Abstract

L'invention concerne un meuble d'assise (10), notamment un meuble rembourré comportant un segment principal (20) s'étendant essentiellement horizontalement, une surface d'assise (22) étant prévue sur le côté supérieur de celui-ci, et un segment pour les jambes (40), une surface d'appui (42) étant prévue sur le côté supérieur de celui-ci. Le segment pour les jambes (40) peut se déplacer entre une position de rangement et une position fonctionnelle, relativement par rapport au segment principal (20). Dans sa position fonctionnelle, le segment pour les jambes est disposé devant une arête avant du segment principal (20) et orienté de telle manière que la surface d'appui (42) est essentiellement horizontale. Dans sa position de rangement, le segment pour les jambes est disposé au moins partiellement sous le segment principal (20) et incliné par rapport à la position fonctionnelle. Le segment pour les jambes (40) est fixé au segment principal (20) au moyen d'un élément de connexion rigide (80), l'élément de connexion (80) étant articulé sur le segment principal (20) ou sur un châssis de base du meuble de manière à pivoter autour d'un premier axe de pivotement (1) fixe par rapport au segment principal (20) ou par rapport au châssis de base du meuble, et articulé sur le segment pour les jambes (40) de manière à pivoter autour d'un deuxième axe de pivotement (2) fixe par rapport au segment pour les jambes. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation du dispositif selon l'invention dans des meubles d'assise à usages variables.
