Abstract

The present invention relates to a gas control valve for a torch in which a gas supply nozzle contacting a valve pin for controlling the supply amount of gas is coupled to a sealing member formed of synthetic resin and contacting the valve pin, and the sealing member is more securely coupled to the gas supply nozzle and is fixed and supported by same. Gas is more efficiently supplied through the hollow portion of the sealing member. A chamber, including an inlet and an outlet in a passage through which the gas travels, is disposed within the body of the gas control valve, and is coupled to the valve unit. The inlet contacting the control end of the valve pin constituting the valve unit is coupled to a contact member formed of synthetic resin. A coupling recess part is disposed outside the inlet in the chamber, and has an inner diameter greater than the inner diameter of the chamber. The contact member formed of synthetic resin is elastically fitted in the chamber, and the outer surface of the contact member is forcibly fitted in the coupling recess part, thereby forming a coupling protrusion part.
