Definitions
- the following disclosure relates to a device for manufacturing a main thread, a decorative fiber entwined with the main thread, and a design thread.
- the yarn may be given periodic or aperiodic changes such as loops and slabs in advance for the purpose of giving a decorative effect to the woven fabric or knitted fabric. Threads given such changes are often referred to as design threads. Many design threads have been proposed so far.
- the manufacturing method of the design yarn is not constant, and it may be changed at the stage of the spinning process, or it may be processed into a yarn after spinning to give a change. Even in the case of processing, one thread may be processed, or one thread may be entangled with another thread.
- Patent Document 1 discloses related techniques.
- a decorative yarn is supplied from the side to a running main yarn, and then a secondary yarn is entwined to manufacture a design yarn in which the three parties are entwined with each other.
- design yarns can be efficiently manufactured by a simple device, but the yarns are only entangled with each other by the focusing action brought about by processing such as false twisting, so that the focusing property is still improved. There is room.
- the design yarn manufacturing apparatus including at least the first and second yarns and the decorative fibers entwined with the yarns rotates about an axis to form the first yarns.
- the ejection nozzle that supplies the decorative fiber and the first thread that accompanies the decorative fiber pass through any of the first bobbin that is sent out while swirling and the range in which the first thread swivels. It comprises a hollow spindle, and includes a second bobbin that rotates about an axis and feeds out while swirling the second thread and winds around the first thread with the decorative fiber.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic elevational view of an apparatus for manufacturing a design yarn according to an embodiment.
- FIG. 2 is a schematic elevational view showing the process of entwining decorative fibers with threads.
- FIG. 3 is a schematic cross-sectional elevation view showing a state in which decorative fibers are entwined with threads using a guide.
- FIG. 4 is a schematic elevational view of an apparatus for manufacturing a design yarn according to another embodiment.
- FIG. 5A is a schematic view showing the mode of the yarn and the decorative fiber immediately after being entangled.
- FIG. 5B is a schematic view showing the mode of the design yarn after being twisted.
- the apparatus according to the present embodiment is suitably used for manufacturing a design yarn 10 including at least the main yarns 1 and 3 and the decorative fibers 5c that are intermittently cut and entangled with the main yarns 1 and 3. can do.
- design yarn 10 is used for, for example, woven fabrics or knitted fabrics to bring a decorative effect to them.
- such devices generally include a first bobbin 11 that delivers a first thread 1, an assembly that supplies decorative fibers 5c to the first thread 1, and a second thread.
- a second bobbin 13 for sending out 3 and a winder 31 for winding up the manufactured design thread 10 are provided.
- a thread guide such as a ring or a roller can be appropriately arranged to guide the threads 1, 3 and 5 as shown in the figure.
- the first thread 1 and the second thread 3 are wound around the first and second bobbins 11 and 13, respectively, and are configured to send out the thread by rotating around an axis, respectively.
- bobbins 11 and 13 for example, bobbins used in well-known covering machines, which are used in combination with a hollow spindle, can be used.
- the hollow spindle is configured to allow the threads to pass axially, as will be described later.
- the hollow spindle is not essential for the first bobbin 11, and may be replaced with a solid shaft that rotates with the bobbin. In any case, the hollow spindle or solid shaft is designed to transmit its rotation to the bobbin.
- the hollow spindle or shaft is rotated by the belt drive by the belt connected to the motor or the direct drive directly connected to the motor, and the first and second bobbins 11 and 13 are rotated together with the rotation of the first and second bobbins.
- the threads 1 and 3 are sent out while swirling around their respective axes.
- the second bobbin 13 is arranged to receive the first thread 1 drawn from the first bobbin 11 in its hollow spindle.
- the second bobbin 13 may be slightly separated from the first bobbin 11 in the axial direction, for example, may be arranged on the same axis, or may be appropriately offset.
- a centering guide may be arranged between the bobbins 11 and 13 so as to guide the first thread 1 to the center.
- a centering guide may be arranged to guide the second thread 3 to the center.
- the assembly for supplying the decorative fiber 5c includes, for example, a thread feeding creel 15 for sending out the decorative thread 5, an ejection nozzle 19 for guiding the air flow A1, and a cutter 21.
- a supply assembly is arranged to supply the decorative thread 5c to the swirling range of the first thread 1. More preferably, the decorative thread 5c is supplied near the apex where the first thread 1 turns, for example, directly above or directly below the centering guide when it is installed.
- the decorative thread 5 sent out from the thread feeding creel 15 is passed through the ejection nozzle 19 and is intermittently cut by the cutter 21 to become the decorative fiber 5c, which is carried on the air flow A1 and discharged.
- Join thread 1 Join thread 1.
- the ejection nozzle 19 is, for example, an elongated hollow tube, for example, one end thereof is connected to a blower such as a blower, and the other end is opened toward a swirling first thread 1.
- a blower such as a blower
- the air flow A1 by the blower always flows from one end to the other end in the ejection nozzle 19 when the device is in operation.
- the decorative thread 5 is drawn out from the decorative thread creel 15, introduced into the inside through an opening opened on the side surface of the ejection nozzle 19, and discharged from the other end on the air flow A1.
- the cutter 21 is arranged downstream of, for example, the ejection nozzle 19. More specifically, the cutter 21 is drawn between the thread 1 drawn from the first bobbin 11 and directed to the second bobbin 13, or between the nozzle 17 and the ejection nozzle 19 when the nozzle 17 described later is used. Is placed in.
- the cutter 21 is, for example, a sickle with a blade.
- the cutter 21 is drawn to be installed outside the ejection nozzle 19, but may be inside the ejection nozzle 19.
- the decorative thread 5 is tensioned by the air flow A1 and is easily cut by touching the cutter 21.
- the decorative thread 5 can be intermittently fed to promote cutting, and for that purpose, for example, the decorative thread creel 15 can be equipped with a servomotor. Alternatively, the roller that guides the decorative thread 5 may include a servomotor. Further, an intermittently operating clamp may be used. The clamp may be installed outside the ejection nozzle 19, or may be built in the ejection nozzle 19. When the traveling decorative thread 5 is stopped by these means, it touches the cutter 21 and is cut.
- the cutter 21 may be a scissors or a hair clipper instead of a sickle, and may be provided with a driving device such as a motor mechanism or a solenoid mechanism for driving the scissors or hair clippers.
- the decorative thread 5 may be cut by using a thermal means or a laser.
- the device may be provided with a clamp in order to temporarily hold the decorative fiber 5c closer to the first thread 1 than the cutter 21.
- the decorative fiber 5c cut in advance is prepared and held by the clamp, and when the clamp releases the decorative fiber 5c, the decorative fiber 5c is sequentially supplied to the first thread 1.
- the device for cutting the decorative thread 5 may be between the thread feed creel 15 and the ejection nozzle 19.
- the cut decorative fiber 5c rides on the air flow A1 and flies toward the swirling first thread 1.
- the direction of the ejection nozzle 19, that is, the direction of the air flow A1 may be orthogonal to the axis on which the first thread 1 turns, but this is not essential and may be oblique.
- the direction of the ejection nozzle 19 may be horizontal or diagonal. Since the first thread 1 not only travels in the axial direction but also swirls around the axis, it captures and entangles the flying decorative fiber 5c. The first thread 1 runs to the second bobbin 13 with the decorative fiber 5c.
- the device may include a plurality of sets of supply assemblies. If the device comprises multiple sets of feed assemblies, these feed assemblies may feed different types of threads in terms of color, thickness, or other attributes.
- the decorative fiber 5c can be entangled with the first thread 1 in an open space, but as illustrated in FIG. 3, to make sure that the decorative fiber 5c is entangled with the first thread 1.
- a guide 17 can be used.
- the guide 17 is, for example, generally a hollow cylinder, and the inside is a hollow 17h extending in the axial direction.
- an opening 17t is opened in the upper and lower side surfaces thereof, and the first thread 1 is guided to the second bobbin 13 through the opening 17t.
- the decorative fiber 5c supplied from the ejection nozzle 19 can pass through the cavity 17h.
- the guide 17 may be connected to or integrated with the ejection nozzle 19.
- the cavity 17h is sized so that the first thread 1 can swivel around the axis inside the cavity 17h.
- the first thread 1 that has swiveled directly under the guide 17 can still swivel in the cavity 17h even after passing through the lower opening 17t.
- the decorative fiber 5c is surely entwined with it.
- the device is configured to supply the decorative fiber 5c from the side of the first thread 1, but the decorative fiber 5c is supplied in the same direction as the first thread 1. You may.
- FIG. 4 is an example of a device having such a configuration.
- the first bobbin 11 also has a hollow spindle, which is used to supply decorative fibers 5c.
- the supply assembly for supplying the decorative fiber 5c is the same as the configuration already described except for the orientation, and the ejection nozzle 19 is directed to the hollow spindle of the first bobbin 11.
- the decorative fiber 5c supplied from the feed assembly reaches the first thread 1 that swivels through the hollow spindle.
- Each element is adjusted to reach preferably near the apex of the swivel and near the center of the swivel axis.
- An elongated guide tube extending through the hollow spindle may be used to deliver the decorative fiber 5c near the apex of the swirl.
- the decorative fiber 5c is entangled with the first thread 1 at such a position and is sent to the second bobbin 13 together with the first thread 1.
- the first thread 1 passes through the hollow spindle of the second bobbin 13 with the decorative fiber 5c.
- the decorative fiber 5c remains entwined with the first thread 1.
- the second thread 3 is sent out while turning around the axis.
- the second yarn 3 while swirling, joins and winds on the first yarn 1 with the decorative fibers 5c, which constitute an integral twisted yarn that is actually twisted.
- the decorative fiber 5c is wound and fixed in the actual twisted structure of the first and second threads 1 and 3, and the whole constitutes one design thread 10. Since the decorative fiber 5c is firmly fixed in the design thread 10, it does not fall off as fluff.
- the design thread 10 with the decorative fiber 5c is wound around the winder 31.
- the size of the structure formed by the decorative fibers can be freely changed by the length of cutting the decorative threads, and the spacing between adjacent structures can also be freely changed by the spacing of cutting the decorative threads. .. Needless to say, the size and spacing can be changed for each structure. Further, as already described, since two or more decorative threads can be used, for example, different colors can be used for each structure.
- the decorative fiber is firmly incorporated into the actually twisted yarn, the structural stability of the design yarn is improved.
