Abstract

Strangpressverfahren zur Herstellung von Profilen mit größeren Abmessungen als die maximalen Abmessungen (Dmax) der Strangpressmatrize (2), bei welchem ein Block aus umzuformenden Material (1) durch eine Matrize (2) gepresst wird und das umgeformte Material (1) nach dem Austritt aus der Matrize (2) normal zur Austrittsrichtung (A) gerichtet wird und dabei die Abmessungen des umgeformten Materials (7) nach diesem Richtvorgang in einer Querrichtung zur Austrittsrichtung (A) größer sind als der maximale, von der Matrize herstellbare Durchmesser (Dmax).
