Abstract

L'invention concerne de nouvelles 3-(2-haloalkyl)-1,4-oxathiines ou 2-(2-haloalkyl)-1,4-dithiines utiles pour povoquer la régression ou l'inhibition du développement de la leucémie et des tumeurs chez les mammifères. Ces composés répondent à la formule dans laquelle R1 représente un groupe alkyle en C1-C4, cyclohexyle ou phényle; R2 représente H ou un groupe éthyle; R3 et R4 représentent chacun H, un groupe méthyle ou un groupe éthyle et, lorsque R3 ou R4 est un groupe méthyle ou éthyle, l'autre représente H; X représente un atome d'halogène; et Y représente un atome d'oxygène ou de soufre et lorsque Y représente un atome de soufre, R3 et R4 représentent tous les deux H. L'invention concerne également des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant ces composés en mélange avec un support en substance non toxique et pharmaceutiquement acceptable.
