Abstract

 C≦0.15%、Si≦2%、Mn≦3%、P≦0.03%、S≦0.01%、Cr:15%~28%未満、Mo:3~15%、Co:5%超~25%、Al:0.2~2%、Ti:0.2~3%、Nd:fn~0.08%およびO≦0.4Ndを含み、必要に応じてさらに、特定量のNb、W、B、Zr、Hf、Mg、Ca、Y、La、Ce、Ta、ReおよびFeのうちの1種以上を含み、残部はNiおよび不純物からなるNi基耐熱合金(ただし、fn=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)+(Nb/92.91)}であり、上記の式において、dは、平均結晶粒径(μm)、元素記号は、その元素の含有量(質量%)を指す。さらに、Wを含む場合は、Mo+(W/2)≦15%である。)は、高温長期間使用後の延性の飛躍的向上が図れ、補修溶接等で問題となるSR割れなどを回避できる合金である。このため、発電用ボイラ、化学工業用プラント等において管材、耐熱耐圧部材の厚板、棒材、鍛造品等として好適に用いることができる。

Description

Ni基耐熱合金
 本発明は、Ni基耐熱合金に関する。詳しくは、発電用ボイラ、化学工業用プラント等において管材、耐熱耐圧部材の厚板、棒材、鍛造品等として用いられる、熱間加工性と長時間使用後の靱性および延性に優れた高強度Ni基耐熱合金に関する。
 近年、高効率化のために蒸気の温度と圧力を高めた超々臨界圧ボイラの新設が世界中で進められている。
 具体的には、今までは600℃前後であった蒸気温度を650℃以上、さらには700℃以上にまで高めることも計画されている。これは、省エネルギーと資源の有効活用、および環境保全のためのCOガス排出量削減がエネルギー問題の解決課題の一つとなっており、重要な産業政策となっていることに基づく。そして、化石燃料を燃焼させる発電用ボイラおよび化学工業用の反応炉等の場合には、効率の高い、超々臨界圧ボイラおよび反応炉が有利なためである。
 蒸気の高温高圧化は、ボイラの過熱器管および化学工業用の反応炉管、ならびに耐熱耐圧部材としての厚板および鍛造品などの実稼動時における温度を700℃以上に上昇させる。そのため、このような過酷な環境において長期間使用される合金には、高温強度および高温耐食性のみならず、長期にわたる金属組織の安定性、クリープ破断延性および耐クリープ疲労特性が良好なことが要求される。
 さらに、長期間使用後の補修等メンテナンスにおいては、長期経年変化した材料に対して切断、加工、溶接等の作業を行う必要が生じ、新材としての特性だけではなく、経年材としての健全性が最近強く求められるようになっている。
 上記の厳しい要求に対しては、オーステナイトステンレス鋼などのFe基合金では、クリープ破断強度が不足する。このため、γ’相などの析出を活用したNi基合金の使用が不可避となる。
 そこで、特許文献1~8に、Moおよび/またはWを含有させて固溶強化を図るとともに、AlおよびTiを含有させて金属間化合物であるγ’相、具体的には、Ni(Al、Ti)の析出強化を活用して、上述のような過酷な高温環境下で使用するNi基合金が開示されている。
 上記のうちで、特許文献4~6の合金では、28%以上のCrを含有しているため、bcc構造を有するα-Cr相も多量に析出して強化に寄与する。

 前述の特許文献1~8で開示されたNi基合金は、γ’相が析出、またはγ’相とα-Cr相とが析出するため延性が従来のオーステナイト鋼などに比べて低く、特に、長期間使用した場合には、経年変化を生じて延性および靱性が新材と比較して大きく低下してしまう。
 なお、長期使用後の定期検査、使用中の事故および不具合により行うメンテナンス作業においては、不具合のある一部材料を切り出して新材と交換しなければならず、この場合は継続使用する経年材と溶接しなければならない。また、状況によっては部分的に曲げ加工なども行う必要がある。
 しかしながら、特許文献1~8には、上記の長期経年使用にともなう材料の劣化を抑制することに対して、なんらの対策も開示されていない。すなわち、特許文献1~8には、過去のプラントにはみられないような高温・高圧の環境下にある昨今の大型プラントにおいて、長期経年劣化をいかにし抑制し、安全かつ信頼性のある材料を保証するかについては全く検討されていない。
 本発明は、上記現状に鑑みてなされたもので、固溶強化およびγ’相の析出強化によりクリープ破断強度を向上させたNi基合金であって、高温長期間使用後の延性の飛躍的向上を図った、補修溶接等で問題となるSR割れなどを回避できるNi基耐熱合金を提供することを目的とする。
 本発明者らは、γ’相の析出強化を利用したNi基合金(以下、「γ’強化型Ni基合金」という。)の高温長期間使用後の延性の向上およびSR割れ防止について調査を行った。その結果、下記(a)の重要な知見を得た。
 (a)γ’強化型Ni基合金の高温長期間使用後の延性の向上およびSR割れ防止を図るためには、Ndを含有させることが有効である。
 そこでさらに種々の調査を行った結果、下記(b)~(e)の知見を得た。
 (b)平均結晶粒径および粒内の強化度合いも延性向上およびSR割れ防止の重要な指標となる。
 (c)粒内の強化度合いは、γ’相の安定化元素でありNiとともにγ’相を構成するAl、TiおよびNbの量で定量化できる。
 (d)平均結晶粒径および粒内の強化度合いに応じて、延性向上およびSR割れ防止のために含有させるべき必要最小限のNd量が変化する。
 (e)延性向上およびSR割れ防止に寄与する有効なNd量を確保するためには、Ndの含有量に応じてOの含有量を厳密に規制しなければならない。
 本発明は、上記の知見に基づいて完成されたものであり、その要旨は、下記の(1)~(3)に示すNi基耐熱合金にある。
 (1)質量%で、C:0.15%以下、Si:2%以下、Mn:3%以下、P:0.03%以下、S:0.01%以下、Cr:15%以上28%未満、Mo:3~15%、Co:5%を超えて25%以下、Al:0.2~2%、Ti:0.2~3%、Nd:f1~0.08%およびO:0.4Nd以下を含み、残部はNiおよび不純物からなることを特徴とするNi基耐熱合金。
 ただし、上記のf1は下記の式を指し、式中のdは、平均結晶粒径(μm)、元素記号は、その元素の含有量(質量%)を指す。同様に、0.4NdにおけるNdは、Ndの含有量(質量%)を指す。
 f1=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)}。
 (2)質量%で、C:0.15%以下、Si:2%以下、Mn:3%以下、P:0.03%以下、S:0.01%以下、Cr:15%以上28%未満、Mo:3~15%、Co:5%を超えて25%以下、Al:0.2~2%、Ti:0.2~3%、Nd:f2~0.08%およびO:0.4Nd以下を含むとともに、Nb:3.0%以下およびW:4%未満(ただし、Mo+(W/2):15%以下)のうちの1種以上を含有し、残部はNiおよび不純物からなることを特徴とするNi基耐熱合金。
 ただし、上記のf2は下記の式を指し、式中のdは、平均結晶粒径(μm)、元素記号は、その元素の含有量(質量%)を指す。同様に、0.4NdおよびMo+(W/2)における元素記号も、その元素の含有量(質量%)を指す。
 f2=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)+(Nb/92.91)}。
 (3)質量%で、Niの一部に代えて、下記の<1>~<4>のグループから選択される1種以上の元素を含有することを特徴とする上記(1)または(2)に記載のNi基耐熱合金。
 <1>B:0.01%以下、Zr:0.2%以下およびHf:1%以下、
 <2>Mg:0.05%以下、Ca:0.05%以下、Y:0.5%以下、La:0.5%以下およびCe:0.5%以下、
 <3>Ta:8%以下およびRe:8%以下、
 <4>Fe:15%以下。
 残部としての、「Niおよび不純物」における「不純物」とは、耐熱合金を工業的に製造する際に、原料としての鉱石、スクラップ、または製造環境などから混入するものを指す。
 本発明のNi基耐熱合金は、高温長期間使用後の延性の飛躍的向上が図れ、補修溶接等で問題となるSR割れなどを回避できる合金である。このため、発電用ボイラ、化学工業用プラント等において管材、耐熱耐圧部材の厚板、棒材、鍛造品等として好適に用いることができる。
 本発明において、Ni基耐熱合金の化学組成を限定する理由は次のとおりである。なお、以下の説明において、各元素の含有量の「%」表示は「質量%」を意味する。
 C:0.15%以下
 Cは、炭化物を形成して高温環境下で使用される際に必要となる引張強さおよびクリープ強度を確保するために有効な元素であり、本発明においては適宜含有させる。しかしながら、0.15%を超えて含有させても溶体化状態における未固溶炭化物量が増加して、高温強度の向上に寄与しなくなるだけでなく、靱性などの機械的性質および溶接性を劣化させる。したがって、Cの含有量は0.15%以下とした。C含有量は、好ましくは0.1%以下である。
 なお、上記Cの効果を得るためには、C含有量の下限は0.005%とすることが好ましく、0.01%とすれば一層好ましい。より一層好ましいC含有量の下限は0.02%である。
 Si:2%以下
 Siは、脱酸元素として添加されるが、2%を超えて含有させると溶接性および熱間加工性が低下する。また、σ相等の金属間化合物相の生成を促進して、高温における組織安定性の劣化に起因した靱性および延性の低下を招く。よって、Siの含有量は2%以下とした。Siの含有量は、好ましくは1.0%以下、さらに好ましくは0.8%以下である。
 なお、上記Siの効果を得るためには、Si含有量の下限は0.05%とすることが好ましく、0.1%とすれば一層好ましい。
 Mn:3%以下
 Mnは、Siと同様に脱酸作用を有するとともに、合金中に不純物として含有されるSを硫化物として固着し、熱間加工性を改善する効果を有する。しかしながら、Mnの含有量が多くなると、スピネル型酸化皮膜の形成を促進し、高温での耐酸化性を劣化させる。このため、Mnの含有量は3%以下とする。Mnの含有量は、好ましくは2.0%以下、さらに好ましくは1.0%以下である。
 なお、上記Mnの効果を得るためには、Mn含有量の下限は0.05%とすることが好ましく、0.08%とすれば一層好ましい。より一層好ましいMn含有量の下限は0.1%である。
 P:0.03%以下
 Pは、不純物として合金中に含まれ、多量に含まれる場合には、溶接性および熱間加工性を著しく低下させる。したがって、Pの含有量は0.03%以下とした。Pの含有量は極力低くすることがよく、好ましくは0.02%以下、さらに好ましくは0.015%以下である。
 S:0.01%以下
 Sは、Pと同様に合金中に不純物として含有され、多量に含有される場合には、溶接性および熱間加工性を著しく低下させる。したがって、Sの含有量は、0.01%以下とした。
 なお、熱間加工性を重視する場合のS含有量は、0.005%以下とすることが好ましく、0.003%以下とすればさらに好ましい。
 Cr:15%以上28%未満
 Crは、耐酸化性、耐水蒸気酸化性、耐高温腐食性などの耐食性改善に優れた作用を発揮する重要な元素である。しかし、その含有量が15%未満ではこれら所望の効果が得られない。一方、Crの含有量が28%を超えると、熱間加工性の劣化およびσ相の析出などによる組織の不安定化を招く。よって、Crの含有量は15%以上28%未満とした。なお、Cr含有量の下限は18%であることが好ましい。また、Cr含有量の上限は26%であることが好ましく、25%であればさらに好ましい。
 Mo:3~15%
 Moは、母相に固溶してクリープ破断強度を向上させ、かつ線膨張係数を低下させる効果がある。これらの効果を得るためには、Moを3%以上含有させる必要がある。しかしながら、Moの含有量が15%を超えると、熱間加工性および組織安定性が低下する。このため、Moの含有量は3~15%とする。
 上記範囲のMoに加えて、後述する量のWを含有させてもよいが、その場合には、Moの含有量は、Moの含有量とWの含有量の半分の和である〔Mo+(W/2)〕が15%以下を満たすようにする必要がある。
 Mo含有量の好ましい下限は4%であり、また、好ましい上限は14%である。Mo含有量のさらに好ましい下限は5%であり、また、さらに好ましい上限は13%である。
 Co:5%を超えて25%以下
 Coは、母相に固溶してクリープ破断強度を向上させる。さらに、Coは、特に750℃以上の温度域で、γ’相の析出量を増加させてクリープ破断強度を一層向上させる効果も有する。これらの効果を得るためには、5%を超える量のCoを含有させる必要がある。しかしながら、Coの含有量が25%を超えると、熱間加工性が低下する。このため、Coの含有量は5%を超えて25%以下とする。
 熱間加工性とクリープ破断強度のバランスを重視する場合には、Co含有量の好ましい下限は7%であり、また、好ましい上限は23%である。Co含有量のさらに好ましい下限は10%であり、また、さらに好ましい上限は22%である。
 特に750℃以上の温度域でのクリープ破断強度を重視する場合には、Coを17%以上含有させることが好ましく、20%を超えて含有させれば一層好ましい。
 Al:0.2~2%
 Alは、Ni基合金において金属間化合物であるγ’相(NiAl)を析出させ、クリープ破断強度を著しく向上させる重要な元素である。その効果を得るためには、0.2%以上のAl含有量が必要である。しかしながら、Alの含有量が2%を超えると熱間加工性が低下し、熱間鍛造および熱間製管が難しくなる。このため、Alの含有量は0.2~2%以下とした。Al含有量の好ましい下限は0.8%であり、また、好ましい上限は1.8%である。Al含有量のより好ましい下限は0.9%であり、また、より好ましい上限は1.7%である。
 Ti:0.2~3%
 Tiは、Ni基合金においてAlとともに金属間化合物であるγ’相(Ni(Al、Ti))を形成し、クリープ破断強度を著しく向上させる重要な元素である。その効果を得るためには、0.2%以上のTi含有量が必要である。しかしながら、Tiの含有量が3%を超えると熱間加工性が低下し、熱間鍛造および熱間製管が難しくなる。このため、Tiの含有量は0.2~3%とした。Ti含有量の好ましい下限は0.3%であり、また、好ましい上限は2.8%である。Ti含有量のより好ましい下限は0.4%であり、また、より好ましい上限は2.6%である。
 Nd:f1~0.08%(Nbを含まない場合)またはf2~0.08%(Nbを含む場合)
 Ndは、本発明に係るNi基耐熱合金を特徴付ける重要な元素である。すなわち、Ndは、γ’強化型Ni基合金の高温長期間使用後の延性の向上およびSR割れ防止に極めて有効な元素である。この効果を得るためには、Ni基耐熱合金がNbを含まない場合には、下記の平均結晶粒径d(μm)ならびにAlおよびTiの含有量(質量%)の式で表されるf1以上の量のNdを含有させる必要があり、また、Ni基耐熱合金がNbを含む場合には、平均結晶粒径d(μm)ならびにAl、TiおよびNbの含有量(質量%)の式で表されるf2以上の量のNdを含有させる必要がある。
 f1=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)}、
 f2=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)+(Nb/92.91)}。
 上記の延性向上およびSR割れ防止には、平均結晶粒径および粒内の強化度合いも影響を及ぼす。そして、粒内の強化度合いは、γ’相の安定化元素でありNiとともにγ’相を構成するAl、TiおよびNbの量が影響する。このため、平均結晶粒径および粒内の強化度合いに応じて、延性向上およびSR割れ防止のために含有させるべき必要最小限のNd量が変化するのである。
 一方、Ndの含有量が過剰になって0.8%を超えると、熱間加工性の低下および介在物による延性の低下をきたすこととなる。したがって、Ndの含有量を、f1~0.08%(Nbを含まない場合)またはf2~0.08%(Nbを含む場合)とした。
 なお、Ndは一般的にミッシュメタルにも含有される。このため、ミッシュメタルの形で添加して、上記の量のNdを含有させてもよい。
 O:0.4Nd以下
 Oは、不純物として合金中に含まれ、熱間加工性および延性を低下させる。しかも、Ndを含有させる本発明の場合、Oは、Ndと容易に結合して酸化物を形成し、上述したNdの高温長期間使用後の延性の向上およびSR割れ防止の作用を低減させてしまう。このため、Oの含有量に上限を設けて、0.4Nd以下、すなわち、Nd含有量の0.4倍以下とした。なお、Oの含有量は極力低くすることが好ましい。
 本発明のNi基耐熱合金の一つは、上述のCからOまでの元素を含み、残部がNiおよび不純物からなるものである。
 以下、本発明のNi基耐熱合金の残部におけるNiについて説明する。
 Niは、オーステナイト組織を安定にする元素であり、耐食性を確保するためにも重要な元素である。なお、本発明においては、Niの含有量については特に規定する必要はなく、残部のうちで不純物の含有量を除いたものとする。しかしながら、残部におけるNiの含有量は50%を超えることが好ましく、60%を超えれば一層好ましい。
 なお、既に述べたように、「不純物」とは、耐熱合金を工業的に製造する際に、原料としての鉱石、スクラップ、または製造環境などから混入するものを指す。
 本発明のNi基耐熱合金の他の一つは、上記の元素に加えてさらに、Nb、W、B、Zr、Hf、Mg、Ca、Y、La、Ce、Ta、ReおよびFeから選んだ1種以上の元素を含有するものである。
 以下、これらの任意元素の作用効果と、含有量の限定理由について説明する。
 NbおよびWはいずれも、クリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。このため、これらの元素を含有させてもよい。
 Nb:3.0%以下
 Nbは、クリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。すなわち、Nbは、Al、Tiとともに金属間化合物であるγ’相を形成して、クリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。したがって、Nbを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Nbの含有量が多くなって3.0%を超えると、熱間加工性および靱性が低下する。そのため、含有させる場合のNbの量を3.0%以下とした。含有させる場合のNbの量は、2.5%以下であることが好ましい。
 一方、前記したNbの効果を安定して得るためには、Nbの量は0.05%以上であることが好ましく、0.1%以上であれば一層好ましい。
 W:4%未満(ただし、Mo+(W/2):15%以下)
 Wは、クリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。すなわち、Wは、母相に固溶し固溶強化元素としてクリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。したがって、Wを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Wの含有量が多くなって4%以上になると、熱間加工性が低下する。さらに、本発明ではMoを含有させており、MoとWを複合して、Moの含有量とWの含有量の半分の和である〔Mo+(W/2)〕で15%を超える量を含有させると、熱間加工性が大きく低下する。そのため、含有させる場合のWの量を4%未満とし、さらに、〔Mo+(W/2)〕が15%以下を満たすようにした。含有させる場合のWの量は、3.5%以下であることが好ましい。
 一方、前記したWの効果を安定して得るためには、Wの量は1%以上であることが好ましく、1.5%以上であれば一層好ましい。
 上記のNbおよびWは、そのうちのいずれか1種のみ、または、2種の複合で含有させることができる。これらの元素を複合して含有させる場合の合計量は、6%以下であることが好ましい。
 <1>のグループのB、ZrおよびHfは、いずれも、クリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。このため、これらの元素を含有させてもよい。
 B:0.01%以下
 Bは、クリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。Bには、高温強度を向上させる作用もある。すなわち、Bは、B単体で粒界に存在し、高温での使用中における粒界強化による粒界すべりを抑制して、さらに、CおよびNとともに炭窒化物中に存在し、炭窒化物の微細分散析出を促進して、クリープ強度を向上させる作用を有するとともに、高温強度を向上させる作用を有する。したがって、Bを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Bの含有量が多くなって0.01%を超えると、溶接性が劣化する。したがって、含有させる場合のBの量を0.01%以下とした。なお、含有させる場合のB量の上限は0.008%とすることが望ましく、0.006%とすればさらに望ましい。
 一方、前記したBの効果を安定して得るためには、その含有量の下限を0.0005%とすることが好ましく、0.001%とすれば一層好ましい。
 Zr:0.2%以下
 Zrは、粒界強化元素であり、クリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。Zrには破断延性を向上させる作用もある。したがって、Zrを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Zrの含有量が多くなって0.2%を超えると、熱間加工性が低下する。そのため、含有させる場合のZrの量を0.2%以下とした。含有させる場合のZrの量は、0.1%以下であることが好ましく、0.05%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したZrの効果を安定して得るためには、Zrの量は0.005%以上であることが好ましく、0.01%以上であればさらに好ましい。
 Hf:1%以下
 Hfは、主として粒界強化に寄与しクリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。このため、Hfを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Hfの含有量が1%を超えると、加工性および溶接性が損なわれる。そのため、含有させる場合のHfの量を1%以下とした。含有させる場合のHfの量は、0.8%以下であることが好ましく、0.5%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したHfの効果を安定して得るためには、Hfの量は0.005%以上であることが好ましく、0.01%以上であればさらに好ましい。Hfの量は0.02%以上であればより一層好ましい。
 上記のB、ZrおよびHfは、そのうちのいずれか1種のみ、または、2種以上の複合で含有させることができる。これらの元素を複合して含有させる場合の合計量は、0.8%以下であることが好ましい。
 <2>のグループのMg、Ca、Y、LaおよびCeは、いずれもSを硫化物として固定して熱間加工性を向上させる作用を有する。このため、これらの元素を含有させてもよい。
 Mg:0.05%以下
 Mgは、熱間加工性を阻害するSを硫化物として固定して熱間加工性を改善する作用を有する。このため、Mgを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Mgの含有量が0.05%を超えると、清浄性を害し、かえって熱間加工性および延性が損なわれる。したがって、含有させる場合のMgの量を0.05%以下とした。含有させる場合のMgの量は、0.02%以下であることが好ましく、0.01%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したMgの効果を安定して得るためには、Mgの量は0.0005%以上であることが好ましく、0.001%以上であればさらに好ましい。
 Ca:0.05%以下
 Caは、熱間加工性を阻害するSを硫化物として固定して熱間加工性を改善する作用を有する。このため、Caを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Caの含有量が0.05%を超えると、清浄性を害し、かえって熱間加工性および延性が損なわれる。したがって、含有させる場合のCaの量を0.05%以下とした。含有させる場合のCaの量は、0.02%以下であることが好ましく、0.01%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したCaの効果を安定して得るためには、Caの量は0.0005%以上であることが好ましく、0.001%以上であればさらに好ましい。
 Y:0.5%以下
 Yは、Sを硫化物として固定して熱間加工性を改善する作用を有する。また、Yには、合金表面のCr保護皮膜の密着性を改善し、特に、繰り返し酸化時の耐酸化性を改善する作用、さらには、粒界強化に寄与して、クリープ強度およびクリープ破断延性を向上させる作用もある。このため、Yを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Yの含有量が多くなって0.5%を超えると、酸化物などの介在物が多くなり加工性および溶接性が損なわれる。したがって、含有させる場合のYの量を0.5%以下とした。含有させる場合のYの量は、0.3%以下であることが好ましく、0.15%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したYの効果を安定して得るためには、Yの量は0.0005%以上であることが好ましく、0.001%以上であればさらに好ましい。Yの量は0.002%以上であればより一層好ましい。
 La:0.5%以下
 Laは、Sを硫化物として固定して熱間加工性を改善する作用を有する。また、Laには、合金表面のCr保護皮膜の密着性を改善し、特に、繰り返し酸化時の耐酸化性を改善する作用、さらには、粒界強化に寄与して、クリープ強度およびクリープ破断延性を向上させる作用もある。このため、Laを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Laの含有量が0.5%を超えると、酸化物などの介在物が多くなり加工性および溶接性が損なわれる。したがって、含有させる場合のLaの量を0.5%以下とした。含有させる場合のLaの量は、0.3%以下であることが好ましく、0.15%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したLaの効果を安定して得るためには、Laの量は0.0005%以上であることが好ましく、0.001%以上であればさらに好ましい。Laの量は0.002%以上であればより一層好ましい。
 Ce:0.5%以下
 Ceは、Sを硫化物として固定して熱間加工性を改善する作用を有する。また、Ceには、合金表面のCr保護皮膜の密着性を改善し、特に、繰り返し酸化時の耐酸化性を改善する作用、さらには、粒界強化に寄与して、クリープ破断強度およびクリープ破断延性を向上させる作用もある。このため、Ceを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Ceの含有量が多くなって0.5%を超えると、酸化物などの介在物が多くなり加工性および溶接性が損なわれる。したがって、含有させる場合のCeの量を0.5%以下とした。含有させる場合のCeの量は、0.3%以下であることが好ましく、0.15%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したCeの効果を安定して得るためには、Ceの量は0.0005%以上であることが好ましく、0.001%以上であればさらに好ましい。Laの量は0.002%以上であればより一層好ましい。
 上記のMg、Ca、Y、LaおよびCeは、そのうちのいずれか1種のみ、または、2種以上の複合で含有させることができる。これらの元素を複合して含有させる場合の合計量は、0.5%以下であることが好ましい。
 <3>のグループのTaおよびReはいずれも、固溶強化元素として、高温強度およびクリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。このため、これらの元素を含有させてもよい。
 Ta:8%以下
 Taは、炭窒化物を形成するとともに固溶強化元素として高温強度およびクリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。このため、Taを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Taの含有量が8%を超えると、加工性および機械的性質が損なわれる。したがって、含有させる場合のTaの量を8%以下とした。含有させる場合のTaの量は、7%以下であることが好ましく、6%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したTaの効果を安定して得るためには、Taの量は0.01%以上であることが好ましく、0.1%以上であればさらに好ましい。Taの量は0.5%以上であればより一層好ましい。
 Re:8%以下
 Reは、主として固溶強化元素として高温強度およびクリープ強度を向上させる作用を有する。このため、Reを含有させてもよい。しかしながら、Reの含有量が多くなって8%を超えると、加工性および機械的性質が損なわれる。したがって、含有させる場合のReの量を8%以下とした。含有させる場合のReの量は、7%以下であることが好ましく、6%以下であればさらに好ましい。
 一方、前記したReの効果を安定して得るためには、Reの量は0.01%以上であることが好ましく、0.1%以上であればさらに好ましい。Reの量は0.5%以上であればより一層好ましい。
 上記のTaおよびReは、そのうちのいずれか1種のみ、または、2種の複合で含有させることができる。これらの元素を複合して含有させる場合の合計量は、8%以下であることが好ましい。
 Fe:15%以下
 Feは、Ni基合金の熱間加工性を改善する作用を有する。したがって、Feを含有させてもよい。なお、実製造工程ではFe基合金溶解による炉壁からの汚染等により、Feを含有させない場合でも不純物として0.5~1%程度のFeが含まれることがある。Feを含有させる場合、Feの含有量が15%を超えると、耐酸化性および組織安定性が劣化する。したがって、Feの含有量は15%以下とする。耐酸化性を重視する場合にはFeの含有量は10%以下とすることが好ましい。
 なお、上記Feの効果を得るためには、Fe含有量の下限は1.5%とすることが好ましく、2.0%とすれば一層好ましい。より一層好ましいFe含有量の下限は2.5%である。
 以下、実施例によって本発明をより具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例に限定されるものではない。
 表1に示す化学組成を有するNi基合金1~14およびA~Gを高周波真空溶解炉を用いて溶製し、30kgのインゴットを得た。

 このようにして得たインゴットを、1160℃に加熱した後、仕上げ温度が1000℃となるように熱間鍛造して、厚さ15mmの板材とした。
 次いで、上記の厚さ15mmの板材を用いて、1100℃で軟化熱処理を施した後、10mmまで冷間圧延し、さらに、1180℃で30分保持してから水冷した。
 上記の1180℃で30分保持してから水冷した厚さ10mmの各板材の一部を用いて、圧延長手方向が観察面となるように切断、樹脂埋めした試験片を鏡面研磨した後、混酸またはカーリング試薬で腐食して光学顕微鏡観察を行った。倍率100倍で5視野撮影し、各視野、縦(圧延方向と直交)、横(圧延方向と平行)、対角線の計4方向について切断法により平均粒切片長さを測定し、それを1.128倍して平均結晶粒径d(μm)を求めた。
 このようにして求めた平均結晶粒径d(μm)を用いて、
 f1=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)}
または、
 f2=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)+(Nb/92.91)}
を計算して、各合金におけるNd含有量と、本発明で規定するNd含有量の下限値との関係を調査した。
 各合金について、表2に、平均結晶粒径d(μm)とともに、f1またはf2の計算結果を整理して示す。なお、表2には、表1に示したNd、Al、TiおよびNbの含有量を併せて示した。

 表2から、合金Bと合金CのNd含有量だけが、本発明で規定するNd含有量の下限値を下回るものであることが判明した。
 したがって、表1に示した合金のうちで、合金Aおよび合金D~Gに上記の合金Bと合金Cを加えた合計7合金が、化学組成が本発明で規定する条件から外れた合金であることが明らかになった。
 一方、合金1~14は、化学組成が本発明で規定する範囲内にある合金であることも明らかになった。
 次いで、上記の1180℃で30分保持してから水冷した厚さ10mmの各板材の残りの部分を用いて、厚さ方向中心部から、長手方向に平行に、直径が6mmで標点距離が30mmの丸棒引張試験片を機械加工により作製し、クリープ破断試験および極低歪速度での高温引張試験に供した。
 クリープ破断試験は、上記形状の丸棒引張試験片に、700℃において300MPaの初期応力を負荷して実施し、破断時間および破断伸びを測定した。
 さらに、上記形状の丸棒引張試験片を用いて、700℃において10-6/sの極低歪速度で引張試験を行い、破断絞りを測定した。
 なお、上記の歪速度10-6/sは、通常の高温引張試験における歪速度の1/100~1/1000という非常に遅い歪速度である。したがって、この極低歪速度で引張試験した際の破断絞りを測定することによって、耐SR割れ感受性の相対評価を行うことができる。
 具体的には、上記の極低歪速度で引張試験した際の破断絞りが大きい場合、耐SR割れ感受性が低く、SR割れ防止に対する効果が大きいと評価することができる。
 表3に、上記の試験結果を整理して示す。

 表3から、化学組成が本発明で規定する範囲内にある合金1~14を用いた本発明例の試験番号1~14の場合、クリープ破断時間、クリープ破断延性および、極低歪速度での引張試験における破断絞り(すなわち、SR割れ防止に対する効果)の全てにおいて良好であることが明らかである。
 これに対して、化学組成が本発明で規定する条件から外れた合金A~Gを用いた比較例の試験番号15~21の場合、上記の試験番号1~14の本発明例の場合と比べて、クリープ破断時間、クリープ破断延性および、極低歪速度での引張試験における破断絞り(すなわち、SR割れ防止に対する効果)の全てにおいて劣っている。
 すなわち、試験番号15、試験番号16および試験番号18の場合、合金A、合金Bおよび合金Dは、Ndを含まない、あるいはNdの含有量が本発明で規定する範囲外であること以外は、試験番号2で用いた合金2とほぼ同等の化学組成を有しているが、クリープ破断時間、クリープ破断延性および、極低歪速度での引張試験における破断絞り(すなわち、SR割れ防止に対する効果)の全てにおいて劣っている。
 試験番号17および試験番号19の場合、合金Cおよび合金Eは、Ndの含有量が本発明で規定する範囲外であること以外は、試験番号7で用いた合金7とほぼ同等の化学組成を有しているが、クリープ破断時間、クリープ破断延性および、極低歪速度での引張試験における破断絞り(すなわち、SR割れ防止に対する効果)の全てにおいて劣っている。
 試験番号20の場合、合金Fは、Oの含有量が本発明で規定する範囲外であること以外は、試験番号2で用いた合金2とほぼ同等の化学組成を有しているが、クリープ破断時間、クリープ破断延性および、極低歪速度での引張試験における破断絞り(すなわち、SR割れ防止に対する効果)の全てにおいて劣っている。
 試験番号21の場合、合金Gは、Oの含有量が本発明の規定する範囲外であること以外は、試験番号7で用いた合金7とほぼ同等の化学組成を有しているが、クリープ破断時間、クリープ破断延性および、極低歪速度での引張試験における破断絞り(すなわち、SR割れ防止に対する効果)の全てにおいて劣っている。
 本発明のNi基耐熱合金は、高温長期間使用後の延性の飛躍的向上が図れ、補修溶接等で問題となるSR割れなどを回避できる合金である。このため、発電用ボイラ、化学工業用プラント等において管材、耐熱耐圧部材の厚板、棒材、鍛造品等として好適に用いることができる。
 
 

Claims (3)

  1.  質量%で、C:0.15%以下、Si:2%以下、Mn:3%以下、P:0.03%以下、S:0.01%以下、Cr:15%以上28%未満、Mo:3~15%、Co:5%を超えて25%以下、Al:0.2~2%、Ti:0.2~3%、Nd:f1~0.08%およびO:0.4Nd以下を含み、残部はNiおよび不純物からなることを特徴とするNi基耐熱合金。
     ただし、上記のf1は下記の式を指し、式中のdは、平均結晶粒径(μm)、元素記号は、その元素の含有量(質量%)を指す。同様に、0.4NdにおけるNdは、Ndの含有量(質量%)を指す。
     f1=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)}
  2.  質量%で、C:0.15%以下、Si:2%以下、Mn:3%以下、P:0.03%以下、S:0.01%以下、Cr:15%以上28%未満、Mo:3~15%、Co:5%を超えて25%以下、Al:0.2~2%、Ti:0.2~3%、Nd:f2~0.08%およびO:0.4Nd以下を含むとともに、Nb:3.0%以下およびW:4%未満(ただし、Mo+(W/2):15%以下)のうちの1種以上を含有し、残部はNiおよび不純物からなることを特徴とするNi基耐熱合金。
     ただし、上記のf2は下記の式を指し、式中のdは、平均結晶粒径(μm)、元素記号は、その元素の含有量(質量%)を指す。同様に、0.4NdおよびMo+(W/2)における元素記号も、その元素の含有量(質量%)を指す。
     f2=1.7×10-5d+0.05{(Al/26.98)+(Ti/47.88)+(Nb/92.91)}
  3.  質量%で、Niの一部に代えて、下記の<1>~<4>のグループから選択される1種以上の元素を含有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のNi基耐熱合金。
     <1>B:0.01%以下、Zr:0.2%以下およびHf:1%以下
     <2>Mg:0.05%以下、Ca:0.05%以下、Y:0.5%以下、La:0.5%以下およびCe:0.5%以下
     <3>Ta:8%以下およびRe:8%以下
     <4>Fe:15%以下
