- a general parking management system installs a vehicle recognizer and a blocking bar at entrance and exit points of a parking lot, and calculates a parking fee using the time difference between entry and exit points of a vehicle and charges the user.
- Most existing systems calculate parking fees by including all travel time from the point of entry into the parking lot to the point of parking, or from the point of departure of the vehicle to the point of departure.
- the travel time in the parking lot increases more than the user's estimated time due to the vehicle matrix.
- the time damage as well as the money damage occurs.
- the existing parking lot management system provides a preliminary settlement service in the parking lot.
- the user since the user must make a preliminary settlement in the prepaid settlement machine fixedly installed at the designated location, there is a problem that the use is quite cumbersome and inconvenient.
- the number of installation of the pre-paid payment in the parking lot is small, the user can spend a considerable time to find the payment, there is a problem that the waiting time for the pre-payment may occur somewhat.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a smart parking management system and method for more effectively managing parking for vehicles using a parking lot in conjunction with a user terminal.
- the present invention provides a smart parking management method using a smart parking management system, when receiving a confirmation of receipt from a user terminal in response to the arrival information of a vehicle entering a parking lot, setting the time of receipt of the arrival confirmation as a parking start time. Abstract
