Description

走行玩具及び走行玩具セット
 この発明は、コマのように回転するフライホイールを備えた走行玩具、及び、この走行玩具を備えた走行玩具セットに関する。
 従来、フライホイールを駆動輪として使用する種々の走行玩具が提供されている。こうした走行玩具においては、フライホイールを縦に配置するのが一般的である。すなわち、フライホイールを縦に配置すれば、フライホイールの回転力をそのまま車輪の回転に使用することができ、フライホイールによって保存された回転力を効率的に使用することができる。
 一方、フライホイールを縦に配置することで、単なる走行動作とは異なる動作を実現する玩具も存在する。例えば、特許文献1には、フライホイールを縦に配置した玩具が開示されている。この特許文献1記載の玩具においては、回転伝達機構部によって回転力の伝達方向を変換することで、水平方向に回転するフライホイールの回転力を垂直方向に回転する車輪に伝達し、玩具を走行させている。この特許文献1記載の玩具は、玩具が障害物に衝突した際にフライホイールの回転軸下端が突出するように形成されており、玩具が障害物に衝突した際にフライホイールの回転軸下端を支点として回転するようになっている。このため、特許文献1記載の玩具は、走行させて遊ぶことができる他、何かの障害物に衝突した際にはその場で全体がこまのように(或いは自動車がスピンしたように)回転するという意外な動きを楽しむことができるようになっている。

 しかし、上記した特許文献1記載の玩具は、走行時においてはまっすぐに走行するのみであり、障害物に衝突した際にフライホイールの回転軸下端を支点として回転するとしても、動きとしては直進と回転の2種類でしかなく、動きが比較的予測可能であった。
 そこで、本発明は、従来にはない予測不可能な動きをすることで、意外性と興趣に富んだ走行玩具を提供することを課題とする。
 本発明は、上記した課題を解決するためになされたものであり、以下を特徴とする。

 請求項1に記載の走行玩具は、車体と、前記車体に対して回転自在に軸支される一対の前輪と、前記車体に対して回転自在に軸支される一対の後輪と、前記車体の内部で水平方向に回転可能に配置されたフライホイールと、を備え、前記フライホイールの回転軸の先端には、前記一対の前輪及び前記一対の後輪よりも下方に突出して接地する円柱状のローラが設けられ、前記車体が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって進行方向が変化することを特徴とする。

 すなわち、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の走行玩具と、前記走行玩具を発車させる走行玩具発射装置と、を備え、前記走行玩具発射装置は、走行玩具を載置可能な装置本体と、走行玩具に差し込んで後方から引き抜くことで走行玩具のフライホイールに回転力を付与するラックギアが形成されたベルト体と、を備え、前記装置本体は、ベース体と、前記ベース体の上を摺動可能なスライド部材と、前記スライド部材を前方に付勢する付勢手段と、を有し、前記スライド部材の上に走行玩具をセットした状態で前記ベルト体を引き抜き操作したときに前記ベルト体の引き抜き抵抗によって前記スライド部材が後方に摺動するとともに、前記ベルト体の引き抜きが完了したときに前記スライド部材が前記付勢手段の付勢力によって前方に摺動して走行玩具を発車させることを特徴とする。
 請求項1に記載の発明は上記の通りであり、車体に対して回転自在に軸支される一対の前輪及び一対の後輪と、車体の内部で水平方向に回転可能に配置されたフライホイールと、を備え、前記フライホイールの回転軸の先端には、前記一対の前輪及び前記一対の後輪よりも下方に突出して接地する円柱状のローラが設けられ、前記車体が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって進行方向が変化する。
 このような構成によれば、フライホイールが水平方向に回転したときに、フライホイールの回転軸の先端に設けられたローラが接地し、ローラの回転力によって走行玩具が走行する。すなわち、斜めに傾いたローラの周端縁が地面を蹴ることで、弧を描きながら走行玩具が走行する。なお、このローラが設けられていることで、回転軸の先端が鋭利ではないため、特許文献1記載の玩具のようにフライホイールがコマのように回転することはない。そして、前輪及び後輪によって進行方向が規制されているため、前方向または後方向のいずれかの方向に走行する。
 このとき、前輪及び後輪は回転自在に軸支されており、前輪及び後輪にはフライホイールの回転力が伝達されないため、走行玩具の進行方向は車体が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって決定される。すなわち、フライホイールの回転軸は前輪及び後輪よりも下方に突出しているが、このフライホイールの回転軸だけでは車体を支えられないため、車体は左右のいずれかに傾くこととなる。そして、車体の傾きが左右のいずれであるかによって、ローラの左右いずれかの周端縁が接地する。このとき、ローラの左右のどちら側の周端縁が接地するかによって、地面から見たローラの回転方向が異なるため、すなわち、走行玩具の進行方向が異なる。
 このように、この走行玩具は、弧を描いて走行するとともに、走行中に地面の凹凸などによって車体の傾き方向が変わると進行方向が逆方向に変化するため、従来にはない予測不可能な動きをするようになっており、意外性と興趣に富んだ走行玩具となっている。
 また、請求項2に記載の発明は上記の通りであり、前記一対の前輪と前記一対の後輪との高さ位置が異なる。このような構成によれば、ローラの周端縁を厚く接地させることができるので、ローラの駆動力を最大限に利用して走行玩具を走行させることができる。また、前方向に走行したときと後方向に走行したときとで走行玩具の軌道を異ならせることができるので、より予測不可能な動きを実現できる。また、走行玩具の重心を不安定にすることで車体の傾き方向が変わり易くなるので、頻繁に進行方向を変化させることができ、興趣に富んだ動きを実現できる。
 また、請求項3に記載の発明は上記の通りであり、前記車体の重心位置を左右に変化させるための重心変更部を備えている。このため、重心変更部を使用して車体の重心を変化させることで走行玩具の動きを変えることができるので、より興趣に富んだ走行玩具を提供できる。
 また、請求項4に記載の発明は上記の通りであり、前記重心変更部は、前記車体の上部に傾動可能に配置された人形体である。このため、人形体を傾動させることで、直感的に走行玩具の重心を変えることができる。また、人形体の傾き方により走行玩具の動きが変わるので、人形体がバランスを取りながら蛇行しているような動きとなるため、より興趣に富んだ走行玩具を提供できる。
 また、請求項5に記載の発明は上記の通りであり、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の走行玩具と、前記走行玩具を発車させる走行玩具発射装置と、を備え、前記走行玩具発射装置は、走行玩具を載置可能な装置本体と、走行玩具に差し込んで後方から引き抜くことで走行玩具のフライホイールに回転力を付与するラックギアが形成されたベルト体と、を備え、前記装置本体は、ベース体と、前記ベース体の上を摺動可能なスライド部材と、前記スライド部材を前方に付勢する付勢手段と、を有し、前記スライド部材の上に走行玩具をセットした状態で前記ベルト体を引き抜き操作したときに前記ベルト体の引き抜き抵抗によって前記スライド部材が後方に摺動するとともに、前記ベルト体の引き抜きが完了したときに前記スライド部材が前記付勢手段の付勢力によって前方に摺動して走行玩具を発車させる。
 すなわち、走行玩具発射装置は、走行玩具のフライホイールに回転力を付与するとともに、付勢手段の付勢力によって走行玩具を前方に押し出して発車させるようになっている。このような走行玩具発射装置を使用して走行玩具を発車させれば、発車直後は押し出された勢いで地面の上を滑りながら前方に進み、その後、車体が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって進行方向を変化させつつ、不規則な動きで走行する。よって、動きのパターンが更に予測不可能となり、より興趣に富んだ走行玩具を提供できる。

 本発明の実施形態について、図を参照しながら説明する。
 本実施形態に係る走行玩具セットは、図1及び図6に示すように、走行玩具40と、この走行玩具40を発車させる走行玩具発射装置10と、からなる。
 走行玩具40は、図3~5に示すように、車体41と、一対の前輪45と、一対の後輪46と、車体41の内部で水平方向に回転可能に配置されたフライホイール50と、車体41の上部に傾動可能に配置された人形体60と、を備えている。
 車体41は、前輪45及び後輪46やフライホイール50を回転可能に支持するためのフレームとなる部分である。この車体41の上面には、人形体60を嵌合装着するための装着用凸部42が突出形成されている。また、この車体41の後部には、後述するベルト体30を挿入するための差し込み口43が開口形成されている。この差し込み口43の奥には、前後に貫通する挿通路が形成されており、差し込み口43からベルト体30を挿入したときに、該ベルト体30が車体41を貫通可能となっている。
 一対の前輪45及び後輪46は、それぞれ車体41に対して回転自在に軸支されており、自由に回転できるようになっている。この前輪45及び後輪46は、車体41がスムーズに前方向または後方向に移動できるようにするためのものである。この前輪45及び後輪46は、フライホイール50から独立しており、フライホイール50の動力によって駆動するものではない。なお、本実施形態においては、一対の前輪45と一対の後輪46との高さ位置が異なるように形成されている。詳しくは、フライホイール50の回転軸51の軸方向に見たときに、前輪45の下端位置が後輪46の下端位置よりも高くなるように形成されている。
 フライホイール50は、図5に示すように、回転軸51に所定の径からなる円盤を取り付けたものである。このフライホイール50の回転軸51には、フランジ状の上支持部54及び下支持部55が形成されている。上支持部54は円盤の上方に配置され、下支持部55は円盤の下方に配置されている。この上支持部54及び下支持部55は、車体41の内部で車体41に回転可能に係合している。すなわち、この上支持部54及び下支持部55が車体41に支持されることで、フライホイール50が車体41の内部で水平方向に回転可能に支持されている。
 また、フライホイール50の回転軸51にはピニオンギア52が設けられている。このピニオンギア52は、上記した車体41の挿通路に臨むように配置されている。
 また、フライホイール50の回転軸51の下端には、円柱状のローラ53が設けられている。このローラ53は、フライホイール50の回転軸51に固定されており、回転軸51と一体的に回転可能となっている。このローラ53は、前記した一対の前輪45及び一対の後輪46よりも下方に突出しており、走行玩具40を地面に置いたときに接地するようになっている。
 このローラ53は、フライホイール50の回転力で回転することで、走行玩具40を走行させるための駆動輪として機能する。すなわち、図7に示すように、フライホイール50が水平方向に回転したときに、斜めに傾いたローラ53の周端縁が地面を蹴ることで、走行玩具40が走行する。このとき、ローラ53は斜めに傾いているため、走行玩具40はまっすぐに走行せず、弧を描きながら走行する。
 なお、前輪45及び後輪46は回転自在に軸支されており、前輪45及び後輪46にはフライホイール50の回転力が伝達されないため、走行玩具40の進行方向は車体41が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって決定される。すなわち、フライホイール50の回転軸51(ローラ53)は前輪45及び後輪46よりも下方に突出しているが、このフライホイール50の回転軸51だけでは車体41を支えられないため、車体41は左右のいずれかに傾くこととなる。そして、車体41の傾きが左右のいずれであるかによって、ローラ53の左右いずれかの周端縁が接地する。このとき、ローラ53の左右のどちら側の周端縁が接地するかによって、地面から見たローラ53の回転方向が異なるため、すなわち、走行玩具40の進行方向が異なる。このように、車体41が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって進行方向が変化するようになっている。
 この走行玩具40を走行させると、走行中に地面の凹凸などによって車体41の傾き方向が変わると進行方向が逆方向に変化するため、予測できない不規則な動きをするようになっている。
 人形体60は、車体41の上部に着脱可能となっている。この人形体60は、車体41の重心位置を左右に変化させるための重心変更部として機能する。この人形体60は、図7に示すように、胴体部61と脚部62とが、傾動支点63を中心に互いに傾動可能となっている。なお、特に図示しないが、脚部62の底面には凹部が形成されており、この凹部を使用して人形体60を車体41の上部に装着できるようになっている。すなわち、この凹部を上述した車体41の装着用凸部42に嵌合させることで、人形体60を車体41の上部に装着できるようになっている。
 この人形体60は、車体41に装着した状態で左右に傾動可能なっており、左右に傾動させることで、図7に示すように、車体41の重心位置を左右に変化させることができるようになっている。このため、人形体60を左右いずれかに傾けた状態で走行玩具40を走行させることで、走行玩具40の進行方向を意図的に変化させることができる。例えば、走行玩具40が前方向または後方向に意図的に進みやすく設定することができる。
 走行玩具発射装置10は、走行玩具40を載置可能な装置本体11と、走行玩具40のフライホイール50に回転力を付与するベルト体30と、を備えている。
 ベルト体30は、図6に示すように、走行玩具40に差し込まれる帯状のラックギア31と、ラックギア31の後端に形成されたリング状の指掛部32と、が一体的に形成されたものである。このベルト体30は、走行玩具40の差し込み口43に差し込んで使用される。ベルト体30を走行玩具40の差し込み口43に差し込むと、ベルト体30のラックギア31の歯が走行玩具40の内部でピニオンギア52と噛合するようになっており、ラックギア31を奥まで差し込んでベルト体30を走行玩具40の後方から引き抜くことで、ピニオンギア52と一体的にフライホイール50が回転するように形成されている。
 装置本体11は、図2に示すように、ベース体12と、ベース体12の上を摺動可能なスライド部材20と、スライド部材20を前方に付勢する付勢手段27と、を有している。
 ベース体12は、上面に走行玩具40の走行路13を形成した部材であり、この走行路13と略直交するように側部にグリップ部16が設けられている。使用者がこのグリップ部16を把持して装置本体11を固定することで、固定した装置本体11から走行玩具40を発車できるように形成されている。
 走行路13の上面には、図2に示すように、スライド部材20の摺動をガイドするためのガイド溝14がスライド部材20の摺動方向に沿って形成されている。また、走行路13の裏面には、特に図示しないが、付勢手段27を掛け止めするためのバネ掛止部が突出形成されている。
 スライド部材20は、図2に示すような側面視で略L字形の部材であり、走行路13の上面に当接する底板部21と、底板部21の後部に立設する背板部22と、底板部21の両側部に立設する側板部23と、を有している。
 底板部21は、走行玩具40が収まる幅及び奥行きで形成されており、この底板部21の上に走行玩具40を載置できるようになっている。
 この底板部21の裏面には、図示しない突起部が下方に向けて突出形成されている。この突起部は前述したベース体12のガイド溝14に差し込まれ、これによりスライド部材20がガイド溝14に沿って摺動可能となっている。また、この突起部の先端には付勢手段27が取り付けられる。
 背板部22は、走行玩具40の背面をサポートするための壁部である。後述するように、走行玩具40がベルト体30によって後方へと引っ張られると、背板部22によって走行玩具40の後部がサポートされているため、走行玩具40と一体的にスライド部材20が後方へと引っ張られるようになっている。また、スライド部材20が前方にスライドすると、この背板部22が走行玩具40の背面を押し出して走行玩具40を発車させるようになっている。
 なお、この背板部22には、図1及び図2に示すように、中央にスリット22aが形成されている。このスリット22aは、スライド部材20の上に載置された装置本体11に対してベルト体30を抜き差しするときに、ベルト体30が干渉しないように避ける目的で形成されている。
 側板部23は、走行玩具40の側部をサポートするための壁部である。この側板部23は、走行玩具40が底板部21から脱落するのを防止するとともに、まっすぐ前方を向くように走行玩具40の姿勢を維持させるために設けられている。
 付勢手段27は、図2等に示すような引張バネであり、一端がベース体12のバネ掛止部に取り付けられ、他端がスライド部材20の突起部に取り付けられる。この付勢手段27によってスライド部材20は前方へと付勢されている。詳しくは、自由状態においては、図1や図6(c)に示すようにスライド部材20がガイド溝14の前端位置まで付勢されている。なお、スライド部材20を付勢手段27の付勢力に抗して後方に移動させれば、スライド部材20はガイド溝14に沿ってガイド溝14の後端位置まで摺動できるよう形成されている。なお、この付勢手段27の付勢力は、フライホイール50を回転始動させるときのベルト体30の引き抜き抵抗よりも弱く、かつ、走行玩具40に十分な加速を与えられる程度に強く設定されている。
 図6は、走行玩具40を発車させる様子を示す説明図である。
 走行玩具40を発車させる場合には、まず、図6(a)に示すように、スライド部材20の上面(底板部21の上)に走行玩具40をセットする。そして、ベルト体30のラックギア31を走行玩具40に差し込む。なお、ベルト体30のラックギア31を予め走行玩具40に差し込んでおき、ベルト体30を差し込んだ走行玩具40をスライド部材20の上面に載置してもよい。
 そして、グリップ部16を持ってベース体12を固定した状態で、図6(b)に示すように、ベルト体30を勢いよく走行玩具40から引き抜き操作する。
 このとき、ベルト体30の引き抜き抵抗によってスライド部材20が後方に引っ張られ、付勢手段27の付勢力に抗して後方に摺動する。すなわち、フライホイール50の回転始動時には大きなトルクが必要となるため、ベルト体30の引き抜き抵抗が大きい。この引き抜き抵抗よりも付勢手段27の付勢力の方が弱いため、付勢手段27の付勢力に抗して走行玩具40及びスライド部材20がベルト体30によって後方へと引っ張られる。スライド部材20は、ガイド溝14によって後方への摺動をガイドされているため、まっすぐ後方へとスライドする。
 スライド部材20がガイド溝14の後端までスライドすると、スライド部材20がそれ以上後方に移動できないため、ベルト体30が走行玩具40から徐々に引き抜かれる。これにより、ベルト体30のラックギア31がピニオンギア52に回転力を付与し、ピニオンギア52と一体的にフライホイール50が回転を開始する。
 ベルト体30が完全に走行玩具40から引き抜かれると、図6(c)に示すように、スライド部材20が走行玩具40を押し出して発車させる。すなわち、ベルト体30が引き抜かれることで走行玩具40を後方に引っ張る力がなくなるため、スライド部材20が付勢手段27の付勢力によって前方に摺動する。スライド部材20が前方に摺動すると、背板部22が走行玩具40を前方に押し出すので、その勢いによって走行玩具40が勢いよく発車される。
 このように発車された走行玩具40は、発車直後は押し出された勢いで地面の上を滑りながら前方に進み、その後、車体41が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって進行方向を変化させつつ、不規則な動きで走行する。
 以上説明したように、本実施形態によれば、車体41に対して回転自在に軸支される一対の前輪45及び一対の後輪46と、車体41の内部で水平方向に回転可能に配置されたフライホイール50と、を備え、前記フライホイール50の回転軸51の先端には、前記一対の前輪45及び前記一対の後輪46よりも下方に突出して接地する円柱状のローラ53が設けられ、前記車体41が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって進行方向が変化する。このような構成によれば、フライホイール50が水平方向に回転したときに、フライホイール50の回転軸51の先端に設けられたローラ53が接地し、ローラ53の回転力によって走行玩具40が走行する。すなわち、斜めに傾いたローラ53の周端縁が地面を蹴ることで、弧を描きながら走行玩具40が走行する。なお、このローラ53が設けられていることで、回転軸51の先端が鋭利ではないため、特許文献1記載の玩具のようにフライホイール50がコマのように回転することはない。そして、前輪45及び後輪46によって進行方向が規制されているため、前方向または後方向のいずれかの方向に走行する。
 このとき、車体41の傾きが左右のいずれであるかによって、ローラ53の左右いずれかの周端縁が接地する。そして、ローラ53の左右のどちら側の周端縁が接地するかによって、地面から見たローラ53の回転方向が異なるため、すなわち、走行玩具40の進行方向が異なるようになっている。
 このように、この走行玩具40は、弧を描いて走行するとともに、走行中に地面の凹凸などによって車体41の傾き方向が変わると進行方向が逆方向に変化するため、従来にはない予測不可能な動きをするようになっており、意外性と興趣に富んだ走行玩具40となっている。
 また、前記一対の前輪45と前記一対の後輪46との高さ位置が異なるため、ローラ53の周端縁を厚く接地させることができるので、ローラ53の駆動力を最大限に利用して走行玩具40を走行させることができる。また、前方向に走行したときと後方向に走行したときとで走行玩具40の軌道を異ならせることができるので、より予測不可能な動きを実現できる。また、走行玩具40の重心を不安定にすることで車体41の傾き方向が変わり易くなるので、頻繁に進行方向を変化させることができ、興趣に富んだ動きを実現できる。
 また、前記車体41の重心位置を左右に変化させるための重心変更部を備えているため、重心変更部を使用して車体41の重心を変化させることで走行玩具40の動きを変えることができ、より興趣に富んだ走行玩具40を提供できる。
 そして、前記重心変更部は、前記車体41の上部に傾動可能に配置された人形体60であるため、人形体60を傾動させることで、直感的に走行玩具40の重心を変えることができる。また、人形体60の傾き方により走行玩具40の動きが変わるので、人形体60がバランスを取りながら蛇行しているような動きとなるため、より興趣に富んだ走行玩具40を提供できる。
 また、前記走行玩具発射装置10は、走行玩具40を載置可能な装置本体11と、走行玩具40に差し込んで後方から引き抜くことで走行玩具40のフライホイール50に回転力を付与するラックギア31が形成されたベルト体30と、を備え、前記装置本体11は、ベース体12と、前記ベース体12の上を摺動可能なスライド部材20と、前記スライド部材20を前方に付勢する付勢手段27と、を有し、前記スライド部材20の上に走行玩具40をセットした状態で前記ベルト体30を引き抜き操作したときに前記ベルト体30の引き抜き抵抗によって前記スライド部材20が後方に摺動するとともに、前記ベルト体30の引き抜きが完了したときに前記スライド部材20が前記付勢手段27の付勢力によって前方に摺動して走行玩具40を発車させる。
 すなわち、走行玩具発射装置10は、走行玩具40のフライホイール50に回転力を付与するとともに、付勢手段27の付勢力によって走行玩具40を前方に押し出して発車させるようになっている。このような走行玩具発射装置10を使用して走行玩具40を発車させれば、発車直後は押し出された勢いで地面の上を滑りながら前方に進み、その後、車体41が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって進行方向を変化させつつ、不規則な動きで走行する。よって、動きのパターンが更に予測不可能となり、より興趣に富んだ走行玩具40を提供できる。
 なお、上記した実施形態においては、走行玩具発射装置10を用いて走行玩具40を発車させることとしたが、これに限らない。例えば、単にラックギア31を備えたベルト体30によりフライホイール50に回転力を与え、地面に置いて走行させてもよい。また、ベルト体30を使用せず、他の方法でフライホイール50に回転力を付与してもよい。例えば、フライホイール50やローラ53を地面に押し当てて前後に移動させ、摩擦でフライホイール50に回転力を付与してもよい。

Claims (5)

  1.  車体と、
     前記車体に対して回転自在に軸支される一対の前輪と、
     前記車体に対して回転自在に軸支される一対の後輪と、
     前記車体の内部で水平方向に回転可能に配置されたフライホイールと、
     を備え、
     前記フライホイールの回転軸の先端には、前記一対の前輪及び前記一対の後輪よりも下方に突出して接地する円柱状のローラが設けられ、
     前記車体が左右のどちらに傾いているかによって進行方向が変化することを特徴とする、走行玩具。
  2.  前記一対の前輪と前記一対の後輪との高さ位置が異なることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の走行玩具。
  3.  前記車体の重心位置を左右に変化させるための重心変更部を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の走行玩具。
  4.  前記重心変更部は、前記車体の上部に傾動可能に配置された人形体であることを特徴とする、請求項3記載の走行玩具。
  5.  請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の走行玩具と、
     前記走行玩具を発車させる走行玩具発射装置と、
     を備え、
     前記走行玩具発射装置は、走行玩具を載置可能な装置本体と、走行玩具に差し込んで後方から引き抜くことで走行玩具のフライホイールに回転力を付与するラックギアが形成されたベルト体と、を備え、
     前記装置本体は、ベース体と、前記ベース体の上を摺動可能なスライド部材と、前記スライド部材を前方に付勢する付勢手段と、を有し、
     前記スライド部材の上に走行玩具をセットした状態で前記ベルト体を引き抜き操作したときに前記ベルト体の引き抜き抵抗によって前記スライド部材が後方に摺動するとともに、前記ベルト体の引き抜きが完了したときに前記スライド部材が前記付勢手段の付勢力によって前方に摺動して走行玩具を発車させることを特徴とする、走行玩具セット。
