Abstract

Se describe un elemento de sujecion para aparatos fijadores externos (2), del tipo que comprende varillas (8, 9, 10) y aros (6, 7), usados para estabilizar fracturas en cirugía ortopédica; dicho conector de sujecion fija por lo menos uno de los alambres tensores (4) de los fragmentos oseos (3) y los tornillos para huesos (11) a uno de los aros. Ventajosamente, el elemento de esta invencion comprende una rotula (12), la cual consiste en una primera parte (13) y una segunda parte (14) asociadas entre si alrededor de un eje de giro comun (x-x), hallándose formada cada parte (13, 14) con al menos un orificio (16) de un diámetro predeterminado, para sujetar allí el alambre tensor (4) o el tornillo para hueso (11). Sobre cada una de estas partes (13, 14) también se provee un medio (18) de sujecion a una varilla (8, 9, 10) o a un aro (6, 7) del dispositivo fijador y este medio de sujecion se usa para fijar el alambre tensor (4) o el tornillo para hueso (11) en la parte (13, 14) de la rotula (12) que no está conectada a la varilla o al aro.
