This is based on two effects: Temperature fluctuations cause expansion or contraction of the air within the protective housing 1 .1. In a hermetically sealed protective housing 1 .1, a negative pressure could develop without the gas-permeable membrane 1 .2, which draws moisture into the housing interior, for example due to age-related or construction-related defects in the sealing system, eg a brittle sealing rubber. This can for example be the result of Temperature differences between the ambient air and the housing interior.
- the gas-permeable membrane 1 .2 is a gas connection between the Gehot- men and the environment. As a result, the moisture content of the air in the protective housing and the ambient air equalize, whereby in the interior of the housing accumulation of moisture is avoided.

If the drive is stationary and a load at the output tries to guide a restoring torque in any direction of rotation through the drive train, the load torque lock blocks. Restoring forces are thus not forwarded and the set position is retained.

- Figure 2c shows a perspective view of the wrap 2.2, which is arranged on the form-locking pin 2.3.
- the drive wheel 2.1 is provided for connection to a motor. If a torque acts on the drive wheel 2.1 from the engine, is solved by the cam 2.1 1 biased on the form-locking bolt 2.3 Schlingfelder 2.2 opposite to their winding direction on the angled end with little friction and can rotate freely. If a torque from the output gear 2.4 acts, the wrap is pressed in the winding direction over the bent end of the form-locking bolt 2.3 and blocked by frictional engagement. As a result of the both sides angled ends of the wrap spring 2.2, this works both from the drive and the output side in both directions of rotation.

- This very often used control is also called SR / SRS control.
- the drive signal can, for example, a value of 0V ... 1 0V, 0.5V ... 10V, 2V ... 1 0V or from a have another range, wherein the drive position is set according to a value of 0 ° ... 360 °, from 0 ° ... 180 ° or in another range.

- the priorities can also be allocated so that a through MP commands triggered forcing function such as the "quick opening” or "rapid closure” has a higher priority than analog force signals so that, for example, in case of fire by the Central a useful ⁇ full Drive position is specified, which can not be changed on site, for example, in a functional test.
- HVAC valve for regulating the flow of fluids in HVAC systems
- a damper actuator of an HVAC system relates to the types of control.
- the drive can be prepared to allow the control of a position, the regulation of a volume or the regulation of a speed.
- Flap position regulated e.g. an input signal of 50% controls the valve proportionally to 50%.
- volume flow control When controlling the volume (water / air) flow, the damper is opened or closed until the deviation between setpoint and actual value falls below a threshold.
- the control signal is generated by a device.
- the difference between the setpoint and the actual value is used to control the speed or the running time. In the case of cruise control as well, a volume flow is ultimately regulated.
- speed control is a historical one: special control devices provide output signals which are used as drive signals for the drives, in the volume control range these output signals are between 2 ... 1 0 V. The center in the range 2 ... 1 0V is 6V As soon as the setpoint agrees with the actual value, the drive is controlled with 6V and stands still The following points describe the behavior: 1. If the deviation between the setpoint and the actual value is more than 1% and is positive, then travel the drive with maximum speed OPEN 2.
- the drive will run CLOSED at maximum speed 3.
- the smaller the deviation between the setpoint and the actual value, the more the speed is shorter or the greater is the running time with which the drive moves to OPEN or CLOSE 4. If the setpoint and the actual value are off are regulated, ie does not exceed a threshold, then the speed 0 resp. the runtime is infinite and the drive stops.
- FIG. 26 schematically shows the transit time behavior as a function of a control voltage U6 or W1 of a drive.
- Figure 27 shows schematically the relationship between the percentage difference signal and the drive signal of a drive.
- the different types of control can be configured in software in one embodiment, for example with a so-called PC tool.
- Figure 1 6 shows schematically in a block diagram 1 6.1 for various combination options of the functions described. The embodiment shown in Figure 1 6 with the closed contacts corresponds to a position control. If, for example, the Y input signal is an SR / SRS drive signal, this always results in a min. / Max. Setting independent of the control mode. If for some reason the Input Filter 2 is required, only the volume or speed control is possible. The control signal resulting from the respective control mode is fed to the motor of the drive.
- control mode volume is only possible with an SR / SRS control signal, for other control signals this control mode is blocked.
- input filter 1 At the output of the control mode position is the input filter 1, which can be changed with MP commands.
- Input Filter 2 At the output of the control modes Volume and Speed is the Input Filter 2, which can not be changed.

- FIG. 28 shows schematically a so-called rubber function, which can also be referred to as a shut-off function.
- the rubber function essentially corresponds to a limitation of the work area. While the limitation of the working range results in the filtering of electrical noise, the rubber function serves to overcome a possible resistance of a seal, in particular a rubber seal, of a flap.
- the rubber function is constantly active, so that at setpoint values of, for example, ⁇ 1%, ie, ZU, or> 99%, ie, UP, the actual value never reaches this setpoint.
- the drive can, for example, generate an MP message and place it on the MP bus, which can be evaluated by a control center.
- the torque of the drive can be maintained for a certain time before it is lowered. After lowering the torque can be tried at intervals again and again, whether normal operation has become possible again. The intervals can be chosen smaller first and later bigger and bigger.

- an LED display is provided on the drive to display these functions. It can also be provided a status byte, which can be queried for example via an MP command MP_Get_State.
- a nominal setting range can be programmed.
- the nominal setting range does not apply due to an adaptation by approaching the mechanical limit stops, but instead it defines a parameterized angle (for rotary drives) or a parameterized stroke (for linear drives).
- the nominal setting range is within a preset, set value Run through the runtime. In order to activate the nominal setting range for a drive, it is sufficient to perform a synchronization, ie to approach the preferred mechanical stop. If a nominal setting range is programmed, the drive behaves as shown schematically in FIG.
- the mechanically adapted setting range 1 7.2 can be set between the positions "CLOSE” and "OPEN".
- the position "CLOSED" of the mechanically adapted setting range 1 7.2 coincides with the position "CLOSED" of the nominal setting range 1 7.1, the nominal setting range 1 7.1 being smaller than the mechanically adapted setting range 1 7.2.

- the mechanically adapted setting range 1 7.2 is constantly compared with the maximum range. If the mechanically adapted setting range 1 7.2 is greater than the maximum setting range, the message "increase setting range" is triggered, for example For a valve without a mechanical opening stop, the drive travels to the internal stop during adaptation. To account for this, a maximum range is programmed Valve overshoot takes place.

- the value 100% corresponds, for example, to the nominal volume flow V nom .
- the priority of the min value is greater than the priority of the max value. If the Min value is parameterized greater than the Max value, the drive always moves to the Min value with a setpoint value in the case of the Ano-io controller.
- the min, mid and max values can be read and written via MP commands. As schematically illustrated in FIG.
- an adapted setting range is read out with the MP command MP_Get_Relative and a Y signal (input signal), which is set between values 0% and 100%, is set to a minimum value (MP_Set_Relative) with the MP command ( 0%) and one

- a forced control in addition to the min value and the max value, for example, in addition an intermediate position with a mid-value.
- the end positions of a damper can be set via the min-value setting and the max-value setting such that e.g. always a minimum volume flow
- a constant volume can be set with Vmin.
- a test run can be performed, the drive, for example, first the Min position (0%) starts and then the maximum position (1 00%) anastronom. After that, the drive continues, for example, according to a control signal or moves to the mid position.
- different values can be queried and checked. For example, with an MP command MP_Get_Relative the adapted setting range can be queried or the actual value can be displayed. Via a feedback signal, which is assigned in drives, for example, the marking U5, for example, the current actual position can be read.
- the MP command MP_Get_State can be used, for example, to read whether synchronization is active for the drive, whether the adaptation is active, whether the test run is active, whether the motor is at the adapted stop, if the piggyback is active, or if hidden synchronization is active is whether the engine stop is active, etc. In particular, it can be read whether the max position is reached.

- the reduced speed is also set shortly before reaching a setpoint value, in particular as soon as the difference between the setpoint value and the actual value is smaller than the set brake band. By reducing the speed before reaching the setpoint, the setpoint can be approached in particular more precise.
- the nominal speed is 940 rpm
- the reduced speed is 470 rpm, ie half the nominal speed.

- a reduced speed is not set until reaching a set brake band.
- the ramp speed is set according to an algorithm as a function of the difference between a setpoint and an actual value. For example, the speed can be proportional to the difference between the setpoint and be reduced to the actual value. For example, the speed is reduced the closer the end stop is reached. In the case of a rubber seal at an end stop position, the reduction of the speed can be canceled as soon as the area of the rubber seals of the end stop is reached. This ensures in particular a sufficient sealing effect of the rubber seal.
