しかし、 このトレッドパターンは、 2本の隣接する傾 J斗主溝 3と周方向主溝 2 とにより区画されたブロック Bの形状が、 踏込み側端部 Qで極端に細幅になるた め、 タイヤ幅方向に対する曲げ剛性が低下し、 その結果、 乾燥路面での操縦安定 性が低下するという問題があつた。 この操縦安定性低下を防止する対策として、 プロックを大型にすると、 その大型化した分だけ傾斜主溝の溝面積が小さくなる ため、耐ハイドロプレーニング性の低下を招いた。
また、湿潤路で制動した時には、傾斜主溝から周方向主溝側へ水が流入するた め、 制動性能が低下するという問題があった。 しかし、 その対策として、傾斜主 溝の傾斜方向を反対にすると、前進時に傾斜主溝の水が周方向主溝に流れ込むよ うになるため、 排水性能が低下して耐ハイドロプレーニング性が低下するという 問題を生ずる。 発明の開示
本発明の目的は、 耐ハイドロプレーニング性を低下させることなく、 ゥヱット 制動性能と操縦安定性を向上させるようにした空気入りタイヤを提供することに ある。
上記目的を達成する本発明の空気入りタイヤは、 トレッドセンター域に少なく とも 1本の周方向主溝を設け、 該周方向主溝の両外側に、 それぞれタイヤの指定 回転方向と逆方向の斜め外側へ傾斜した傾斜主溝と、該傾斜主溝の傾斜方向とは 逆方向の斜め外側へ傾斜する逆傾斜主溝とをタイヤ周方向に交互に配置し、前記 傾斜主溝はその内端をタイヤセンターから接地幅の 1 0〜2 0 %の領域で前記逆 傾斜主溝の途中に連結させると共に、 その外端をショルダーまで延長させ、前記 逆傾斜主溝はその内端を前記周方向主溝に連結すると共に、 その外端を前記傾斜 主溝の途中に連結するようにしたことを特徴とするものである。
上記のようにトレッドセンター域に設けた少なくとも 1本の周方向主溝の両外 側に、 傾斜主溝と逆傾斜主溝とをタイヤ周方向に交互に配置し、 かつこれら 3種 類の主溝を特定の連結関係にしたため、 トレツドセンター域で周方向主溝と傾斜 主溝と逆傾斜主溝とで区画されたプロックの踏込み側端部を太めに形状すること ができる。 したがって、 夕ィャ幅方向に対するプロックの曲げ剛性が向上し、 操 縦安定性を向上させることができる。
また、 タイヤが湿潤路で制動する時には、 傾斜主溝からトレツドセンター側へ 流れ込もうとする水を、逆傾斜主溝がトレッド幅方向の外側へ押し戻すように作 用するため、制動性能を向上する。 また、 逆傾斜主溝は、前進時には、 この逆傾 斜主溝内を流れる水を傾斜主溝と周方向主溝とに分流するため、 耐ハイドロプレ 一ユング性の向上に寄与する。 図面の簡単な説明

傾斜主溝 3は、 内端をトレッドセン夕一域で逆傾斜主溝 4の途中に連結し、 夕 ィャの指定回転方向 Rに対して逆方向に傾斜してショルダーに延長し、 さらにシ ョルダ一端部を外側に抜けている。 これに対して逆傾斜主溝 4は、傾斜主溝 3と はタイヤ周方向に対して逆方向に傾斜している。 この逆傾斜主溝 4は、 内端を周 方向主溝 に連結してトレッド外側方向に延長すると共に、 途中で傾斜主溝 3の 内端を連結させて、更にこの傾斜主溝 3の隣りに隣接する傾斜主溝 3の途中に連 結している。
上記トレッドパターンにおいて、 傾斜主溝 3の内端は、 タイヤセンター Cしか ら接地幅 Wの 1 0〜2 0 %の距離 Dを離れた位置に配置されている。 ここで、 傾 斜主溝 3の内端の位置とは、 その溝幅の中心の位置によって決められる。 また、 トレツド面 1の接地幅 Wは、 J ATMA規定の標準空気をタイヤに充填し、標準 荷重を負荷した状態で平らな路面に接地したときの接地形状を測定したタィャ幅 方向長さで定義される。
上述したように、本発明の空気入りタイヤでは、 タイヤ周方向に対して互いに 反対方向に傾斜する傾斜主溝 3と逆傾斜主溝 4とをタイヤ周方向に交互に配置し、 その溝端を相互の溝の途中に連結するように配置したため、 隣接する 2本の逆傾 斜主溝 4と周方向主溝 2と傾斜主溝 3とにより区画形成されたブ口ック B Lは、 その踏込み側の端部 Pに形成される傾斜主溝 3と逆傾斜主溝 4との挟み角を比較 的大きくすることができる。 そのため、踏込み側端部 Pの幅方向に対する曲げ剛 性が高くなり、 コーナリング走行時などでの操縦安定性を向上する。
また、湿潤路で制動するときは、逆傾斜主溝 4が水の一部を夕ィャ幅方向外側 へ向けて排出するため、 トレッドセンター側への水の集中を防止することで、 ゥ ヱット制動性能を向上する。

逆傾斜主溝 4がタイヤ周方向に対してなす傾斜角度は 1 0 ° 〜4 0 ° にするこ とが好ましい。 傾斜角度が 1 0 ° より小さいと、水の移動速度の周方向成分が大 きいため、 湿潤路における制動時に水をタイヤ幅方向外側に排出し難くなる。 ま た、 周方向主溝 2と傾斜主溝 3と逆傾斜主溝 4とにより区画されたブロックのタ ィャ幅方向の曲げ剛性が低下するため操縦安定性が低下する。 傾斜角度が 4 0 ° より大きいと、 タイヤ周方向成分が小さくなるため、湿潤路面における制動時に 水をタイヤ幅方向外側へ排出し難くなり、 制動性能を低下する。

上述したように本発明によれば、 周方向主溝と傾斜主溝と逆傾斜主溝とにより 区画されるブロックの踏込み側端部を太めにし、 そのタイヤ幅方向の曲げ剛性を 向上するため操縦安定性を向上する。 湿潤路の制動時には、 傾斜主溝からセンタ 一域に流動しょうとする水を逆傾斜主溝によりタイヤ幅方向外側へ押し戻すため、 ゥエツト制動性を向上することができる。 また、 逆傾斜主溝は、前進時には水を 傾斜主溝と周方向主溝とに分流するため、 耐ハイドロプレーニング性を実質的に 阻害することはない。 実施例
タイヤサイズを 2 2 5 / 5 0 R 1 6 9 2 Vで互いに同一にし、 トレツドパ夕 ーンだけを異ならせ、 図 1において補助溝のみ省略したトレツドパターンを有す る空気入りタイヤ (実施例) と、 図 2のトレッドパターンを有する空気入りタイ ャ (比較例) とを製作した。 周方向主溝、 傾斜主溝、 逆傾斜主溝の溝幅、溝深さ、 配列ピッチは両タイヤにおいて同一とした。
上記 2種類の空気入りタイャをそれぞれ試験車に装着し、後述の測定方法によ り、耐ハイドロプレーニング性、湿潤路面における制動性 (ゥエツト制動性) 及 ぴ乾燥路面における操縦安定性をそれぞれ測定した。 その結果を表 1に示す。
〔耐ハイドロプレーニング性〕
水膜 1 O mmの湿潤路を走行し、 走行速度を除々に上昇させていくとき、 最初 にハイドロプレーニングが発生したときの速度を測定した。 評 ^5は、 比較例の夕 ィャの測定値を 1 0 0とする指数で表示した。 指数値が大きいほど耐ハイドロプ レーニング性が優れていることを示す。

4 . 前記逆傾斜主溝のタイヤ周方向に対する角度を 1 0 ° 〜4 0 ° にした請 求項 3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
5 . 互いに隣接する 2本の前記傾斜主溝と 1本の前記逆傾斜主溝とに区画さ れたブ口ックに、前記傾斜主溝と略平行な少なくとも 1本の補助溝を設けた請求 項 1又は 2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
6 . 互いに隣接する 2本の前記傾斜主溝と 1本の前記逆傾斜主溝とに区画さ れたブ口ックに、前記傾斜主溝と略平行な少なくとも 1本の補助溝を設けた請求 項 3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
7 . 互いに隣接する 2本の前記傾斜主溝と 1本の前記逆傾斜主溝とに区画さ れたブ口ックに、前記傾斜主溝と略平行な少なくとも 1本の補助溝を設けた請求 項 4に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
