Se describe un procedimiento para la preparacion de compuestos opticamente puros de 3(R)- y 3(S)-hidroxi-1-metil-4-(2,4,6-trimetoxifenil)-1,2,3,6-tetrahidro-piridina o bien de los ésteres de ácido carboxílico por conversion estereodiferenciadora del a mezcla de enantiomeros por medio de unaenzima.
