Fig. 1 est une vue en coupe horizontale au travers du haut d'une de ces machines à moudre ou broyer;
Fig. 2 en donne unevue de coté, partiellement en coupe;
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Figs 3 et 4 sont des vues de détails;
Fig. 5 montre en projection horizontale une autre for- me d'exécution;

REVENDICATIONS.

DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY DEPOSITED WITH THE APP OF A REQUEST FOR BSETET D'INVENTIO.
Device for mechanical milling equipment.
The object of the present invention is a device applicable to grinding or grinding machines, and thanks to which their development and construction are facilitated; it consists mainly in that the dormant grinding wheel is, without the action of clamping pieces with eccentricity and spherical conformation, held so that it can move to a certain degree which one considers advantageous, with this consequence of do not expose the frame of the grinding system to any detrimental tension force: the running wheel resting directly on the dormant wheel,
In the accompanying drawings, which show a realizing example of the inventions
Fig. 1 is a horizontal sectional view through the top of one of these grinding or grinding machines;
Fig. 2 gives a side view, partially in section;
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Figs 3 and 4 are detail views;
Fig. 5 shows in horizontal projection another embodiment;
Fig. 6 is the corresponding vertical sectional view; Fig. 7 is a detail view.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, on the frame 1 of the machine, stand three columns 2 fitted with slots 3 intended for the support bolts. At the periphery of the dormant grinding wheel 4 are fitted three flanges 5 hollowed out with grooves 6 shaped like a dovetail or similar shape; the side of these facing the columns is eccentric with respect to the periphery of the grinding wheel, while the inner face of these grooves 6 which presents a concentric curvature with respect to the shaft of the grinding wheel, acts stopper for the head of the bolts 7.
A counter-applied washer 8 shaped as a spherical cap is added to the bolts, to press against an interior face 9 of the support ?. which is of corresponding shape; so that, when these bolts 7 exert traction, despite the eccentricity of the ribs, there can be no harmful lateral tensions between the supports and the grinding of the grinding wheel.
When the bolts are loosened, it is possible, simply by rotating the fixed grinding of the grinding wheel, to press the fishplates 5 so as to make them always correspond to the columns of the frame, after which the assembly is fully tightened.
The head of the bolt could be rounded on the inside or else have spherical-shaped bearing washers, as shown in fig. 4.
Under these conditions, a suspension is produced which is automatically centered relative to a bearing cast in the grinding wheel intended for the control shaft 12 of the lower grinding wheel; consequently the assembly is done more quickly.

dament, besides that the focusing is always precise and that the walking is very easy because there is no harmful lateral tensions.
In the embodiment of figs b to 7 there are provided in the fixed upper grinding wheel 4, tenons or dowels 13 which protrude at the periphery in the form of ends 14 at court: spherical bure ,, At these tenon ends are adapted clamping plates lb or concave recesses 16 into which the ends of tenons enter and by the cooperation of the cylindrical outer part of the crusher, their tightening is carried out inside the columns. Qaand it is this method of fixing which is adapted, the stop or counter-bearing of the tenons of the grinding wheel can, when the adjustment and the tightening of the grinding wheel are done, move and turn in such a way that it no harmful lateral tensions intervene.
Also in this embodiment, the assembly is carried out quickly, with automatic centering, in a precise manner and free from tension forces, which results in precision in the setting and ease of walking.
One could also provide, according to the invention, the adaptation, to the spherical tension surfaces, of stop plates with eccentricity, that is to say, of conical shape and with appropriate centering.
