  • the gasket 54 which is of cylindrical cage shape composed of two spaced apart coaxial annular parts 54a, 54b connected together by three axial bars 54c, 54d, 54e spaced angularly apart, high resistance of the overall gasket to torsional deformation is obtained, preventing it from disengaging from its seat.
  • the gasket 54 is made of at least one polymeric material (preferably self-lubricating) and/or of silicone mixtures. This enables it to slide with low friction on the surface of the seat in which the selector member 8 is engaged.
  • the device according to the invention fully achieves the intended aim, since it allows water blended with water-soluble substances to be used in an extremely simple and low-cost manner without requiring the purchase of expensive devices that are difficult to install, and is of totally satisfactory operation.
  • the presence of anti-backflow means prevents undesired dispensing of water-soluble substances when the inlet is connected directly to the outlet.
  • Another advantage deriving from the presence of the anti-backflow means is that the dispensing pressure is lowered, to hence also obtain a saving in water consumption.
  • the anti-backflow means comprise a unidirectional valve 202, for example that shown in Figure 11. It is positioned exactly in place of or in addition to the anti-backflow filter 41 , such that the water leaving the device flows in the direction of the arrow F.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de mélangeur d'eau s'utilisant avec des unités de distribution d'eau, en particulier des accessoires sanitaires, pour ajouter à l'eau des matières solubles dans l'eau. Le dispositif comprend un corps qui forme une chambre de mélange interne conçue pour contenir une matière soluble dans l'eau; ce corps de dispositif comporte un orifice d'entrée et un orifice de sortie pour l'eau et est équipé, au moins à l'orifice d'entrée, d'un raccord pour relier ledit corps à une conduite d'eau; un élément sélecteur prévu dans ledit corps de dispositif peut être manoevré depuis l'extérieur du corps de manière à adopter au moins deux positions de fonctionnement: une première position dans laquelle il relie directement l'orifice d'entrée à l'orifice de sortie en excluant la liaison entre l'orifice d'entrée et la chambre de mélange, et une deuxième position dans laquelle il relie l'orifice d'entrée à l'orifice de sortie par l'intermédiaire de la chambre de mélange.
