Abstract

Dans un procédé de séparation d'air par distillation cryogénique, un débit riche en oxygène ayant une première pureté en oxygène inférieure à 98% mol. d'oxygène est soutiré du système de colonnes (13, 15) et envoyé à un client, un débit liquide riche en oxygène ayant une deuxième pureté en oxygène éventuellement inférieure à 98% mol d'oxygène est envoyé à un stockage (31), du liquide est ponctuellement soutiré du stockage et envoyé à un vaporiseur de secours pour produire un produit de secours et on soutire un débit liquide (21, 51) ayant une troisième pureté en oxygène, inférieure à la première pureté, de la cuve d'au moins une colonne du système de colonnes et/ou du vaporiseur auxiliaire et on l'envoie au stockage en tant que débit de purge pendant un arrêt du fonctionnement du système de colonnes.
