Abstract

La présente invention concerne une batterie secondaire au lithium présentant une sécurité améliorée pendant un emballement thermique, la batterie secondaire au lithium comprenant : une électrode positive comprenant un matériau actif d'électrode positive ; une électrode négative comprenant un matériau actif d'électrode négative ; et un électrolyte, la batterie secondaire au lithium présentant une tension nominale de 3,68 V ou plus, et lorsqu'un module de test est fabriqué par empilement de quatre des batteries secondaires au lithium complètement chargées jusqu'à 4,35 V puis mesurées pour VT, qui est représenté par l'équation (1) suivante, la valeur de mesure est de 4 Ah/s ou moins. Équation (1) : VT = Ctotal/t, où Ctotal correspond à la capacité de décharge totale du module de test ; et t correspond au temps pris à partir du moment où la tension de la batterie secondaire au lithium placée au niveau de la partie la plus à l'extérieur du module de test atteint 0 V après avoir été allumée par chauffage, jusqu'à ce que la tension de toutes les batteries secondaires au lithium à l'intérieur du module de test atteigne 0 V.
