- Bobbin tubes of filiform material are known for the transport and supply of filiform material, for example for all kinds of threads for the textile industry. These tubes are substantially a circular cylinder. In certain applications the tube must have a constant and through inner diameter since the tube must be housed in an axis that crosses it in its entirety, such as in the continuous spinning of polyester, polyamide or polypropylene. In the present description and claims, this inner diameter has been indicated as the main inner diameter, in the sense that the tube will rest on the shaft and, therefore, must be the minimum inner diameter present inside of the tube.
- These bobbin tubes comprise means for retaining the initial section of the filiform material, which is usually a through hole that crosses the tube wall and is arranged near one of the ends and / or a reserve line or cut, which extends a certain arc along the outer surface of the tube parallel to the lower edge thereof.
- These retention means fix the beginning of the filiform element that forms the coil.
