Description
본 발명은 RGV 시스템에서 운행되는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 고속 주행을 위해 대용량의 모터를 사용하는 대신 마스터 모터와 슬레이브 모터를 서로 병렬로 동기화하여 사용함으로써 모터의 사이즈와 용량을 줄이면서 무인이송대차를 고속으로 운행할 수 있으며, 마스터 모터의 토크를 추종하도록 슬레이브 모터를 제어함으로써 마스터 모터와 슬레이브 모터에 토크를 균등하게 분배하여 안정적으로 무인이송대차를 운행할 수 있는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치에 관한 것이다.
우리가 살고 있는 현대 사회의 산업에서는 생산된 물품을 신속하게 유통시키는 기술이 물류 산업에 종사하고 있는 업체들에게는 핵심 경쟁력이 되고 있는 실정이다.
경쟁력을 높이기 위해 무인 자동화 시스템을 도입하고 인력으로 작업하기 힘든 곳에 로봇을 확대 사용하고 있어, 인건비 절약 및 작업의 효율성과 생산성을 높이고 있다.
이러한 자동화 시스템에서 많이 사용하고 있는 장비 중의 하나가 무인이송대차(AUTOMATIC GUIDED VEHICLE; 일명 AGV)인데, 최근에는 물류센터와 같이 대단위의 제품들을 취급하는 장소에 무인이송대차가 채용되어 널리 사용되고 있다.
자동창고의 입출고시스템에서 RGV(Rail Guided Vehicle) 시스템이 널리 사용되고 있는데, RGV 시스템은 레일 상에서 무인이송대차가 왕복운동을 행하면서 입고라인이나 입출고라인의 컨베이어를 타고 이송되는 소정 제품을 일정 지점으로 이동시킨 후 출고라인이나 입출고라인의 컨베이어를 통해 반출시키도록 구성된다.
RGV 시스템은 통상적으로 한 개의 무인이송대차가 메인 서버로부터 목적지를 할당받아 레일 상을 주행하면서 화물의 이동 또는 적재 작업을 수행하는 역할을 행하도록 이루어진다. 그러나 한 개의 무인이송대차를 매개로 구성되는 RGV 시스템은 물동량의 처리에 한계가 있으므로, 높은 물동량 처리를 요구하는 현장에는 적절치 못한 문제점이 발생하게 되었으며, 또한 입출고라인이 많은 현장에서는 그 만큼 사용 빈도가 높기 때문에 과부하가 우려되는 문제점도 발생하게 되었다.
이에, 최근에는 두 대 이상의 무인이송대차가 레일 위를 주행하도록 하여 RGV 시스템의 처리 물동량을 크게 높인 싱크로나이즈 RGV 시스템이 개발되어 현장에 적용되고 있는 실정이다.
RGV 시스템에서 물동량을 향상시기키 위하여 무인이송대차의 속도를 제어하는 것이 필요하다. 즉 가속 구간, 감속 구간 및 정속 구간을 설정하여 각 구간에 따라 설정된 최대 속도로 무인이송대차를 운행 제어하여 물동량을 향상시킬 수 있다.
종래 RGV 시스템에서 무인이송대차의 이동 속도는 160m/min 이하이며 가감속 1m/sec2으로 운행되지만, 최근 고속 RGV 시스템의 경우 무인이동대차의 최대 이동 속도 300m/min와 가감속도 2m/sec2로 운행되는 것이 요구된다.
이러한 고속 주행의 RGV 시스템의 경우 무인이송대차에 대용량의 주행 모터를 사용하여야 하며 무인이송대차의 고속 주행 관성으로 인하여 휠과 레일 사이의 들뜸 현상이 발생하여 마찰력 감소로 주행 중 슬립이 발생하는 문제점을 가진다.
본 발명은 위에서 언급한 고속 주행의 RGV 시스템에서 운행되는 무인이송대차가 가지는 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로, 본 발명이 이루고자 하는 목적은 마스터 모터부와 슬레이브 모터부를 병렬로 연결하여 주행 모터의 용량과 크기를 줄이며 고속 주행이 가능한 무인이송대차의 구동 장치를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명이 이루고자 하는 다른 목적은 마스터 모터의 토크를 추종하도록 슬레이브 모터를 제어하여 마스터 모터와 슬레이브 모터가 서로 동기화되어 운행되는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명이 이루고자 하는 또 다른 목적은 마스터 모터 및 슬레이브 모터에 각각 연결되는 구동휠을 통해 주행 중 슬립의 발생을 줄여 정확하게 속도 제어가 가능한 무인이송대차의 구동 장치를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명이 이루고자 하는 또 다른 목적은 실시간으로 수신하는 마스터 모터의 회전 속도에 따라 단위 구간마다 마스터 모터의 토크를 제어하기 위한 전류 지령을 보상할 수 있는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치는 무인이송대차를 이동시키는 제1 구동휠을 구동하는 마스터 모터부와, 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도와 무인이송대차의 절대 위치에 기초하여 마스터 모터부의 전류 지령값을 생성하는 마스터 제어부 무인이송대차를 이동시키는 제2 구동휠을 구동하는 슬레이브 모터부와, 전류지령값에 기초하여 마스터 모터부의 토크를 추종하도록 슬레이브 모터부로 인가되는 전원을 제어하는 슬레이브 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 마스터 제어부는 무인이송대차의 절대 위치에 기초하여 무인이송대차의 속도 지령을 생성하는 위치 제어부와, 속도 지령과 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도 정보로부터 마스터 모터부의 전류 지령값을 생성하는 속도 제어부와, 전류 지령값에 따라 마스터 모터부로 제공되는 전원을 생성하는 인버터부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

바람직하게, 속도 제어부는 무인이송대차의 절대 위치와 다음 절대 위치까지를 다수의 단위 구간으로 구분하며, 각 단위 구간에서 속도 지령과 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도 정보로부터 무인이송대차의 속도를 보상하여 전류 지령값을 생성하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치는 다음과 같은 효과를 가진다.
첫째, 본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치는 고속 주행을 위해 대용량의 모터를 사용하는 대신 마스터 모터와 슬레이브 모터를 서로 병렬로 동기화하여 사용함으로써, 모터의 사이즈와 용량을 줄이면서 무인이송대차를 고속으로 운행할 수 있다.
둘째, 본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치는 마스터 모터의 토크를 추종하도록 슬레이브 모터를 제어함으로써, 마스터 모터와 슬레이브 모터에 토크를 균등하게 분배하여 안정적으로 무인이송대차를 운행할 수 있다.
셋째, 본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치는 마스터 모터 및 슬레이브 모터를 통해 각각 구동휠을 구동함으로써, 고속 주행 중 슬립의 발생을 줄일 수 있으며 정확하게 속도 제어가 가능하다.
넷째, 본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치는 실시간으로 수신하는 마스터 모터의 회전 속도에 따라 단위 구간마다 마스터 모터의 토크를 제어하기 위한 전류 지령을 보상함으로써, 설정한 위치까지 정확한 속도 제어가 가능하다.

본 발명에서 사용되는 기술적 용어는 단지 특정한 실시 예를 설명하기 위해 사용된 것으로, 본 발명을 한정하려는 의도가 아님을 유의해야 한다. 또한, 본 발명에서 사용되는 기술적 용어는 본 발명에서 특별히 다른 의미로 정의되지 않는 한, 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의해 일반적으로 이해되는 의미로 해석되어야 하며, 과도하게 포괄적인 의미로 해석되거나, 과도하게 축소된 의미로 해석되지 않아야 한다. 또한, 본 발명에서 사용되는 기술적인 용어가 본 발명의 사상을 정확하게 표현하지 못하는 잘못된 기술적 용어일 때에는, 당업자가 올바르게 이해할 수 있는 기술적 용어로 대체되어 이해되어야 할 것이다.
또한, 본 발명에서 사용되는 단수의 표현은 문맥상 명백하게 다르게 뜻하지 않는 한 복수의 표현을 포함한다. 본 발명에서, "구성된다" 또는 "포함한다" 등의 용어는 발명에 기재된 여러 구성 요소들, 또는 여러 단계를 반드시 모두 포함하는 것으로 해석되지 않아야 하며, 그 중 일부 구성 요소들 또는 일부 단계들은 포함되지 않을 수도 있고, 또는 추가적인 구성 요소 또는 단계들을 더 포함할 수 있는 것으로 해석되어야 한다.
또한, 첨부된 도면은 본 발명의 사상을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것일 뿐, 첨부된 도면에 의해 본 발명의 사상이 제한되는 것으로 해석되어서는 아니 됨을 유의해야 한다.
이하 첨부한 도면을 참고로 본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치에 대해 보다 구체적으로 살펴본다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치를 설명하기 위한 기능 블록도이다.
도 1을 참고로 보다 구체적으로 살펴보면, 무인이송대차를 구동하기 위하여 마스터 모터부(130)와 슬레이브 모터부(170)를 구비한다. 여기서 마스터 모터부(130)와 슬레이브 모터부(170)는 무인이송대차의 구동휠을 구동하기 위한 구동원으로 사용된다.
종래 무인이송대차의 경우 레일을 따라 이동하는 4개의 휠을 구비하는데, 4개의 휠 중 1개는 구동휠로 동작하고 나머지 3개의 휠은 종동(idle)휠로 동작한다. 따라서 종래 무인이송대차의 경우 구동휠을 구동하기 위한 1개의 모터만이 사용되었으며, 1개의 구동휠이 나머지 3개의 종동휠을 이끌며 무인이송대차를 이동시킨다.
반면 본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치의 경우 무인이송대차의 4개의 휠 중 2개의 휠은 구동휠로 동작하며 나머지 2개만이 종동휠로 동작한다. 여기서 마스터 모터부(130)는 제1 구동휠을 구동하고 슬레이브 모터부(170)는 제2 구동휠을 구동한다.
여기서 4개의 휠 중 구동휠은 서로 동일한 레일을 따라 이동하는 2개의 휠이 사용되거나 서로 다른 레일을 따라 이동하는 2개의 휠이 사용될 수 있다.
무인이송대차는 레일을 따라 이동하며 화물을 이동하거나 적재하는데, 레일에는 무인이송대차의 위치를 판단하기 위한 위치 식별자가 배치되어 있으며 무인이송대차에는 위치 식별자를 감지하기 위한 위치 감지부(120)가 배치되어 있다. 마스터 제어부(110)는 위치 감지부(120)를 통해 판단한 무인이송대차의 절대 위치에 기초하여 무인이송대차를 가속, 감속 또는 정속의 속도 패턴으로 속도를 제어한다.
즉, 마스터 제어부(110)는 무인이송대차의 절대 위치에 기초하여 무인이송대차가 속도를 줄이며 이동하여야 하는 위치에 있는 경우 무인이송대차의 속도가 감속되도록 마스터 모터부(130)의 속도를 제어하며, 무인이송대차가 속도를 증가시키며 이동하여야 하는 위치에 있는 경우 무인이송대차의 속도가 증가하도록 마스터 모터부(130)의 속도를 제어하며, 무인이송대차가 정속을 유지하며 이동하여야 하는 위치에 있는 경우 무인이송대차의 속도가 정속을 유지하도록 마스터 모터부(130)의 속도를 제어한다.
통상적으로 구동휠은 레일과의 마찰력을 증가시키고 접지력을 높이기 위하여 우레탄과 같은 재질로 제작되는데, 본원발명에서 마스터 모터부와 슬레이브 모터부을 이용하여 병렬로 배치되는 2개의 구동휠에 균등한 토크를 발생시켜 무인이송대차를 이동시킴으로써 고속 주행시 또는 고속 가감속시 레일과의 들뜸 현상을 줄여 슬립이 발생하는 것을 방지하며, 대용량 및 대형의 모터부를 사용하지 않고도 고속 주행이 가능하다.
본원발명에서 속도 감지부(190)는 마스터 모터부(130)의 회전 속도를 감지하는데, 속도 감지부(190)의 일 예로 엔코더가 사용될 수 있다. 속도 감지부(190)는 마스터 모터부(130)의 회전 속도를 실시간으로 감지하여 마스터 제어부(110)로 제공한다.
바람직하게, 마스터 제어부(110)는 위치 감지부(120)를 통해 판단한 무인이송대차의 현재 위치와 속도 감지부(190)에서 판단한 마스터 모터부(130)의 회전 속도에 기초하여 무인이송대차를 감속, 가속 또는 정속으로 속도를 제어할 것인지 판단하여 전류 지령값을 생성한다. 즉, 마스터 제어부(110)는 무인이송대차의 현재 위치에서 설정된 속도 지령값과 회전 속도 정보로부터 무인이송대차를 이동 제어하기 위한 전류 지령값을 생성한다.
여기서 마스터 제어부(110)는 속도 감지부(190)로부터 회전 속도에 대한 정보를 실시간으로 제공받는데, 마스터 제어부(110)는 실시간으로 제공받는 회전 속도 정보를 고려하여 무인이송대차가 설정된 속도로 이동하도록 전류 지령값을 갱신하여 생성한다.
바람직하게, 마스터 제어부(130)는 무인이송대차의 절대 위치와 다음 절대 위치까지를 다수의 단위 구간으로 구분하며, 각 단위 구간에서 속도 지령과 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도 정보로부터 무인이송대차의 속도를 보상하여 전류 지령값을 생성한다.
한편, 슬레이브 제어부(150)는 마스터 제어부(130)의 제어에 따라 슬레이브 모터부(170)의 토크량이 마스터 모터부(130)의 토크량을 추종하도록 슬레이브 모터부(170)로 인가되는 전원을 변환 생성한다. 슬레이브 제어부(150)는 슬레이브 모터부(170)가 마스터 모터부(130)의 토크량을 추종하도록 제어하기 위하여, 마스터 제어부(110)로부터 제공되는 전류 지령값에 따라 전원을 변환 생성하며, 생성한 전원을 슬레이브 모터부(170)로 제공한다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 마스터 제어부를 설명하기 위한 기능 블록도이다.
도 2를 참고로 보다 구체적으로 살펴보면, 위치 제어부(111)는 무인이송대차의 절대 위치에 기초하여 현재 무인이송대차의 위치에서 설정된 속도에 따라 무인이송대차의 속도 지령 신호를 생성한다. 즉, 위치 제어부(111)는 위치 식별자를 통해 판단한 무인이송대차의 현재 위치에 기초하여 무인이송대차를 가속, 감속 또는 정속 중 어느 하나의 속도 패턴으로 이동시킬지에 따라 그리고 설정된 속도로 무인이송대차를 이동시키기 위한 속도 지령 신호를 생성한다.
속도 제어부(113)는 속도 지령 신호와 속도 감지부로부터 실시간으로 제공되는 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도 정보로부터 마스터 모터부의 전류 지령값을 생성한다.
한편, 전원 변환부(115)는 전류 지령값에 따라 마스터 모터부로 제공되는 전원을 변환 생성하는데, 여기서 전원 변환부(115)의 일 예는 인버터인 것을 특징으로 한다.
도 3은 무인이송대차의 속도 제어 예를 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
도 3을 참고로 보다 구체적으로 살펴보면, 무인이송대차(V)에는 4개의 휠이 설치되어 있는데, 제1 레일(R1)을 따라 2개의 종동휠(I1, I2)이 이동하며 제2 레일(R2)을 따라 2개의 구동휠(D1, D2)이 이동한다. 제1 구동휠(D1)은 마스터 모터부로 구동되며, 제2 구동휠(D2)는 슬레이브 모터부로 구동된다. 본 발명이 적용되는 분야에 따라 제1 레일(R1)을 따라 이동하거나 제2 레일(R2)을 따라 이동하는 구동휠의 위치를 변경할 수 있다.
무인이송대차(V)가 레일(R1, R2)를 따라 이동 중 배치되어 있는 위치 식별자(M1)를 감지하는 경우, 위치 식별자(M1)에 기초하여 무인이송대차(V)의 현재 위치를 판단하며 마스터 제어부는 무인이송대차(V)의 현재 위치에서 설정된 속도 패턴에 따라 무인이송대차(V)를 구동 제어한다. 예를 들어, 위치 식별자(M1)에 기초하여 무인이송대차를 현재 위치부터 감속시켜 스테이션(S)에서 정지시키는 경우, 마스터 제어부는 현재 위치에서 설정된 속도 패턴과 속도로 무인이송대차를 구동시키기 위해 무인이송대차의 현재 속도에 기초하여 무인이송대차의 속도를 제어하기 위한 전류 지령값을 생성하여 마스터 모터부를 구동 제어하며, 슬레이브 제어부는 마스터 모터부의 토크값을 추종하도록 전류 지령값에 따라 슬레이브 모터부를 구동 제어한다.
무인이송대차는 감속 운행하며 다음 위치 식별자(M2)를 감지하는 경우, 정지하여 스테이션에 정지한다.
바람직하게, 본 발명에 따른 무인이송대차의 구동 장치는 위치 식별자와 다음 식별자 사이 구간을 다수의 단위 구간으로 구분하여 무인이송대차의 속도를 제어하는데, 도 4를 참고로 보다 구체적으로 살펴보면 제1 위치 식별자(M1)와 제2 위치 식별자(M2)의 위치는 마스터 제어부에 기등록 저장되어 있다. 따라서 마스터 제어부는 제1 위치 식별자(M1)을 감지하는 경우 제1 위치 식별자와 다음 제2 위치 식별자(M2) 사이의 거리를 판단할 수 있으며, 제1 위치 식별자와 제2 위치 식별자 사이의 거리(d)를 다수의 단위 구간(d1, d2, d3, d4)으로 구분한다.
마스터 제어부는 각 단위 구간에서 설정된 속도 지령과 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도 정보로부터 무인이송대차의 속도를 보상하여 전류 지령값을 생성한다. 이와 같이 마스터 제어부는 다수의 단위 구간으로 구분하여 무인이송대차의 속도를 보상함으로써, 보다 세밀하고 정확하게 무인이송대차의 속도를 제어할 수 있다.
본 발명은 도면에 도시된 실시예를 참고로 설명되었으나 이는 예시적인 것에 불과하며, 본 기술 분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 이로부터 다양한 변형 및 균등한 타 실시예가 가능하다는 점을 이해할 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명의 진정한 기술적 보호 범위는 첨부된 등록청구범위의 기술적 사상에 의해 정해져야 할 것이다.
Claims (5)
- 무인이송대차를 이동시키는 제1 구동휠을 구동하는 마스터 모터부;상기 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도와 상기 무인이송대차의 절대 위치에 기초하여 상기 마스터 모터부의 전류 지령값을 생성하는 마스터 제어부;상기 무인이송대차를 이동시키는 제2 구동휠을 구동하는 슬레이브 모터부; 및상기 전류지령값에 기초하여 상기 마스터 모터부의 토크를 추종하도록 상기 슬레이브 모터부로 인가되는 전원을 제어하는 슬레이브 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 마스터 제어부는상기 무인이송대차의 절대 위치에 기초하여 상기 무인이송대차의 속도 지령을 생성하는 위치 제어부;상기 속도 지령과 상기 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도 정보로부터 상기 마스터 모터부의 전류 지령값을 생성하는 속도 제어부; 및상기 전류 지령값에 따라 상기 마스터 모터부로 제공되는 전원을 생성하는 인버터부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 위치 제어부는상기 무인이송대차의 절대 위치에 기초하여 가속, 감속, 정속 중 어느 하나의 속도 패턴을 가지도록 상기 무인이송대차의 속도 지령을 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 슬레이브 제어부는상기 전류 지령값에 기초하여 상기 마스터 모터부의 토크를 추종하도록 상기 슬레이브 모터부로 제공되는 전원을 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 속도 제어부는상기 무인이송대차의 절대 위치와 다음 절대 위치까지를 다수의 단위 구간으로 구분하며,각 단위 구간에서 상기 속도 지령과 상기 마스터 모터부의 회전 속도 정보로부터 상기 무인이송대차의 속도를 보상하여 상기 전류 지령값을 생성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무인이송대차의 구동 장치.
