Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Synthesegas aus Biogas und eine zur Durchführung des Verfahrens geeignete Anlage. Ausgehend von den Nachteilen des bekannten Standes der Technik soll ein Verfahren geschaffen werden, das sich durch eine wirtschaftlichere Prozessführung und eine höhere Ausbeute auszeichnet. Hierzu wird als Lösung vorgeschlagen, dass vor der katalytischen Umwandlung des Biogases aus diesem Schwefelwasserstoff und Kohlendioxid in getrennten Reinigungsstufen nahezu vollständig abgetrennt werden, wobei Schwefelwasserstoff biologisch durch Zugabe von Sauerstoff und/oder sauerstoffhaltigem Oxidationsmittel entfernt wird. Der Sauerstoff oder das Oxidationsmittel werden so dosiert, dass im gereinigten Biogas (Methangas) ein Sauerstoffüberschuss von mindestens 1,0 Vol.-% enthalten ist. Das Biogas wird ohne Entfeuchtung verdichtet, erwärmt und mit überhitztem Dampf versetzt. Bedingt durch den Sauerstoffüberschuss wird während des Reformingprozesses zusätzlich Wärmeenergie durch eine exotherme Oxidation von im Biogas enthaltenem Sauerstoff mit Wasserstoff im Katalysatorbett erzeugt, zur endothermen Umsetzung von Methan zu Synthesegas.
