Abstract
일 실시예에 따른 원자로의 해체 장치는 원자로를 절단하는 절단 장치, 상기 원자로의 내부에 삽입되어 상기 원자로를 인양하는 인양 장치, 그리고 상기 원자로와 상기 인양 장치 사이에 위치하며 상기 절단 장치에 의해 발생하는 방사성 분진의 확산을 차단하는 차폐 장치를 포함한다.
Description
본 발명은 원자로의 해제 시스템에 관한 것이다.
전세계적으로 화석 에너지가 고갈됨에 따라, 주요한 에너지원으로서 원자력발전을 사용하고 있다. 이러한 원자력 발전에서 일반적으로 사용되는 가압 경수로형(Pressurized Water Reactor, PWR) 원자력 발전소는 원자로를 순환하는 1차 계통, 증기 발생기를 순환하는 2차 계통, 그리고 복수기를 순환하는 3차 계통으로 구성된다. 구체적으로 1차 계통에서는 원자로 속에 들어 있는 냉각재에 압력을 가해 150 기압 300℃정도를 유지하고, 2차 계통에서는 이 냉각재가 증기 발생기 세관을 통과하면서 증기 발생기 측의 물을 끓여 수증기를 만들어 터빈을 돌린다. 그리고, 3차 계통에서는 터빈을 돌리고 난 증기는 복수기를 통과하면서 다시 물이 되어 증기 발생기로 보낸다.
이러한 가압 경수로형 원자력 발전소의 원자로는 방사능으로 오염되어 있으므로, 원자로를 절단하여 해체하는 경우, 에어로졸(aerosol), 슬래그(slag) 등의 방사성 분진이 확산되어 주변 기기들을 오염시킬 수 있다.
본 실시예는 해체 공정 시 발생하는 방사성 분진에 의한 주변 기기들의 오염을 방지할 수 있는 원자로의 해체 장치에 관한 것이다.
일 실시예에 따른 원자로의 해체 장치는 원자로를 절단하는 절단 장치, 상기 원자로의 내부에 삽입되어 상기 원자로를 인양하는 인양 장치, 그리고 상기 원자로와 상기 인양 장치 사이에 위치하며 상기 절단 장치에 의해 발생하는 방사성 분진의 확산을 차단하는 차폐 장치를 포함한다.
상기 인양 장치는 상기 원자로에 결합되는 결합 부재, 그리고 상기 결합 부재에 연결되며 상기 원자로를 승강시키는 승강 장치를 포함하고, 상기 차폐 장치는 상기 승강 장치를 둘러싸는 서로 다른 직경의 복수개의 원통 부재를 포함하는 차폐관, 그리고 상기 차폐관의 상부에 위치하며 상기 원자로를 외부와 차단하는 차폐판을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 복수개의 원통 부재는 상기 승강 장치로부터 멀어질수록 큰 직경을 가지고, 상기 원통 부재의 양단부는 인접한 상기 원통 부재의 양단부와 걸쳐지는 걸림턱을 가질 수 있다.
상기 걸림턱은 상기 원통 부재에서 외부로 연장되는 외부 걸림턱, 그리고 상기 원통 부재에서 내부로 연장되는 내부 걸림턱을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 인양 장치에 의한 상기 원자로의 상승 시 상기 차폐관의 원통 부재 중 적어도 일부는 함께 상승할 수 있다.
상기 차폐판은 상기 원자로와 상기 차폐관의 최외곽 원통 부재 사이에 위치하는 복수개의 환기부를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 복수개의 환기부는 상기 차폐판의 가장자리를 따라 형성될 수 있다.
상기 복수개의 환기부에 연결되어 상기 방사성 분진을 포집하는 분진 포집 장치를 더 포함할 수 있다.
일 실시예에 따르면, 원자로와 인양 장치 사이에 길이 조절이 가능한 차폐 장치를 설치함으로써, 원자로의 절단 공정에 따라 용이하게 차폐 장치의 길이를 조절할 수 있다. 따라서, 원자로를 절단하는 절단 장치에 의해 발생하는 방사성 분진의 확산을 용이하게 차단할 수 있다.
또한, 방사성 분진을 차폐판에 형성된 환기부를 통해 집중적으로 포집함으로써, 방사성 분진이 주변 기기를 오염시키거나, 작업자들을 피폭시키는 것을 최소화할 수 있다.

이하, 첨부한 도면을 참고로 하여 본 발명의 여러 실시예들에 대하여 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자가 용이하게 실시할 수 있도록 상세히 설명한다. 본 발명은 여러 가지 상이한 형태로 구현될 수 있으며 여기에서 설명하는 실시예들에 한정되지 않는다.
본 발명을 명확하게 설명하기 위해서 설명과 관계없는 부분은 생략하였으며, 명세서 전체를 통하여 동일 또는 유사한 구성요소에 대해서는 동일한 참조 부호를 붙이도록 한다.
또한, 도면에서 나타난 각 구성의 크기 및 두께는 설명의 편의를 위해 임의로 나타내었으므로, 본 발명이 반드시 도시된 바에 한정되지 않는다.
도 1은 일 실시예에 따른 원자로의 해체 장치의 단면도이고, 도 2는 도 1의 원통 부재의 확대 단면도이며, 도 3은 일 실시예에 따른 원자로의 해체 장치의 단면도이다.
도 1 내지 도 3에 도시한 바와 같이, 일 실시예에 따른 원자로의 해체 장치는 원자로(200)를 절단하는 절단 장치(300), 원자로(200)를 인양하는 인양 장치(10), 원자로(200)를 절단하면서 발생하는 방사성 분진(1)의 확산을 차단하는 차폐 장치(40), 원자로(200)를 둘러싸는 생체 보호 콘크리트(100)를 외부와 차단하는 분진 차단 장치(400), 그리고 방사성 분진(1)을 포집하는 분진 포집 장치(500)를 포함한다.
절단 장치(300)는 열적 절단 장치, 와이어 쏘(wire saw)와 같은 기계적 절단 장치, 또는 레이저(laser)와 같은 전기적 절단 장치 등을 포함할 수 있다. 그러나, 절단 장치는 반드시 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 원자로를 절단할 수 있는 다양한 장치가 적용 가능하다.
인양 장치(10)는 원자로(200)의 내부에 삽입되어 원자로(200)를 인양할 수 있다. 인양 장치(10)는 원자로(200)의 내측에 돌출될 결합턱(200a)에 결합되는 결합 부재(11), 그리고 결합 부재(11)에 연결되며 원자로(200)를 승강시키는 승강 장치(12)를 포함할 수 있다.
결합 부재(11)는 원판 형상을 가진다. 그러나, 반드시 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 원자로(200)의 내측에 삽입되어 원자로(200)와 결합될 수 있는 형상이라면 다양한 형상이 가능하다.
승강 장치(12)는 원판 형상의 결합 부재(11)의 중앙부와 연결되어 결합 부재(11)를 함께 승강시키는 봉 형상일 수 있다.
차폐 장치(40)는 원자로(200)와 인양 장치(10) 사이에 위치하여 원자로(200)의 상단부(210)를 절단하는 절단 장치(300)에 의해 발생하는 방사성 분진(1)의 확산을 차단할 수 있다. 차폐 장치(40)는 승강 장치(12)를 둘러싸는 서로 다른 직경의 복수개의 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f)를 포함하는 차폐관(20), 그리고 차폐관(20)의 상부에 위치하며 원자로(200)를 외부와 차단하는 차폐판(30)을 포함할 수 있다.
본 실시예에서는 차폐관(20)은 6개의 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f)로 이루어진 것으로 도시하였으나, 반드시 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며 다양한 수로 원통 부재로 이루어질 수 있다.
차폐관(20)을 이루는 복수개의 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f)는 승강 장치(12)로부터 멀어질수록 큰 직경을 가질 수 있다. 따라서, 도 1에 도시한 바와 같이, 차폐관(20)은 인양 장치(10)의 승강 장치(12)와 접촉하지 않은 상태에서는 전체적으로 계단형 형상을 가질 수 있다.
도 1 및 도 2에 도시한 바와 같이, 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f)의 양단부는 인접한 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f)의 양단부와 걸쳐지는 걸림턱(4)을 가질 수 있다. 도 2에서는 하나의 원통 부재(21b)를 참고로 하여 상세히 설명한다. 도 2에 도시한 바와 같이, 걸림턱(4)은 원통 부재(21b)에서 외부로 연장되는 외부 걸림턱(6), 그리고 원통 부재(21b)에서 내부로 연장되는 내부 걸림턱(5)을 포함할 수 있다. 본 실시예에서는 중력 방향을 기준으로 원통 부재(21b)의 상단부에 외부 걸림턱(6)이 위치하고, 원통 부재(21b)의 하단부에 내부 걸림턱(5)이 위치할 수 있다.
따라서, 도 1에 도시한 바와 같이, 인접하는 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f)의 내부 걸림턱(5)과 외부 걸림턱(6)이 서로 접촉하게 되므로 차폐관(20)은 중력에 의해 전체적으로 계단형 형상을 가지게 된다.
따라서, 절단 장치(300)를 이용하여 원자로(200)를 절단하여도 차폐 장치(40)는 슬래그, 흄가스, 에어로졸 등과 같은 방사성 분진(1)이 인양 장치(10)를 오염시키는 것을 차단할 수 있다.

도 4에 도시한 바와 같이, 절단 장치(300)를 이용하여 원자로(200)의 중간부(220)를 절단하기 위해 인양 장치(10)를 이용하여 원자로(200)의 상승시키는 경우, 차폐관(20)의 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f) 중 적어도 일부는 함께 상승하게 된다. 즉, 인양 장치(10)의 결합 부재(11)와 접촉하는 원통 부재의 일부(21a, 21b, 21c)가 인양 장치(10)와 함께 상승하게 된다. 따라서, 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c)의 일부는 서로 중첩하게 되어 차폐관(20)의 길이를 단축시킬 수 있다.
즉, 도 1에서는 차폐관(20)의 길이가 L1의 크기를 가졌으나, 도 4에서처럼, 원자로(200)를 상승시킨 경우, 차폐관(20)의 길이는 L1보다 작은 L2의 크기를 가질 수 있다.
이 때, 차폐관(20)의 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f) 중 승강 장치(12)에 가장 인접한 원통 부재부터 차례로 승강 장치(12)와 함께 상승하게 된다. 즉, 도 4에 도시한 바와 같이, 6개의 원통 부재 중 승강 장치(12)에 가장 인접한 3개의 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c)가 먼저 상승하여 서로 중첩하게 된다. 그러나, 반드시 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 원자로(200)의 상승 높이에 따라 다양한 수의 원통 부재가 서로 중첩될 수 있다.
그리고, 도 5에 도시한 바와 같이, 원자로(200)의 하단부(230)를 절단하기 위해 원자로(200)를 더욱 상승시키는 경우, 차폐관(20)을 이루는 모든 원통 부재(21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f)가 서로 중첩하게 된다. 따라서, 차폐관(20)의 길이(L3)는 더욱 짧아지게 된다.
이와 같이, 원자로(200)의 상단부부터 하단부까지 원자로(200)를 상승시키면서 절단하는 경우, 승강 장치(12)를 방사성 분진(1)으로부터 차단하는 차폐 장치(40)의 길이도 단축시킬 수 있으므로 차폐 장치(40)를 승강 장치(12)와 원자로(200) 사이에 용이하게 삽입할 수 있다.
차폐판(30)은 원자로(200)와 차폐관(20)의 최외곽 원통 부재(21f) 사이에 위치하는 복수개의 환기부(30a)를 포함할 수 있다. 도 3에 도시한 바와 같이, 복수개의 환기부(30a)는 차폐판(30)의 가장자리를 따라 형성될 수 있다. 이러한 차폐판(30)은 승강 장치(12)를 중심축으로 하여 회전할 수 있다. 따라서, 환기부(30a)의 위치를 조절할 수 있으므로, 방사성 분진(1)의 양에 따라 환기부(30a)의 위치를 조절하여 효과적으로 방사성 분진(1)을 포집할 수 있다.
분진 차단 장치(400)는 원자로(200)를 둘러싸는 생체 보호 콘크리트(100)를 외부와 차단할 수 있다.
분진 포집 장치(500)는 복수개의 환기부(30a)에 연결되어 환기부(30a)를 통해 포집된 방사성 분진(1)을 포집할 수 있다. 본 실시예에서는 분진 포집 장치(500)가 차폐판(30)에 설치되어 있으나, 반드시 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며 다양한 위치에 설치될 수 있다.
따라서, 방사성 분진(1)을 차폐판(30)에 형성된 환기부(30a)를 통해 집중적으로 포집함으로써, 방사성 분진(1)이 주변 기기를 오염시키거나, 작업자들을 피폭시키는 것을 최소화할 수 있다.
본 개시를 앞서 기재한 바에 따라 바람직한 실시예를 통해 설명하였지만, 본 발명은 이에 한정되지 않으며 다음에 기재하는 특허청구범위의 범위를 벗어나지 않는 한, 다양한 수정 및 변형이 가능하다는 것을 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에 종사하는 자들은 쉽게 이해할 것이다.
Claims (8)
- 원자로를 절단하는 절단 장치,상기 원자로의 내부에 삽입되어 상기 원자로를 인양하는 인양 장치, 그리고상기 원자로와 상기 인양 장치 사이에 위치하며 상기 절단 장치에 의해 발생하는 방사성 분진의 확산을 차단하는 차폐 장치를 포함하는 원자로의 해체 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 인양 장치는상기 원자로에 결합되는 결합 부재, 그리고상기 결합 부재에 연결되며 상기 원자로를 승강시키는 승강 장치를 포함하고,상기 차폐 장치는상기 승강 장치를 둘러싸는 서로 다른 직경의 복수개의 원통 부재를 포함하는 차폐관, 그리고상기 차폐관의 상부에 위치하며 상기 원자로를 외부와 차단하는 차폐판을 포함하는 원자로의 해체 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 복수개의 원통 부재는 상기 승강 장치로부터 멀어질수록 큰 직경을 가지고,상기 원통 부재의 양단부는 인접한 상기 원통 부재의 양단부와 걸쳐지는 걸림턱을 가지는 원자로의 해체 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 걸림턱은상기 원통 부재에서 외부로 연장되는 외부 걸림턱, 그리고상기 원통 부재에서 내부로 연장되는 내부 걸림턱을 포함하는 원자로의 해체 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 인양 장치에 의한 상기 원자로의 상승 시 상기 차폐관의 원통 부재 중 적어도 일부는 함께 상승하는 원자로의 해체 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 차폐판은 상기 원자로와 상기 차폐관의 최외곽 원통 부재 사이에 위치하는 복수개의 환기부를 포함하는 원자로의 해체 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 복수개의 환기부는 상기 차폐판의 가장자리를 따라 형성되는 원자로의 해체 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 복수개의 환기부에 연결되어 상기 방사성 분진을 포집하는 분진 포집 장치를 더 포함하는 원자로의 해체 장치.
