Abstract
L'invention concerne des appareils et des procédés associés à la ligne de finissage d'une installation de polymérisation en solution en continu. Selon un aspect de l'invention, un appareil comprend un pastilleur présentant un liquide de refroidissement, par ex. de l'eau ou une solution aqueuse, auquel est ajouté un agent facilitant le pastillage. Selon un autre aspect, l'appareil comprend des moyens pour éliminer les particules de polymère résiduelles présentes dans le liquide de refroidissement du pastilleur. Selon encore un autre aspect, l'appareil comprend des conduits d'une longueur d'au moins 50 m, servant à transporter le liquide de refroidissement propulseur du pastilleur à un appareil de séchage. Le temps de séjour des pastilles dans le liquide de refroidissement peut être supérieur ou égal à 10 secondes. Selon un autre aspect, un appareil de séchage, comprenant une première et une deuxième zone de séchage, est utilisé pour les pastilles. Selon un autre aspect, un convoyeur pneumatique transporte les pastilles à un appareil de conditionnement. Selon un autre aspect, un appareil de conditionnement comprend un silo de mélange.
