Definitions

  • the invention relates to an injection-molded body with two decks and an externally closed edge such as plastic pallets, formwork panels and the like according to the preamble of claim 1 and an apparatus and a method for its production.
  • a plastic pallet which has an upper deck with feet integrally molded on the underside and runners attached to the feet. Pins are formed on the top of the runners, which are inserted into openings of hollow cylinders formed on the underside of the feet of the upper deck and are held therein without additional fastening means, so that the upper deck of the pallet is connected to the pallet runners.
  • a plastic pallet with upper deck and lower deck is known, the upper deck having a plurality of hollow cylinders arranged in a certain grid of a certain height and the lower deck having an equal number of hollow cylinders of the same height arranged in mirror image, the diameter of the Hollow cylinders of the two deck walls are at least partially sized differently, the hollow cylinders of the lower deck being positively and frictionally mounted in those of the upper deck.
  • AT-PS 331704 describes a multi-part plastic pallet consisting of an upper deck and a lower deck, the upper deck being provided with hollow feet which are placed on bases arranged in the lower deck and, if appropriate, are firmly connected to the lower deck by welding.
  • a pressed plastic pallet with a smooth or closed top floor of the upper deck and with ribbing on the underside of the upper deck is known, with spacer bases welded in, which are intended to provide corresponding spaces for the forks of a forklift truck or pallet truck to engage.
  • the dimensional stability, the strength and the resulting durability of the above-mentioned, known multi-part plastic pallets is not optimal.
  • the pallet parts of some known plastic pallets are welded together in a horizontal plane.
  • Other multi-part plastic pallets are welded together in one plane perpendicular to the load-bearing surface of the pallet.
  • weld seams have the defect that they become brittle after some time, so that the pallet becomes unusable more quickly than pallets without weld seams.
  • Another serious disadvantage is that the production of pallets of this type, composed of several parts and welded together, means a significant manufacturing outlay.
  • a plastic pallet which has a plug-in connection for the upper deck and the lower deck, which is formed in the area of the pallet feet and which has a high pull-out strength, good connection rigidity against twisting with respect to the vertical to achieve a good torque transmission from the upper deck to the lower deck or to the runners of the pallets and good connection rigidity against horizontal twisting is achieved.
  • the multi-part design of the foot section / Foot attachment connection increases the contact surfaces of the assembled parts, whereby the forces holding these parts together are increased as a result of increased frictional engagement. This two-part plastic pallet has proven itself in use.
  • DE-PS 15 56 151 discloses a one-piece plastic pallet produced by means of a mold in a single operation.
  • This skid-free pallet has an upper deck and a lower deck of the same design, with ribs and recesses in the upper deck and lower deck being offset in relation to one another in such a way that the ribs of the upper deck are over the same length and width as the ribs Recesses of the lower deck and the ribs of the lower deck lie below the cutouts of the upper deck that are as long and wide as these, and wherein the upper deck-lower deck spacers are designed as perpendicular webs running at right angles to the ribs.
  • This known plastic pallet is not very resilient, in particular the ribs projecting inwards from the upper deck and lower deck can be easily damaged by the intervention of the fork of a forklift, so that the load-bearing capacity of the pallet is impaired.
  • a one-piece pallet in particular made from recycled plastic, is known from EP 0 572 946 B1, which comprises a plate-shaped ges supporting deck and a standing cover element lying in a plane parallel and spaced apart from the level of the supporting deck, column-shaped feet extending from underside corner regions of the supporting deck to the sand covering element, which are braced with one another in the standing deck level by skid bars.
  • the plate of the support deck overhangs the outline of the stand cover element formed by the edge feet and the edge runner webs with a narrow edge and a support deck hole is formed vertically above each runner web in the support deck, which has the same circumferential contour as the runner web and in which the feet, the Skid bars and the supporting deck are designed as hollow bodies which are open at the bottom. Because the feet, the runner webs and the supporting deck of this known plastic pallet are designed as hollow bodies which are open at the bottom, the shape of the pallet can be represented by relatively few such hollow bodies, these hollow bodies each covering a considerable surface area.
  • a disadvantage of this known pallet is that the skid bars are narrower than the pallet feet due to the shaping process and therefore have a lower stability.
  • the object of the invention is to create a one-piece molded plastic body with two decks, which has a very high stability and low tendency to contamination.
  • the object is achieved with a device with the features of claim 13 and with a method with the features of claim 34.
  • the one-piece molded plastic body with two decks in particular the one-piece plastic pallet, has an upper deck which is ribbed into the edge areas, but the upper deck is closed laterally all the way around to the outside. Furthermore, in the peripheral areas there are no openings from the upper deck to the lower deck for shaping skid bars, so that the upper deck has optimum stability in the peripheral areas. Furthermore, the runner webs, which connect the feet of the pallet to one another in the area of a footprint, are pulled outwards and at least connect the outer feet to one another over essentially their full width, so that optimum stability is achieved.
  • the plastic pallet above the insertion openings for the forks of a forklift truck on the upper deck protrudes lips or webs and below the insertion openings slightly recessed runners against the outer edge, so that such stacked pallets easily interlock and prevent lateral slipping are secured.
  • the device according to the invention provides for the runners and the ribbing, which is closed to the outside, to be shaped with a so-called slide in slide technology, which is known per se from injection molding technology, lateral slides being inserted into the closed shape and then be raised. After shaping, these slides are lowered and extended again so that undercuts or undercuts - in this case the closed outer wall of the upper deck above the runners - can be created and the shaped body can still be completely shaped.
  • slide in slide technology which is known per se from injection molding technology
  • the - usually - used central injection point is used in the case of particularly complex and complicated molded part geometries and that several injection points are used.
  • the molded plastic body according to the invention in particular a formwork panel or pallet, it is advantageous that a shaped body is created which has an essentially smooth upper deck without sensitive side edge regions and continuous skid bars across the entire width of the feet, so that optimum stability is achieved. Furthermore, the molded body is formed with a circumferential, smooth outer side surface, so that contamination by clogging the rib passages with dirt or the like or pests is prevented.
