熱可塑性樹脂組成物およびその成形体
技術分野
[0001] 本発明は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物およびその成形体に関する。より詳しくは、透明性
、結晶化速度および耐熱性を向上させた乳酸系樹脂組成物および該組成物からな る成形体に関する。
背景技術
[0002] 地球環境問題への意識が高まる中、熱可塑性樹脂は熱硬化性樹脂と比べてリサイ クルがし易ぐその用途は年々広がりを見せている。
[0003] 一方で、化石原料や石油資源の枯渴、二酸化炭素の増大が問題視されているた め、脂肪族ポリエステルなどの生分解性樹脂や植物を原料として合成する樹脂の研 究開発も活発に行われており、脂肪族ポリエステルの中でも特に、優れた成形性を 有するポリ乳酸は、とうもろこし等の穀物資源から発酵により得られる乳酸を原料とす る、植物由来の樹脂として注目されている。
[0004] 一般に熱可塑性樹脂は、加熱や加圧により成形が容易であるという利点がある一 方、ガラス転移点 (Tg)以上では軟化してしまうことから、耐熱性に難がある。これを解 決する手段として、ガラスファイバー、カーボンファイバー、タルク、シリカ等の副資材 による補強も行われるが、結晶性を有する樹脂においては結晶化を促進することによ り、耐熱性の大幅な向上を図ることが可能である。
[0005] しかしながら、ポリ乳酸は、結晶化速度が遅ぐ耐熱性が低いため、用途展開に限 界があった。特に、ポリ乳酸非晶成形体の場合、軟化温度が 60°C未満であるため、 日常の使用環境下におレ、て白化や変形等を生じやす!/ヽとレ、う問題点が指摘されて いる。
[0006] また、熱処理(ァニール)をして結晶性を上げることによりポリ乳酸の耐熱性を向上さ せようとすると、通常、光を散乱する原因となる光の波長と同程度以上の大きさの結 晶(例えば、球晶)が急速に成長し、不透明になる問題点がある。
[0007] このような問題を解決するため、ポリ乳酸に各種添加剤を添加することにより、耐熱 性、透明性を向上させる試みが多数なされている。
[0008] 特許文献 1には、核剤としてリン酸エステル金属塩、含水珪酸マグネシウム等の添 加が効果的であると記載されている。し力、しながら、その様な核剤を用いた場合、透 明性が損なわれるという欠点がある。また、一般的に用いられるタルクは、結晶化速 度の観点のみならば実用範囲内である力 そのためには添加量が 1 %以上必要とな る場合が多ぐポリ乳酸本来の特性である透明性を損なう欠点がある。
[0009] 特許文献 2には、核剤として脂肪族カルボン酸アミド、脂肪族カルボン酸塩、脂肪 族アルコールおよび脂肪族カルボン酸エステルから選択される少なくとも一種を透明 核剤として添加する方法が記されている。し力、しながら、この場合、結晶化度 33%で ヘイズ 6. 5%であり、十分な結晶化度と透明性とを兼ね備える結果は得られなかった
[0010] 特許文献 3には、特定の官能基を有する化合物を開始剤とするポリ乳酸と無機フィ ラーを用いる方法が記載されている。し力、しながら、この方法では、スリップ性が改良 されたものの、無機フィラーを添加していることで、透明性を確保することはできなか つた。

発明の開示
発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0011] 本発明の課題は、熱可塑性樹脂が本来有している剛性を損なわずに、耐熱性(高 結晶化性)および透明性が改善された樹脂組成物、ならびに該樹脂組成物からなる 成形体を提供することにある。また、本発明は、前記組成物に好適に用いられる新規 な結晶核剤を提供することも目的とする。
課題を解決するための手段
[0012] 本発明者らは、上記課題を解決すべく鋭意研究を行った。その結果、特定の結晶 核剤を用いることにより、上記課題を解決できることを見出した。
[0013] すなわち、本発明に係る熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、熱可塑性樹脂 (A)およびトリメシ ン酸のトリス(アミノ酸エステル)アミド類からなる結晶核剤(B)を含むことを特徴とする
[0014] 本発明の熱可塑性組成物は、前記熱可塑性樹脂 (A) 100重量部に対して、前記 結晶核剤(B)を 0. 01〜; 10重量部の量で含むことが好ましい。
[0015] 前記熱可塑性樹脂 (A)は乳酸系樹脂 (Α' )であることが好ましく、前記乳酸系樹脂
(Α' )はポリ乳酸であることが好まし!/、。

[0017] 本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物にお!/、て、該組成物を 220°Cで 3分間溶融した後、
99°C/分の冷却速度で 100°Cまで冷却し、 100°Cで保持した際の等温結晶化時間 力^分以内であることが好ましい。
[0018] 本発明の成形体は、上述した本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物からなり、厚み 100 mでのヘイズが 0.;!〜 15%であり、かつ結晶化度が 35%以上であることを特徴とす

発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0026] 以下、本発明に係る熱可塑性樹脂組成物およびその成形体につ!、て詳細に説明 する。まず、本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物に用いることができる各成分について説 明する。
[0027] <熱可塑性樹脂 (A) >
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物に用いられる熱可塑性樹脂としては、結晶性を有す るものであれば特に限定されない。このような熱可塑性樹脂としては、例えば、乳酸 系樹脂 (Α' )、ポリプロピレン樹脂 (ΡΡ)、ポリエチレン樹脂 (ΡΕ)、ポリアミド樹脂 (ΡΑ )、ポリアセタール樹脂(POM)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリブチレンテ レフタレート(PBT)、ポリフエ二レンサルファイト(PPS)、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン (PEEK)、 PTFE等のフッ素樹脂および液晶性ポリマー(LCP)などが挙げられる。こ れらは 1種単独で用いても、 2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。これらの中では、 乳酸系樹脂 (Α' )が好ましい。なお、以下において、熱可塑性樹脂として乳酸系樹脂 (Α' )を含む場合、本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物を「乳酸系樹脂組成物」と称するこ と力 sある。
[0028] 本発明の組成物に好適に用いられる「乳酸系樹脂」とは、 L-乳酸単位および/ま たは D -乳酸単位を少なくとも 50モル%以上、好ましくは 75モル%以上含有する重 合体を主成分とする重合体組成物を意味するものであり、乳酸の重縮合や乳酸の環 状二量体であるラクチドの開環重合によって合成される。
[0029] 乳酸系樹脂 (Α' )は、乳酸と共重合可能な他のモノマーが共重合されたものでもよ い。好ましくは乳酸単位が 100モル%のポリ乳酸であり、さらに好ましくは L-乳酸また は D—乳酸由来の構成単位が 95モル%以上、より好ましくは 97モル%以上であるポ リ乳酸である。また、乳酸系樹脂 (Α' )には、乳酸単位が 50モル%以上含有された重 合体以外に、該重合体の性質を著しく損なわない範囲で、他の樹脂や添加物等が 混合された組成物であってもよレ、。
[0030] 上記乳酸系樹脂(Α' )の重量平均分子量(Mw)は 5, 000〜500, 000、好ましく は 10, 000—400, 000、さらに好まし <は 50, 000—300, 000である。
[0031] 乳酸と共重合可能なモノマーとしては、ヒドロキシカルボン酸(例えば、グリコール酸 、カプロン酸等)、脂肪族多価アルコール (例えば、ブタンジオール、エチレングリコ ール等)および脂肪族多価カルボン酸 (例えば、コハク酸、アジピン酸等)などが挙げ られる。 [0032] 上記乳酸系樹脂 (Α' )がコポリマーの場合、コポリマーの配列の様式は、ランダム 共重合体、交替共重合体、ブロック共重合体、グラフト共重合体等のいずれの様式 でもよい。これらは、少なくとも一部が、エチレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、ト リエチレングリコーノレ、ポリエチレングリコーノレ、プロピレングリコーノレ、ジプロピレング リコーノレ、エチレングリコーノレ/プロピレングリコーノレ共重合体、 1 , 3-ブタンジォーノレ 、 1 , 4-ブタンジォーノレ、 3-メチノレ- 1 , 5-ペンタンジオール、 1 , 6-へキサンジオール 、 1 , 9-ノナンジオール、ネオペンチルグリコール、ポリテトラメチレングリコール、グリ セリン、トリメチロールプロパン等の二官能以上等の多価アルコール;キシリレンジイソ シァネート、 2, 4-トリレンジイソシァネート等のような多価イソシァネート;セルロース、 ァセチルセルロースやェチルセルロース等のような多糖類などが共重合されたもので もよい。また、少なくとも一部が、線状、環状、分岐状、星形、三次元網目構造等のい ずれの構造をとつてもょレ、。
[0033] ラタチド、乳酸またはその他のモノマーの重合を行う際に溶媒を使用しても構わな い。溶媒としては、例えば、へキサン、ヘプタン、デカンなどの脂肪族炭化水素;シク 口ペンタン、シクロへキサンなどの脂環式炭化水素;ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン、メ シチレン、ェチルベンゼンなどの芳香族炭化水素;ジェチルエーテル、ジォキサン、 テトラヒドロフラン (THF)、ジグリムなどのエーテル系溶媒、クロ口ベンゼン、 ο—ジクロ 口ベンゼン、 1 , 1 , 2, 2, —テトラクロロェタン、ブロモベンゼン、 ο—ジブロモベンゼン などのハロゲン化炭化水素類などが用いられる。
[0034] これらの溶媒は、 1種単独で用いても 2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。ラクチ ドゃ乳酸の溶解性、反応温度、反応速度、反応終了後の溶媒除去の容易性等の点 から、芳香族炭化水素とエーテル系溶媒が好ましぐ特に好ましくはキシレン、トルェ ンである。溶媒の使用量は、ラクチドまたは乳酸の合計量に対して、 0. ;!〜 20倍、好 ましくは 0. 5〜3倍の範囲で選択される。
[0035] また、重合において用いられる触媒としては公知のものを使用できる。例えば、オタ タン酸スズ(2-ェチルへキサン酸スズ)、ジラウリン酸ジブチルスズ、塩化スズ等のス ズ系触媒、塩化チタン、チタンテトライソプロボキシド等のチタン系触媒、塩化亜鉛、 酢酸亜鉛等の亜鉛系触媒が挙げられる。これらの中では、好ましくはスズ系触媒、よ り好ましくはオクタン酸スズである。触媒の使用量は、乳酸ゃラクタイド等のモノマー 1 00重量部に対して、 0. 00;!〜 5重量部、好ましくは 0. 003〜1重量部、さらに好まし くは 0. 005—0. 1重量部である。
[0036] 重合温度は、 60°C〜250°C、好ましくは 100°C〜230°Cである。たとえば、溶媒を 用いない場合、反応温度は 150〜200°C程度が好ましい。また、例えば、溶媒にキ シレンを用い、触媒としてオクタン酸スズを用いて重合開始剤にラクチドを反応させる 場合、反応温度は 110〜; 150°C程度が好まし!/、。
[0037] 重合時間は、用いるモノマーの種類、重合温度、触媒量などにより異なる力 0. 1 〜24時間、好ましくは 0. 5〜; 12時間、さらに好ましくは 1〜6時間であり、現実的には 反応の際、 GPC (ゲルパーミエーシヨンクロマトグラフィー)等により分子量 (重量平均 分子量)を測定し、所望の分子量に到達した時点を反応終点として決定すればよ!/ヽ
[0038] <結晶核剤(B)〉
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物に用いられる「結晶核剤」とは、上記熱可塑性樹脂 に添加した際に、結晶化の際に核剤となるもので、かつ透明性を付与するものであり 、具体的にはトリメシン酸のトリス(アミノ酸エステル)アミド類である。
[0039] 上記トリメシン酸のトリス(アミノ酸エステル)アミド類は、トリメシン酸とアミノ酸エステ ル類とのアミド化反応により製造することができる。トリメシン酸とアミノ酸エステル類と のアミド化反応は公知慣用の方法で行うことができ、たとえば、トリメシン酸とアミノ酸 エステル類との脱水反応や、トリメシン酸クロライドとアミノ酸エステル類との脱塩化水 素反応などの方法で行うことができる。反応時の副生物や着色等の問題を考慮すれ ば、トリメシン酸クロライドとアミノ酸エステルまたはアミノ酸エステル塩酸塩を用いるこ とが好ましぐアミノ酸エステル塩酸塩が最も好ましい。
[0040] 上記アミノ酸エステル類としては、たとえば、グリシンメチルエステル、グリシンェチ ノレエステノレ、ノ リンメチノレエステノレ、ノ リンェチノレエステノレ、ノ リン n—プロピノレエス ノレ、ロイシン一 n プロピルエステル、ロイシン一 i プロピルエステル、ァラニン一 i— プロピノレエステノレ、ァスパラギン酸ェチノレエステノレ、ァスパラギン酸 n プロピノレエ ステル、ァスパラギン酸 i プロピルエステル、およびこれらの塩酸塩などを挙げる こと力 Sできる。これらの中では、好ましくはバリンエステル類、ロイシンエステル類であ り、エステルとしてはメチルエステルおよびェチルエステルが好ましレ、。
[0041] 上記アミド化反応の形態は特に限定されないが、副反応や着色の抑制を考慮すれ ば、反応に対して不活性な溶媒を用いて、マイナス 20°C〜200°Cの範囲、好ましく はマイナス 10°C〜150°Cの範囲、より好ましくはマイナス 5°C〜; 100°Cの範囲で行う ことがよレ、。
[0042] この時用いられる溶媒の種類としては、各原料および反応に対して不活性なもので あれば特に限定されず、たとえば、へキサン、シクロへキサン、ヘプタン、オクタン、デ カン、ベンゼン、トノレェン、キシレン、メシチレン、ェチノレベンゼン、ジェチノレベンゼン 、テトラリン、 p シメン等の脂肪族または芳香族炭化水素類、ジクロロメタン、クロロホ ノレム、 1 , 2—ジクロ口ェタン、テトラクロロェタン、クロ口ベンゼン、 o ジクロ口ベンゼン 等の脂肪族または芳香族ハロゲン化炭化水素類、テトラヒドロフラン、ジォキサン、ジ ェチルエーテル、ジブチルエーテル、 1 , 2—ジメトキシェタン(グライム)、 1 , 2—ジェ トキシェタン、 1 , 2—ブトキシェタン、ジエチレングリコーノレジメチノレエーテノレ(ジグラ ィム)ジエチレングリコーノレジブチノレエーテノレ、ァニソ一ノレ、フエネト一ノレ、ジフエ二ノレ エーテル等のエーテル類、ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルァセトアミド、 N メチルビ 口リドン、 1 , 3 ジメチルー 2 イミダゾリジノン、スルホラン等の非プロトン性極性溶 媒などが挙げられる。
[0043] 上記溶媒は、 1種単独で用いても、 2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。また、こ れら溶媒の使用量は、任意の量で行えばよいが、撹拌および反応効率を考慮すれ ば、通常反応基質の合計量に対して 1〜; 100重量%の範囲、好ましくは 1. 5〜50重 量%の範囲、さらに好ましくは、 2〜25重量%の範囲である。なお、上記反応におい て、反応基質および生成物は必ずしも反応溶媒に溶解してレ、なくてもょレ、。
[0044] また、トリメシン酸源としてトリメシン酸クロライドを用いる場合、脱塩化水素剤として の塩基の使用は任意である力 S、低温において効率よく反応を行うためには、トリェチ ノレアミン、ピリジン、炭酸ナトリウム、炭酸カリウム等の塩基を当量以上で用いることが 望ましい。 [0045] 上記結晶核剤(B)は、 1種単独で用いても、 2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもょレ、 。また、上記結晶核剤 (B)は、上記熱可塑性樹脂 (A) 100重量部に対して、 0. 0;!〜 10重量部、好ましくは 0. 05〜5重量部、より好ましくは 0. ;!〜 3重量部の範囲の量で 用いること力 Sできる。結晶核剤(B)の含有量が前記範囲内であることにより、結晶核 剤としての効果が大きく発現し、高い結晶化速度、透明性を兼ね備えた樹脂組成物 が得られる。
[0046] <各種添加剤等〉
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物には、 目的(例えば、成形性、二次加工性、分解性 、引張強度、耐熱性、保存安定性、耐候性、難燃性等の向上)に応じて、上記成分( A)および (B)以外の他の樹脂もしくは重合体や各種添加剤を添加してもよい。
[0047] 他の樹脂もしくは重合体としては、ポリスチレン、ポリカーボネート樹脂、アクリル樹 脂、非晶ポリエステル、ポリスルホン、ポリフエ二レンオキサイド、ポリイミド、ポリエーテ ルイミド、アクリロニトリル 'ブタジエン 'スチレン共重合体(ABS)、エチレン · α -ォレフ イン共重合ゴム、共役ジェン系ゴム、スチレン系ゴム、フエノール樹脂、メラミン樹脂、 シリコーン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂などが挙げられる。これらは、 1種単独で用いても 2種 以上を組み合わせて用いてもよ!/、。
[0048] 各種添加剤としては、たとえば、可塑剤、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、熱安定剤、 難燃剤、内部離型剤、無機添加剤、有機添加剤、帯電防止剤、表面ぬれ改善剤、 焼却補助剤、顔料、染料、核化剤、滑剤、天然物等を挙げることができ、好ましくは 可塑剤が挙げられる。
[0049] 可塑剤としては、たとえば、トリァセチン、トリエチレングリコールジアセテート、ァセ チルタエン酸トリエチル、ァセチルクェン酸トリブチル、ジブチルセバケート、シリコー ンオイルなどが挙げられる。
[0050] 無機添加剤や滑剤は、フィルムもしくはシートのブロッキング防止やすべり性を改良 するために用いることができる。このような無機添加剤としては、シリカ、マイ力、タルク 、ガラス繊維、ガラスビーズ、カオリン、カオリナイト、硫酸バリウム、硫酸カルシウム、 水酸化マグネシウム、ワラストナイト、炭素繊維、ケィ酸カルシウム繊維、マグネシウム ォキシサルフェート繊維、チタン酸カリウム繊維、亜硫酸カルシウム、ホワイトカーボン 、クレー、モンモリロナイト、酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛などが挙げられる。これらは、 1種単 独で用いても 2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。特に、無機添加剤としてガラス 繊維を用いることにより、樹脂組成物の耐熱性向上が期待できる。

本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法としては、公知の製造方法を適宜採用 すること力 Sできる。例えば、高速撹拌機または低速撹拌機等を用いて、各成分を予め 均一に混合した後、樹脂の融点以上において十分な混練能力のある一軸もしくは多 軸の押出機で溶融混練する方法、溶融時に混合混練する方法、溶液中で混合した 後に溶媒を除く方法などを採用することができる。
[0054] 熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造は、成形体の成形前に行ってもよぐ組成物の製造と 成形とを同時に行ってもよい。成形前に組成物を製造する場合、樹脂組成物の形状 はペレット、棒状または粉末などが好まし!/、。
[0055] <熱可塑性樹脂組成物〉
本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、結晶化速度が速いという点で優れる。ここで、本 発明における「結晶化速度」とは、示差走査熱量測定 (DSC)分析において、ポリマ 一を昇温して融解した後、一定速度で所定の温度まで冷却し、その所定の温度で保 持した際に、その所定の温度に保持した時点から結晶化のための発熱ピークが最大 値となるまでの時間(以下「等温結晶化時間」ともいう。)によって求められる。この時 間が短ければ結晶化速度は速いことになる。なお、前記所定の温度とは、測定する ポリマーによって適宜選択される。 [0056] 上記等温結晶化時間は、具体的には、本発明のように樹脂が乳酸由来のユニット により構成されている場合、フィルム状のポリマー 5〜6mgを秤量し、窒素シールした パンに計り込み、窒素シールされた予め 30°Cに設定された DSC測定部に装入した 後、 100°C/minの昇温速度で昇温し、 220°Cで 3分間溶融した後、 99°C/minの 冷却速度で所定の結晶化温度(例えば 100°C)まで冷却して保持した際に、所定の 温度まで冷却された時点から結晶化のための発熱ピークが最大値となるまでの時間 によって求められる。

本発明の成形体は、上述した本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物、好ましくは乳酸系樹 脂組成物からなる。本発明の成形体は、公知公用の方法、たとえば、以下のような方 法で製造すること力できる。
[0059] (1)押出成形においては、本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物を、一般的な Tダイ押出 成形機で成形することにより、フィルムやシートを成形することができる。
[0060] (2)射出成形においては、本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを溶融軟化さ せて金型に充填し、成形サイクル 20〜300秒で成形体が得られる。
[0061] (3)ブロー成形(射出ブロー成形、延伸ブロー成形、ダイレクトブロー成形)におい ては、たとえば、射出ブロー成形の場合、本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物のペレットを 、一般的な射出ブロー成形機で溶融して金型に充填することにより、予備成形体を 得る。得られた予備成形体をオーブン (加熱炉)中で再加熱した後、一定温度に保持 された金型内に入れて、圧力空気を送出してブローすることによりブローボトルを成 形すること力でさる。
[0062] (4)真空成形'真空圧空成形においては、上記(1)の押出成形と同様の方法により 成形したフィルムやシートを予備成形体とする。得られた予備成形体を加熱して、一 且、軟化させた後、一般的な真空成形機を用いて、一定温度に保持された金型内で 、真空成形または真空圧空成形することにより、成形体を得ること力できる。
[0063] (5)積層体成形においては、上記(1)の押出成形の方法で得たフィルムやシートと 他の基材とを、接着剤や熱でラミネーシヨンする方法;上記(1)の押出成形の方法と 同様の方法で、 τダイから溶融樹脂を直接、紙、金属、プラスチックなどの基材上へ 押出す押出ラミネーシヨン法;本発明の樹脂組成物などを別の押出機で各々溶融し 、ダイヘッドで合流させて同時に押し出す共押出法;これらを組み合わせた共押出ラ ミネーシヨンなどの方法で積層成形体を得ることができる。
[0064] (6)テープヤーン成形においては、上記(1)の押出成形と同様の方法により成形し たフィルムやシートを特定の幅にスリットし、 60°C〜; 140°Cの温度範囲で一軸に熱延 伸し、必要に応じてさらに 80°C〜160°Cの温度範囲で熱固定することで成形体を得 ること力 Sでさる。
[0065] (7)糸成形においては、本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物を、押出機を用いて 150〜
240°Cの温度で溶融し、紡糸口金から吐出させる溶融紡糸法により糸を得ることがで きる。必要に応じて、 60°C〜; 100°Cの温度範囲で一軸に熱延伸し、場合によっては さらに 80°C〜140°Cの温度範囲で熱固定することで糸を成形することができる。
[0066] (8)不織布成形においては、スパンボンド法またはメルトブローン法により成形体を 成形することカできる。スパンボンド法では、上記(7)の糸成形と同様の方法で、多孔 の紡糸口金を用いて溶融紡糸し、紡糸口金の下部に設置したエアーサッカを用いて 延伸してウェブを形成し、捕集面に堆積させ、さらにこれをエンボスロールおよび平 滑ロールにて圧着または熱融着させることで不織布を得ることができる。メルトブロー ン法では、多孔の紡糸口金から吐出された溶融樹脂力 加熱気体吹出口力 吹き出 される高速度の加熱気体と接触して微細なファイバーに繊維化され、さらに移動支持 体上に堆積されることで不織布を得ることができる。
[0067] 本発明の成形体は、 80°C〜; 120°Cで 1〜300秒間熱処理した後の厚み lOO ^ m でのヘイズ力 0. ;!〜 15%、好ましくは 0. ;!〜 12%、さらに好ましくは 0. l~l l%-e あり、かつ、結晶化度が 35%以上、好ましくは 38〜60%。さらに好ましくは 40〜55 %である。

本発明の熱可塑性樹脂組成物は、上述した種々の成形加工方法により成形するこ とができ、特に限定されることなく様々な用途に好適に使用することができる。また、こ れらの成形品は、自動車部品、家電材料部品、電気 ·電子部品、建築部材、土木部 材、農業資材および日用品、各種フィルム、通気性フィルムやシート、一般産業用途 及びレクリェーション用途に好適な発泡体、糸やテキスタイル、医療又は衛生用品な どの各種用途に利用することができ、好ましくは耐熱性、耐衝撃性が必要とされる自 動車材料部品、家電材料部品、電気 ·電子材料部品ある!/、は耐熱性および透明性 が求められる日用品に利用すること力 Sできる。
[0070] 具体的には、 自動車部品材料用途では、フロントドア、ホイルキャップなどのこれま で樹脂部品が用いられている部品への展開、家電材料部品用途ではパソコン、へッ ドホンステレオ、携帯電話などの製品の筐体部品への展開、電気'電子部品では、反 射材料フィルム 'シート、偏光フィルム 'シート、 日用品では飲用カップ、野菜トレーや ブリスターパック等への展開が挙げられる。 実施例

検出器:日本分光 (株)社製「UV1570」、ポンプ:日本分光 (株)社製「PU1580」2 台並列、(カラム:(株)ヮイエムシ一社製「YMC A— 312」、カラム温度: 35°C、移動 相:ァセトニトリル/水 = 70/30 (¥/¥)、流量:1111し/1^1 )を用ぃ、ピーク面積比 から純度を求めた。 [0073] <結晶化速度 (等温結晶化時間) >

DSC (島津製作所製「DSC— 60」)により求めた。プレス成形によって得られた無 配向フィルムを 105°Cのオーブンで所定時間熱処理し、処理後のフィルム 5〜6mg を秤量し、窒素シールしたパンに計り込み、窒素シールされた予め 25°Cに設定され た DSC測定部に装入した後、 10°C/minの昇温速度で 220°Cまで昇温した。結晶化 ェンタルピー( Δ He)、結晶融解ェンタルピー( Δ Hm)を測定し、 [[( Δ Hm— Δ He) / ( Δ Η ) ] Χ 100]を求め、これを結晶化度とした。ここで、 Δ Ηは完全理想結晶融

JISK7105に基づきヘイズメーター(日本電色社製「NDH2000」 )により求めた。
[0076] 〔実施例 1〕
(結晶核剤の合成)
攪拌機、温度計、滴下ロートおよびコンデンサーを備え付けた 200mLガラス製反 応装置に、 L—バリンメチルエステル塩酸塩 20· 78g (124mmol)、ピリジン 23· 7g ( 300mmol)およびクロ口ホルム lOOmLを入れ、窒素を流しながら室温で溶解させた 。その後、氷水浴で冷却して 2〜3°Cの条件下とし、トリメシン酸クロリド 10. 62g (40 mmol)をクロ口ホルム 40mLに溶解させた溶液を、滴下ロートを用いて同温度にて 2 時間かけて滴下し、同温度にて 3時間反応させた。
[0077] 反応後、氷水浴を外して室温まで戻した。この反応液を 1L分液ロートに移し、蒸留 水 200mLで洗浄し、下層(クロ口ホルム層)を分液し、これを 0· 5N塩酸水 200mLで 洗浄し、下層を分液した。次いで、分液した下層を 0. 5N炭酸水素ナトリウム水 200 mLで洗浄し、下層を分液した。さらに分液した下層を 10wt%塩化ナトリウム溶液 20 OmLで洗浄し、下層を分液した。この分液した下層に無水硫酸ナトリウム 50gをカロえ 、室温で 2時間マグネチックスターラーにて攪拌および脱水した後、濾過およびクロ口 ホルム洗浄し、濾洗液をエバポレーターにて濃縮乾固した。さらに、この濃縮物にト ルェン lOOmLを加え、エバポレーターにて濃縮乾固した。このようにして得られた濃 縮物にトルエン 160gを加えたスラリーを冷却した後、濾過および洗浄し、濾塊を乾燥 して 10. 9gの白色粉体 (以下「結晶核剤 (B— 1)」ともいう。)を得た。
[0078] 高速液体クロマトグラフィーによる結晶核剤(B— 1)の純度は 99. OArea%であつ た。また、 NMR測定および元素分析等により、得られた結晶核剤(B— 1)が、下記式 (I)で示されるトリメシン酸トリスノ リンメチルエステルアミドであることを確認した。元素 分析の結果を表 1に示す。また、 ^-NMRチャートを図 1に示す。なお、 ^-NMR測 定は、 CDC1を溶媒とし、 日本電子 (株)社製「GSX 270」を用いて行った。

(結晶核剤の合成)
攪拌機、温度計、滴下ロートおよびコンデンサーを備え付けた 500mLガラス製反 応装置に、トリメシン酸クロライド 26· 8g (0. lmol)、L—ロイシンメチルエステル塩酸 塩 56. 3g (0. 31mol)、テトラヒドロフラン 300mLを入れ、窒素を流しながら室温で 溶解させた。その後、ピリジン 57. 9g (0. 732mol)およびテトラヒドロフラン 57· 9gの 混合溶液を、滴下ロートを用いて 1. 5時間かけて滴下した後、同温度にて 3時間反 応させた。反応に伴い発熱を生じたが、水冷により室温を保ちながら反応を行った。
[0081] 得られた反応マスは、副生したピリジン塩酸塩の結晶を含むスラリーであり、蒸留水
1L中に排出して 1時間撹拌を行った後、濾過を行い目的とするトリメシン酸トリスロイ シンメチルエステルアミドの結晶を得た。この結晶をさらに 500mLの蒸留水により 2 回スラッジング (撹拌洗浄および濾過)を行い、濾塊を乾燥して 64. 9gの白色粉体( 以下「結晶核剤 (B— 2)」ともいう。)を得た。
[0082] 高速液体クロマトグラフィーによる結晶核剤(B— 2)の純度は 99. lArea%であつ た。また、 NMR測定および元素分析等により、得られた結晶核剤(B— 2)が、下記式 (II)で示されるトリメシン酸トリスロイシンメチルエステルアミドであることを確認した。元 素分析の結果を表 2に示す。また、 ^-NMRチャートを図 2に示す。

実施例 2における L一口イシンメチルエステル塩酸塩 56. 3g (0. 31mol)を L—バリ ンェチルエステル 56. 3g (0. 31mol)に変えた以外は実施例 2と同様にして、白色 粉体 (以下「結晶核剤 (B— 3)」ともいう。 ) 65. lgを得た。高速液体クロマトグラフィー による結晶核剤(B— 3)の純度は 99. 3Area%であった。また、 NMR測定および元 素分析等により、得られた結晶核剤 (B— 3)力 下記式 (III)で示されるトリメシン酸トリ スバリンェチルエステルアミドであることを確認した。元素分析の結果を表 3に示す。 また、 ifi-NMRチャートを図 3に示す。

実施例 2における L一口イシンメチルエステル塩酸塩 56. 3g (0. 31mol)を L—ロイ シンェチルエステル 67. 6g (0. 31mol)に変えた以外は実施例 2と同様にして、白 色粉体 (以下「結晶核剤 (B— 4)」ともいう。) 76. 2gを得た。高速液体クロマトグラフィ 一による結晶核剤(B— 4)の純度は 99. 3Area%であった。また、 NMR測定および 元素分析等により、得られた結晶核剤 (B— 4)が、下記式 (IV)で示されるトリメシン酸 トリスロイシンェチルエステルアミドであることを確認した。元素分析の結果を表 3に示 す。また、 ^-NMRチャートを図 4に示す。

〔実施例 5〜; 10〕
実施例;!〜 4で合成した結晶核剤(B—;!)〜(B— 4)と市販のポリ乳酸 (A— 1) [三 井化学製、登録商標 LACEA、グレード H— 100、 Mw= 17. 3万]とを、ラボプラスト ミルを用いて、温度 200°C、時間 5分および回転数 50rpmの条件で、表 5に示す重 量部で混練した。混練物を、 200°Cおよび lOMPaの条件で 5分間プレスし、厚さ 10 C^ mのフィルムを得た。得られたフィルムの等温結晶化時間を、上記のようにして測 定した。また、このフィルムを 105°Cのオーブンに 20秒間および 60秒間入れてァニ ール (熱処理)を行い、ァニール前後の結晶化度および透明性(ヘイズ)を、上記のよ うにして測定した。結果を表 5に示す。

市販のポリ乳酸 (A— 1) [三井化学製、登録商標 LACEA、グレード H— 100、 Mw = 17. 3万] 100重量部に対して、結晶核剤(EBL :エチレンビスラウリン酸アミド)を 表 5に示す量で用いた以外は、実施例 5〜; 10と同様にしてフィルムを作製し、等温結 晶化時間、結晶化度および透明性を測定した。結果を表 5に示す。

Claims

請求の範囲
[1] 熱可塑性樹脂 (A)およびトリメシン酸のトリス(アミノ酸エステル)アミド類からなる結 晶核剤 (B)を含むことを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
[2] 前記熱可塑性樹脂 (A) 100重量部に対して、前記結晶核剤(B)を 0. 01〜; 10重 量部の量で含むことを特徴とする請求項 1に記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
[3] 前記熱可塑性樹脂 (A)が乳酸系樹脂 (Α' )であることを特徴とする請求項 2に記載 の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
[4] 前記乳酸系樹脂 (Α' )がポリ乳酸であることを特徴とする請求項 3に記載の熱可塑 性樹脂組成物。
[5] 前記結晶核剤(Β)がトリメシン酸のトリス (パリンエステル)アミド類であることを特徴と する請求項 1〜4のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
[6] 前記結晶核剤(Β)がトリメシン酸のトリス(ロイシンエステル)アミド類であることを特 徴とする請求項 1〜4のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
[7] 前記熱可塑性樹脂組成物を 220°Cで 3分間溶融した後、 99°C/分の冷却速度で 100°Cまで冷却し、 100°Cで保持した際の等温結晶化時間が 5分以内であることを 特徴とする請求項 1〜6のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
[8] 請求項 1〜7のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物からなり、厚み 100 mで のヘイズが 0. ;!〜 15%であり、かつ結晶化度が 35%以上であることを特徴とする成 形体。
[9] 下記一般式(1)で表されるトリメシン酸トリス (パリンエステル)アミド化合物。
