパイプ継手の製造方法の前工程を説明する説明図、 図 3はパ イブ継手の製造方法の後工程を示す図 2相当図である。 図 1〜 3 において、 パイ プ継手 1 は、 パイ プ本体 2 とこのパ イ ブ本体の内面に沿って一体に形設されたシール性を有する環 状突条 3 とからなる。 そしてパイ プ本体 2はポリ プチレンテレ フタ レー ト (以下単に P B T と称す) から、 環状突条 3はニ ト リルブタジエンゴム (以下単に N B Rと称す) からそれそれな り、 パイ プ本体 2 と環状突条 3 とは熱可塑的に一体に結合され ている。 なお、 4は製造時の N B Rの注入跡である。
以上の構成からなるパイ プ継手 1 は、 被接続パイ プ (ゴム ホース) Pを嵌入するこ とによって被接続パイ プ Pの外周面が シール性を有する環状突条 3 によ り弾性的に押圧を受け、 それ によって被接続パイ プ P との間の良好な密封効果 (例えばパイ プ内部の高圧ガスを外部の大気に対し密封する) が得られる。 また被接続パイ プとの接続時又は継手本体の組立時にかみ込み (ねじれ) が発生して流体のもれが起こった り、 装着に伴う作 業性の悪さを改善できる。
次に以上の構成を備えたパイ プ継手 1 の製造方法を説明する , 1 ) パイ プ本体成型工程
まず図 2 において、 複数に分割可能な金型 1 1 によって略パ イ ブ (管) 状のキヤビティ 1 2 を形成する。 金型 1 1 は略円形 パイ プ (円管) 状の外上部 1 3 と、 同じ く外下部 1 4 と、 これ らの外上 · 下部 1 3 , 1 4の内側に位置する略円柱状の内上部 1 5 と、 同じく 内下部 1 6 と、 外上 . 下部 1 3, 1 4の境界部 を突き抜けキヤビティ 1 2 を横切るスライ ドビン 1 7 とからな る。 なお 1 8は樹脂注入口である。 外上部 1 3 と外下部 1 4は 長手方向中心軸に沿って分割でき、 内上部 1 5 と内下部 1 6 と は上下に分割できる。
さて溶融状態の P B T (約 2 4 5 °C) を樹脂注入口 1 8から キヤビティ 1 2に注入する。
注入した樹脂が固まつた状態で内上部 1 5及び内下部 1 6を 抜き、 更にスライ ドビン 1 7を抜いてゲート 1 9 を形成する。 なお、 このゲート 1 9は直管をまず成型し、 次いで成型された 直管に別途ド リルで形成してもよい。
2 ) 環状突条成型工程
次に図 3において、 内側に別の金型 : 内上部 2 0 と内下部 2
1 とを入れ、 ゲート 1 9から溶融状態の N B R (約 2 4 0 °C) を注入する。
注入した樹脂が固まつたところで、 内 · 外側の全金型 1 3、 1 4、 2 0、 2 1 を外し、 樹脂注入口 1 8 とゲート 1 9に注入 されて固まった樹脂部分を取り除いて図 1のパイプ継手 1 を得 る。 得られたパイプ継手 1は、 そのパイプ本体 2 と環状突条 3 とが化学的に (熱可塑的に) 及び機械的に一体に結合され、 被 接続パイプを上述のごとく嵌入によって接続できる。
以上の実施の形態とは異なり、 パイプ継手の環状突条を 2箇 所に設けることもできる。
図 4はこの発明に係る硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイプの他の実施 の形態としてパイプ継手を示す断面図である。
図 4においてパイプ継手 (継手構造) 4 3は、 パイプ本体 2 2 と、 2つの袋ナヅ ト 2 3 · 2 4 とからなる。
- 11 - パイ プ本体 2 2は、 2つの接続口部 2 5 · 2 6 と、 直管部 2 7 と、 両接続口部 2 5 · 2 6の内面にそれそれ一体に形設され たシール性を有する環状突条 2 8 . 2 9 とからなり、 これらの 環状突条は自由状態では断面が略台形状で N B Rからなり、 図 4の環状突条 2 8で言えば、 主として被接続パイプ 3 0 との圧 接によ り密封効果をもたらす。 なお、 袋ナッ ト 2 3は主として 環状突条 2 8を圧縮し、 被接続パイプ 3 0に環状突条 2 8を密 着させる。 環状突条 2 9及び袋ナツ ト 2 4 も同様の効果を奏す る。 通常、 袋ナッ ト 2 3 · 2 4はパイプ本体 2 2に予め螺着さ れ、 しかる後被接続パイプ 3 0 · 3 1が挿着される (例えば被 接続パイプ 3 1 について言えば、 矢印方向に挿入される) 。
以上のごと く、 パイプ本体 2 2 と環状突条 2 8 · 2 9 とを一 体成型することにより、 シ一ル材 (環状突条 2 8 · 2 9 ) のか み込み (ねじれ) の発生や流体のもれを防止できると共に、 装 着に伴う作業性の悪さを改善できる。
以上の実施の形態とは異なり、 パイプ継手を L字継手とする こともできる。
図 5は他の実施の形態を示す図 4相当図である。
図 5において L字継手 3 2は、 L字状のパイプ本体 3 3 と、 2つの袋ナッ ト 3 4 · 3 5 とからなる。
パイプ本体 3 3は、 2つの接続口部 3 6 · 3 7 と、 屈曲部 3 8 と、 2つの接続口部 3 6 · 3 7の内面に一体に形設された シール性を有する環状突条 3 9 · 4 0 とからなり、 これらの環 状突条は自由状態では断面が略台形状で N B Rからなり主とし て被接続パイプ 4 1 · 4 2 との圧接により密封効果をもたらす ( その他の構成及び効果は図 4の場合と同様であり、 説明を省略 する。
以上のごと く、 この実施の形態 1 によれば、 パイプ本体又は ナッ ト部と、 環状突条とをそれぞれ特定の合成樹脂の組み合せ で、 同時又は時間をずらせて型成形することによりパイプ本体 又はナツ ト部の内面という特殊な位置に環状突条を一体成型す ることができ、 それによつてシール材のかみ込み (ねじれ) の 発生や流体のもれを防止できるようにすると共に、 装着に伴う 作業性の悪さを改善できる。
以上の実施の形態とは異なり、 環状突条をナッ トの内面に一 体に形設することもできる。
図 6は他の実施の形態を示す図 4相当図である。
図 6において、 ノ ィプ継ぎ手 7 3は、 ノ ィプ本体 5 2 と、 2つ のシールナッ ト 5 3 · 5 4 とからなる。
シ一ルナヅ ト 5 4は、 P B Tからなるナッ ト部 5 4 aと、 こ の内面に一体に形設されたシール性を有する環状突条 5 9 とか らなり、 この環状突条は、 図 6で点線矢印方向に別に図示する ように、 自由状態では断面が略台形状で N B Rからなり、 パイ プ本体 5 2及び被接続パイプ 6 1 との圧接により密封効果をも たらす。 シールナッ ト 5 3 も同様の効果を奏する。 通常、 シー ルナヅ ト 5 3 . 5 4はパイプ本体 5 2に予め螺着され、 しかる 後、 被接続パイプ 6 0 · 6 1が揷着される (例えば、 被接続パ イブ 6 1 について言えば、 矢印方向に挿入される) 。 なお、 5 5 · 5 6はパイ プ本体 2 2の接続口部、 5 8はシールナヅ ト 5 3の環状突条である。
ここで、 シールナッ ト 5 3 · 5 4の製造方法と しては、 例え ば、 まず型によ りナッ ト部 5 4 aを成形し、 しかる後型の一部 をスライ ドさせて形成したキヤビティ に溶融状態 (未加硫状 態) の N B Rを注入して加硫させながらシール材を一体に密着 させる。
以上のごと く、 ナッ ト部 5 4 aと環状突条 5 9 とを直接 (接 着剤などの第 3成分を介在させるこ となく ) 一体成型するこ と によ り、 シール材 (環状突条 5 8 . 5 9 ) の位置が固定される ため、 かみ込み (ねじれ) の発生や流体のもれを防止できる と 共に、 装着に伴う作業性の悪さを改善できる。
実施の形態 2
図 7はこの発明に係るパイ プ継ぎ手構造の 1 つの実施の形態 を示す断面図、 図 8は図 7の固定パネの正面図である。
図 7 において、 パイ プ継ぎ手構造と しての圧空継ぎ手 7 6は、 パイ プ本体 7 7 と、 このパイ プ本体の一方開口よ り嵌入された 開放リ ング 7 8 とから主と してなる。 なお、 8 0は被接続管で ある。
パイ プ本体 7 7は、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂としてのポリ プチレ ン テレフタ レー トで形成され、 略 L字状に屈曲した本体部 8 1 と. この本体部の一方開口に同軸に突き合わせて配置されたポリ ブ チレンテレフ夕 レー トで形成された嵌入口パイ プ部 8 2 と、 こ の嵌入口パイ プ部と本体部 8 1 の突き合わせ部分に一体に成型 され、 それによつて両部を一体に連結するポリ ブチレンテレフ 夕 レー トで形成されたリ ング状連結部 8 3 と、 本体部 8 1 の一 方開口側の内周面に一体に形成され、 弾性樹脂と してブ夕ジェ ン一ァク リ ロニ ト リルゴムを用いた環状シール部 8 4 と、 この 環状シール部よ り開口寄り (本体部の一方開口側) に隣接して 図 2のステンレス製固定バネ 8 6及びその硬質熱可塑性樹脂製 押さえ リ ング 8 7 とを備えている。
なお、 7 9は他方開口側の外周面に形成されたネジ部であ り - 機器 (例えば高圧空気供給源、 図示省略) に適宜気密に螺着さ れる。
9 8は嵌入口パイ プ部 8 2 と本体部 8 1 の突き合わせ部分に 形成された凹溝である。
開放リ ング 7 8は、 先端外周部分に環状抜け止め凸部 8 8 を 備える と共に後端外周部分に外向きフランジ部 8 9 を備え、 開 放リ ング 7 8 をパイ プ本体 7 7 に嵌入されるに際して外向きフ ランジ部 8 9 に当たるまで押し込まれ、 固定パネ 8 6 に押し戻 されて凹溝 8 5 に係止する。
かく して図 7 において、 圧空継ぎ手 7 6 に被接続管 8 0 を開 放リ ング 7 8 を介して挿入すると、 被接続管 8 0は、 固定パネ 8 6及び環状シール部を押し広げて係止する (嵌入される) 。 つま り被接続管 8 0は、 固定パネ 8 6 によって抜けないよう に押圧係止 (逆止) され、 環状シール部 8 4 との弾性接触に よってシール状態に (気密に) 接続される。
なお 9 0は、 被接続管 8 0 を圧空継ぎ手 7 6 に嵌入する とき の嵌入深さを決める当た り部である。 そして被接続管 8 0を引 き出すときには、 開放リ ング 7 8を被接続管 8 0の挿入方向に 若干押し込むこ とによって固定パネ 8 6 を押し広げ被接続管 8 0の押圧係止を解除する。
圧空継ぎ手 7 6は、 以上の構成よ りなるので、 別途 0 リ ング を使用する必要がなく、 従ってコス ト削減を可能にすると共に、 高いシール性を確保でき、 安価な高圧空気 (例えば 1 5 K g f / c m 2 ) パイ プの継ぎ手とするこ とができる。
次に、 図 9〜 1 1 は圧空継ぎ手の製造方法をそれぞれ順を 追って説明する要部概略説明図である。
図 9〜 1 1 において、 圧空継ぎ手 7 6の主要部であるパイプ 本体 7 7の成型工程は、
( 1 ) 複数に分割できる一組の金型 〔その一部の金型 ; 中央 金型 (コア一ピン) 9 1、 スライ ド金型 9 2〕 によってパイプ 状のキヤビティ (図示省略) を形成し、 そのキヤビティ 内に硬 質熱可塑性樹脂 (ポリ ブチレンテレフ夕 レー ト) の溶融材料 (約 2 4 5 °C ) を注入して本体部 6 を成型する本体部成型工程 [なお 9 3はスライ ドピン (図示省略) によって成形された後 述の溶融材料の注入孔 (ゲー ト) である ] と、
( 2 ) 前記一組の金型のうち内金型の一部 (スライ ド金型 1 7 ) をスライ ド移動して本体部 8 1 の内周面に小さいキヤビ ティ 9 4 を形成し、 その小さいキヤビティ 内に注入孔 9 3 を介 して弾性樹脂 (ブタジエン一アク リ ロニ ト リルゴム) の溶融材 料 (約 2 4 0 °C ) を注入し、 本体部 8 1 の内周面に環状シール 部 8 4 を一体に形成するシール部形成工程と、
( 3 ) 複数に分割できるもう一組の金型 (図示省略) によつ てパイ プ状のキヤビティ (図示省略) を形成し、 そのキヤビ ティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂 (ポリ ブチレンテレ フ夕 レー ト) の 溶融材料 (約 2 4 5 °C ) を注入して嵌入口パイ プ部 8 2 を成型 する加入口パイ プ部成型工程と、
( 4 ) 成型した嵌入口パイ プ部 8 2及び本体部 8 1 を同軸に 突き合わせて配置し、 その突き合わせ部分の外周面部に更にも う一組金型 (外側金型 9 5、 なお中央金型 9 1 は環状シール部 8 4 を押し広げてスライ ド金型 9 2 と共に取り除く ) によって キヤ ビティ 9 7 を形成し、 そのキヤビティ 内に注入孔 9 6 を介 して硬質熱可塑性樹脂 (ポリ ブチレンテレ フ夕 レー ト) の溶融 材料 (約 2 4 5 °C ) を注入してリ ング状連結部 8 3 を成型し本 体部 8 1 と嵌入口パイ プ部 8 2 とを一体に連結した (溶融材料 の温度によ り、 本体部 8 1 と嵌入口パイ プ部 8 2 とを溶着す る) パイ プ本体 7 7 を形成するパイ プ本体形成工程と
からなる。
なお、 開放リ ング 7 8は、 複数に分割できる一組の金型 (図 示省略) によってパイ プ状のキヤビティ (図示省略) を形成し そのキヤビティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂 (ポロブチレンテレフ夕 レー ト) の溶融材料 (約 2 4 5 °C ) を注入して成型される。 ま た、 ( 2 ) のスライ ド金型 9 2 を移動させる方法は、 ダイ · ス ライ ド . イ ンジェクショ ン ( D S I ) と称し、 特公平 2 - 3 8 3 7 7号公報に詳しい。 この実施の形態 2によれば、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製本体部の内 周面に弾性樹脂製環状シール部を一体に形成すると共に、 本体 部と嵌入口パイプ部とを同軸に突き合わせ、 その突き合わせ部 の内周面に凹溝を形成するよう一体に連結し、 特に本体部と環 状シール部とを、 特定の硬質熱可塑性樹脂と弾性樹脂との組み 合わせで一体に形成し、 かつパイプ本体を凹溝を通る面で分割 し (本体部と嵌入口パイプ部) 予め成型し、 しかる後に一体に 連結することによって、 安価で高シール性のパイプ継ぎ手構造 とすることができる。
実施の形態 3
図 1 2はこの発明の製造方法によ り製造されたパイプ継ぎ手 のシンプルな実施の形態の断面図である。
図 1 2において、 パイプ継ぎ手 1 0 1は、 熱可塑性樹脂製パ ィプ本体 1 0 2 と、 このパイプ本体の内周面の略中央に一体に 密着固定されたリ ング状ゴム層 1 0 4 とからなる。 ここで、 パ イブ本体 1 0 2 とリ ング状ゴム層 4に使用される材質は、 相互 に固着性の高い成形物となるように、 主な熱可塑性樹脂とゴム の各組成物として以下に示す表 1の実施例 1 〜 4の組み合わせ のものを使用した。 また、 図 1 3は図 1 1 2のパイプ継ぎ手の 製造時の状態を示す断面図である。 表 1 . 各部に使用される材質

表 1 に示された実施例 1 4の素材を用いて、 それ それ射出成型機によ り熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プ本体 1 0 2 (外 径 : 2 3 mm, 内径 1 7 匪) を製造した。 また、 リ ング状ゴム層 1 0 4を形成するための素材と しては表 1の実施例 1〜 4に示 された配合で、 それぞれ混練のために軟化剤と してパラフィ ン 油、 活性剤と してステアリ ン酸、 加硫促進剤と して亜鉛華、 N —シクロへキシルー 2、 加硫剤と して硫黄、 表面処理硫黄 〔但 し XNB R (酸変性 NB R) には可塑剤と してグリ コール誘導 体、 加硫促進剤と して B D M A又は T A I C、 加硫剤と して有 機過酸化物を使用〕 などを加えてロールでよ く混練したものを 板状に成形し、 この板状未加硫ゴムから リ ング状の未加硫ゴム 片 (外径 : 約 1 6 mm, 横断面 : 約 I mmx約 1 mm) を打ち 抜いた。
このようにして打ち抜かれたリ ング状未加硫ゴムを表 1の実 施例 1〜 4の組み合わせで熱可塑性樹脂製パィ プ本体 1 0 2の 内周面 1 0 3にそれそれ挿入し、 図 1 3に示すようにパイ プ本 体 1 0 2の内周面 1 0 3に リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5がしつか り密接するように リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5の内径と略等しい か若干大きい直径を有するアルミ二ゥム製円柱体 1 0 6を リ ン グ状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5のリ ング内に挿入し、 それによつて未加 硫ゴム 1 0 5をパイ プ本体 1 0 2の内周面 1 0 3に押しつけ、 この状態で、 1 7 0°Cの高温槽で 5分間加熱しゴムを加硫させ た。 この加硫時に リ ング状ゴム 1 0 5が熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プ 本体 1 0 2の内周面 1 0 3に密着固定され、 パイ プ本体 1 0 2 の内周面 1 0 3にリ ング状ゴム層 1 0 4がー体に形成された。 冷却後、 アルミニウム製円柱体 1 0 6を取り外し、 リ ング状 ゴム層 1 0 4と熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プ本体 1 0 2 との接着状況 をしらべたところ、 実施例 1 〜 4の組み合わせ全てにおいてゴ ム成分が凝集破壊するまで リ ング状ゴム層 1 0 4 とパイ プ本体 1 0 2がー体に固着しているこ とが確認できた。
なお、 この加硫に際して、 図 1 3 に示されるアルミニウム製 円柱体 1 0 6 を取り外し、 その後にパイ プ本体 1 0 2の内周面 1 0 3 に密接状態のリ ング状ゴム 1 0 5 を高温槽で加熱しても よい。
図 1 4は本発明の製造方法の他の実施の形態によ り製造され たパイ プ継ぎ手の断面図である。 図 1 5は図 1 4のパイプ継ぎ 手の製造時の状態を示す断面図である。
本実施の形態においては、 図 1 5 においてパイ プ本体 1 0 8 の内周面 1 0 9 に予め環状の段部 1 1 0が形成されている。 そ してこの段部 1 1 0に突き当たるようにリ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5が揷入され、 更に前記リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5の外径と 略等しい直径を有するアルミニウム製円柱体 1 1 1 が挿入され る。 このようにしてアルミニウム製円柱体 1 1 1 の端部によ り 押圧された リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5は自由に変形しパイ プ本 体 1 0 8の段部 1 1 0及び内周面 1 0 9 に密接する。
なお、 図 1 6 に示すように前記段部 1 1 0の代わ り にパイ プ 本体 1 1 3の内周面 1 1 4 に環状の溝 1 1 5 を形成し、 この環 状溝 1 1 5 に リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 を配置したのちに前記 リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5の内径と略等しい直径を有するアル ミニゥム製円筒体 1 1 6 を挿入し、 リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 をパイ プ本体 1 1 3の内周面 1 1 4及び環状溝 1 1 5 に密接す
- 2 1 - るようにしてもよい。 また、 このアルミニウム製円筒体 1 1 6 の代わ り に図 1 3 に示すようなアルミニウム製円柱体 1 0 6 を 用いてもよい。
上記表 1 の実施例 1 〜 4の組み合わせでそれそれセッ トされ た図 1 5の状態のパイ プ本体 1 0 8 と リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 に対し、 アルミニウム製円柱体 1 1 1 の他端部に任意の温度 に設定できる熱源体 (図示省略) を接続し、 リ ング状未加硫ゴ ム 1 0 5 を 1 8 0 °Cにして 3分間加熱した。
冷却後、 アルミニウム製円柱体 1 1 1 を取り外したところ、 図 1 2の実施の形態のパイ プ継ぎ手 1 と同様に上記表 1 の実施 例 1 〜 4の全ての組み合わせにおいて、 ゴムが凝集破壊するま でリ ング状ゴム層 1 0 4 と本体 1 0 8が一体に固着しているこ とが確認できた。
以上に説明した製造方法は様々な形態のパイ プ継ぎ手の製造 に適用可能となる。
図 1 7 は本発明の製造方法によ り製造される、 具体的なパイ プ継ぎ手の製造時の状態を示す図である。 図 1 8は図 1 7のパ ィ プ継ぎ手の実際の使用の状態を示す図である。
まず、 図 1 7 においてパイ プ本体 1 8の両端の内周面 1 1 9 には予め環状の段部 1 2 0が形成され、 雄ねじ 1 2 1 がパイ プ 本体 1 1 8の両端部の外周面に形成されている。 このように形 成されたパイ プ本体 1 1 8の段部 1 2 0 に突き当たるように未 加硫のリ ング状ゴム 1 0 5 * 1 0 5がそれそれ配置され、 更に 前記リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 · 1 0 5の内径と略等しいか若 干大きい直径を有し、 リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 · 1 0 5の内 周面の傾斜に適合するように、 その円周側面の一部にテーパが つけられたアルミニウム製円筒体 1 2 2がリ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 · 1 0 5のリ ング内にそれそれ挿入され、 それによつて リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 · 1 0 5はパイ プ本体 1 1 8の内周 面 1 1 9及び段部 1 2 0に押しつけられ定着する。 その後、 パ ィ プ本体 1 1 8と リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 · 1 0 5に対して アルミニウム製円筒体 1 2 2の他端部に上記の実施例と同様に 熱源体 (図示せず) を接続し、 熱良導体であるアルミニウム製 円筒体 1 2 2を介して リ ング状未加硫ゴム 1 0 5 · 1 0 5を 1 6 0 °Cに して 7分間加熱した。
冷却後、 アルミニウム製円筒体 1 2 2を取り外したところ図 1 8に示すようにパイ ブ本体 1 1 8に加硫されたリ ング状ゴム 層 1 0 4 . 1 0 4がー体に密着して形成され、 上記表 1の実施 例 1〜 4の全ての組み合わせにおいて、 上記の実施例と同様に リ ング状ゴム層 1 0 4 · 1 0 4が凝集破壊するまでパイ プ本体 1 1 8と一体に固着しているこ とが確認できた。
以上のように製造された図 1 8に示すパイ プ継ぎ手 1 1 7の 両端部からゴム製耐圧ホース 1 2 3をその円周側面 1 2 4がリ ング状ゴム層 1 0 4 · 1 0 4に達するまでそれそれ揷入し、 ホースの抜け止めの袋状フランジ 1 2 5 · 1 2 6をパイ プ本体 1 1 8の両端部にねじ込み、 ゴム製耐圧ホース 1 2 3を確実に 固定した。 その後、 5 k g/c m2 の高圧空気をホース内に通 したところ上記表 1の実施例 1〜 4の組み合わせで製造された 全てのパイ プ継ぎ手 1 1 7 において空気の漏れは発生せず、 高 いシール性を確認するこ とができた。
また、 本発明の製造方法は、 図 1 9 に示される L字型パイ プ 継ぎ手 (エルボ) 1 2 7 にも適用するこ とができる。 この L字 型パィ プ継ぎ手 1 2 7はパィ プ本体 1 2 8がその長手方向の略 中央で 9 0度に屈曲しているが、 その他の構成、 使用素材及び 製造方法は図 1 7及び図 1 8 に示される実施の形態で製造され たパイ プ継ぎ手 1 1 7 と同じである。
なお、 1 2 9、 1 3 0は加硫によ りパイ プ本体 1 2 8に一体 に密着して形成されたリ ング状ゴム層、 1 3 1、 1 3 2は袋状 フランジである。
このように、 本発明の製造方法は様々な形態のパイ プ継ぎ手 に適用するこ とが可能である。
以上のごと く、 実施の形態 3 によれば、 未加硫のリ ング状ゴ ムを熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの内周面に密接させながら加硫する こ とによって、 未加硫ゴムを、 その大きい変形性を利用してパ ィ プ本体の内表面の形状に対応して密着変形させた上で加硫す るこ とができ、 それによつて加硫ゴムをパイ プ本体の内周面に 弾性変形ではなく 自由状態で密着させるこ とができ、 大きな シール効果を得るこ とが出来る。 この作用効果は、 パイ プ本体 のウエル ドライ ンを原因とする流体の漏れが発生しない、 高い 信頼性を備えるパイ プ継ぎ手の提供を可能にするものである。 また、 従来はそれぞれ別体の部品であつた熱可塑性樹脂製のパ イ ブ本体とシール用リ ング状ゴムとを予め (パイ プ継ぎ手と し て使用する前に) 一体に成形するので、 上述のシール用リ ング 状ゴムや環状ガスケッ トのねじれ、 又はかみ込みによる組立性 や作業性の悪化の問題を排除できる。

Claims

1 . 弾性樹脂からなるシール性を有する環状突起を、 内面に熱 可塑的に一体成型した硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プ。
2 . パイ プが継ぎ手構造である請求項 1 のパイ プ。
3 . 硬質熱可塑性樹脂がポリ ブチレンテレフタ レー ト、 又はポ リ フエ二レンォキサイ ドと耐衝撃性ポリスチレンとの混合物で あ り、 弾性樹脂がブタジエンーァク リ ロニ ト リル系ゴムである 請求項 1 又は 2のパイプ。
4 . 分割できる金型によつて形成されるパイ プ状のキヤビティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料を注入してパイ プ本体を成型 するパイ プ本体成型工程と、
前記金型自体又は他の金型を組合わせて前記パイ プ本体の内 面に沿って形成される環状のキヤビティ 内に弾性樹脂の溶融材 料を注入して前記パイ プ本体の内面に環状突条を一体に成型す る環状突起条成型工程とからなるパイ プ本体の内面に環状突条 を有する硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの製造方法。
5 . 分割できる金型によって形成される、 パイ プ状部分と、 こ のパイ プ状部分の内面に沿う環状部分とからなるキヤビティ に そのパイ プ状部分には硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料を、 キヤビ ティ の環状部分には、 弾性樹脂の溶融材料を注入し、 同時に一 体成型し、 パイ プ本体の内面に環状突条を有する硬質熱可塑性 樹脂製パイ プを得るこ とよ りなる硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの 製造方法。
6 . パイ プ本体成型工程で金型に、 その金型によって形成され るパイ プ状のキヤビティ を突き抜けるスライ ドビンを装着し、 前記キヤ ビティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料を注入してパ イ ブ本体を成型し、 次いで環状突条成型工程で先に成型された パイ プ本体のスライ ドビンの抜き孔を介して環状のキヤビティ 内に弾性樹脂の溶融材料を注入してパイ プ本体の内面に環状突 条を一体に成型する請求項 4の硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの製 造方法。
7 . 硬質熱可塑性樹脂がポリ ブチレンテレフタ レ一 ト、 又はポ リ フヱニレンォキサイ ド と耐衝撃性ポリスチレンとの混合物で あ り、 弾性樹脂がブタジエン一アク リ ロニ ト リル系ゴムである 請求項 4〜 6のいずれか 1つの製造方法。
8 . パイ プ本体と、 このパイ プ本体の少なく とも一方開口に螺 着される袋ナッ ト とからな り、
パイ プ本体が、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製本体部と、 この本体部の 内周面に一体に形成され、 袋ナツ トを介して挿入される被接続 管及び/又は袋ナツ トをシールする弾性樹脂製環状シール部と からなるパイ プ継ぎ手構造。
9 . パイ プ本体と、 このパイ プ本体の少なく とも一方開口に螺 着される袋ナッ ト とからな り、
この袋ナツ トが、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製ナツ ト部と、 このナツ ト部の内周面又は内側開口端面に一体に形成され、 被接続管及 び/又はパイ プ本体をシールする弾性樹脂製環状シール部とか らなるパイ プ継ぎ手構造。
1 0 . パイ プ本体又は袋ナッ トの硬質熱可塑性樹脂がポリ プチ レンテレフ夕 レー ト、 又はポリ フエ二レンォキサイ ドと耐衝撃 性ポリスチレンとの混合物であ り、 環状シール部の弾性樹脂が ブタジエン一ァク リ ロニ ト リル系ゴムである請求項 8又は 9の パイ プ継ぎ手構造。
1 1 . パイ プ本体と、 このパイ プ本体の一方開口よ り嵌入され る開放リ ングとからな り、
この開放リ ングが、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂又は金属で形成され、 かつその嵌入部位の外周面に抜け止め凸部を備え、
パイ プ本体が、 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製本体部と、 この本体部と は別体に成型され前記本体部に同軸に突き合わされて一体に連 結された硬質熱可塑性樹脂製嵌入口パイ プ部と、 前記本体部の 内周面に一体に形成され、 開放リ ングを介して挿入される被接 続管及び/又は開放リ ングをシールする弾性樹脂製環状シール 部とからな り、
前記本体部と嵌入口パイ プ部との突き合わせ部分の内周面に、 開放リ ングの前記抜け止め凸部を係合又は係止する凹溝を形成 したパイ プ継ぎ手構造。
1 2 . 本体部と嵌入口パイ プ部とは、 それらの突き合わせ部分 の外周面に硬質熱可塑性樹脂製リ ング状連結部を一体に成型、 又は巻着するこ とによって、 一体に連結されてなる請求項 1 1 のパイ プ継ぎ手構造。
1 3 . 本体部が、 弾性樹脂製環状シール部を形成するために外 部から溶融樹脂を注入する注入孔を有し、 かっこの注入孔が溶 融樹脂注入後リ ング状連結部によって閉塞されてなる請求項 1
1 のパイ プ継ぎ手構造。
1 4 . 本体部、 嵌入口パイ プ部及びリ ング状連結部の硬質熱可 塑性樹脂が、 いずれもポリ ブチレンテレフ夕 レー ト、 又はポリ フエ二レンォキサイ ド と耐衝撃性ポリスチレンとの混合物であ り、 環状シール部の弾性樹脂がブタジェン一アク リ ロニ ト リル 系ゴムである請求項 1 1 〜 1 3のいずれか 1 つのパイ プ継ぎ手 構造。
1 5 . 本体部が、 その内周面に、 開放リ ングを介して挿入され る被接続管を押圧係止でき、 開放リ ングの押し込み操作による 変形によ りその押圧係止を解除可能な固定パネを更に備えてな る請求項 1 1 のパイ プ継ぎ手構造。
1 6 . パイ プ本体及び開放リ ングをそれぞれ成型し、 その成型 されたパイ プ本体に成型された開放リ ングを嵌入してパイ プ継 ぎ手構造を得るパイ プ継ぎ手構造の製造方法であって、 パイプ 本体を成型する工程が、
( 1 ) 分割できる金型によって形成されるパイ プ状のキヤビ ティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料を注入して本体部を成型 する本体部成型工程と、
( 2 ) 前記金型のうち内金型の一部を移動して本体部の内周面 に形成される小さいキヤビティ 内に弾性樹脂の溶融材料を注入 して本体部の内周面に弾性樹脂製環状シール部を一体に形成す るシール部形成工程と、
( 3 ) 分割できる他の金型によって形成されるパイ プ状のキヤ ビティ 内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料を注入して嵌入口パイ プ部を成型する嵌入口パイ プ部成型工程と、
( 4 ) 成型した嵌入口パイ プ部及び本体部を同軸に突き合わせ て配置し、 その突き合わせ部分の外周面部に更に他の金型に よって形成されるキヤビティ内に硬質熱可塑性樹脂の溶融材料 を注入して リ ング状連結部を成型し本体部と嵌入口パイ プ部と を一体に連結したパイ プ本体を形成するパイ プ本体形成工程と からなるパイ プ継ぎ手構造の製造方法。
1 7 . 未加硫ゴムをリ ング状と し硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの 内周面に密接させながら加硫するこ とによ り、 硬質熱可塑性樹 脂製パイ プの内周面に リ ング状ゴム層を一体に形成し、 シール 構造を内蔵したパイ プ継ぎ手構造を得るこ とよ りなるパイ プ継 ぎ手構造の製造方法。
1 8 . 予め板状と した未加硫の板状ゴムを打ち抜く ことによ り 未加硫ゴムを リ ング状とする請求項 1 7のパイ プ継ぎ手の製造 方法。
1 9 . リ ング状の未加硫ゴムを、 その未加硫ゴムのリ ング内に 円柱体又は円筒体を挿入するこ とによ り硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パ イ ブの内周面に押圧して密接させる請求項 1 7のパイ プ継ぎ手 の製造方法。
2 0 . 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの内周面に予めリ ング状の段 部を形成し、 その段部にリ ング状の未加硫ゴムを円柱体又は円 筒体の端部で押圧するこ とによ り、 リ ング状の未加硫ゴムを硬 質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プの内周面に密接させる請求項 1 7のパ ィ プ継ぎ手の製造方法。
2 1 . 円柱体又は円筒体を加熱するこ とによ り リ ング状の未加 硫ゴムを加硫する請求項 1 9又は 2 0のパイ プ継ぎ手の製造方 法。
2 2 . 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プ及びリ ング状の未加硫ゴムを 高温槽内で加熱するこ とによ り リ ング状の未加硫ゴムを加硫す る請求項 1 7又は 1 8のパイ プ継ぎ手の製造方法。
2 3 . 硬質熱可塑性樹脂製パイ プ、 リ ング状の未加硫ゴム、 並 びに円柱体若し く は円筒体を高温槽内で加熱するこ とによ り リ ング状の未加硫ゴムを加硫する請求項 1 9又は 2 0のパイ プ継 ぎ手の製造方法。
2 4 . 硬質熱可塑性樹脂が、 ポリ フヱニレンエーテル系樹脂で あ り、 ゴムが、 ブタジエン一アク リ ロニ ト リル系ゴムである請 求項 1 7のパイ プ継ぎ手の製造方法。
