<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Au-delà de l'axe 40, qu'elle traverse centralement de même que l'arbre 22,se prolonge la tringle 33 du curseur 32;
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

MACHINE CALLED "ROLLER" FOR BAKERY.
It is known that the kneading of the dough pieces by hand called in bakery "rolling" or "knotting" is a tiring operation, so much so that this "knotting" becomes more and more irregular to be only superficial and consequently insufficient. production is also influenced by the fatigue imposed by this tedious operation.
The present invention relates to a machine making it possible to substitute "rolling" or "tying" by hand for mechanical tying.
This machine essentially comprises a tank subjected to a continuous rotational movement, a pear-shaped mass rotating in the opposite direction inside said tank under the action of a differential mechanism housed inside the opening and controlled by the rotation of the latter and a member called "snail" inserted between the tank and the pear and intended for the expulsion of the worked product.
We thus realize a machine, which in addition to its
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
hygienic character, produces an integral "knotting", that is to. to say that the last dough piece is as perfectly tied as the first, and ensures a constant production, while requiring only a less robust personnel.
The drawing appended to this specification shows in sectional elevation an embodiment of a machine according to the invention.
On a base i is fixed by screws 3 a slider 3 in which is housed centrally a tube 4 maintained by a screw 5. Via a ball stop 6 rests externally to the slider a bush 7 forming part of a tank 8 of special shape, and integral with a worm wheel 9, with which a worm 10 engages directly coupled to an electric motor not shown. A housing II contains these control members and serves as a bearing for the worm end 10; this casing, secured in a sealed manner on the base I of the machine, collects the oil in which the ball bearing 6 bathes.
In the upper part of the sleeve 7 of the tank penetrate pins 12 passing through a first toothed crown I3, with which successive crowns 14, 15, 16 are made integral by means of a wedge 17, passing through these crowns. as well as a bronze nozzle 18 mounted on the central tube 4. Its crowns 13,14,15, and 16 have chaoune a determined number of teeth and mesh respectively with wheels 18,19,20 and 21 having the same number of teeth The latter are mounted freely on a shaft 22 and each have grooves 33 corresponding simultaneously to grooves 34 provided in the shaft 32.
Rings 25 also provided with grooves 26 corresponded to those of the shaft 32 and the wheels 35 separate these from each other, while smooth rings 27 and 23 keep the wheels toothed between a ball bearing 35 and a nut 30, which a safety washer 31 prevents from accidentally loosening. The smooth rings 27 and 38 also serve as a stop to limit the travel of a slider 32, at the same time.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
which is fixed a rod 33 housed inside the shaft 33, which it passes through over its entire length.
u
Above the differential mechanism formed by the conjugate wheels 18 to 23, the shaft 22 penetrates obliquely into one. flaring 4a of the tube 4 and extends axially in an inflected upper part 4b of the latter, to end with a conical bearing surface 22a wedged in a socket 34 of a pear-shaped mass 35, which thus plunges into the tank 5. The pear 35 blocked by a threaded ring 36 is embossed on its outer part.
The annular space, or working chamber, of characteristic profile, formed between the tank 8 and the bulb 35 is limited at the lower part by a projecting crown 37 formed by a rib of the tank and curved so as to connect. to the external curvature of the pear 35.
The shaft 22 is held in place by the ball bearings 38, 39 mounted at the top of the tube 4 and by the ball thrust 39 surmounting the gear train 18 to 31.
On the other hand, in the bearing surface 22a of the shaft 22 is housed an axis 40, provided with rings 41 and 42 and with stops 43 and 44; this axis passes through a sleeve 45 carried by arms 46 each connected respectively to columns 47 integral with the base I. From the socket 45 leaves a third arm 48 ending in tabs. 49 to which the expulsion member 50 called "esoargot" is fixed.
This wraps around the pear 35 and ends at the bottom of the opening 8.
Windows SI and 52 are provided in the lower part of the tank 8 to allow, on the one hand, to remove the materials which, passing between the bulb and the tank, will be retained by an internal annular partition 53 provided at the bottom. inside it and on the other hand to monitor or adjust the differential mechanism.
Beyond the axis 40, which it crosses centrally as well as the shaft 22, extends the rod 33 of the slider 32;
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
this rod carries above the sleeve 45 an operating button 54 and can be blocked in a position determined by a ball 55.
From this description, it emerges that the cellar @ and the pear 35 rotate continuously in the opposite direction to each other at a speed determined by the position of the cursor 32, which will make it integral with the shaft 33 the wheel in which it is engaged Subsequently while the bowl 8 rotates at a constant speed, 0: 1 will obtain following the position of the cursor four different speeds of the pair; its speeds have been advantageously established for dough pieces of 1 / 2 Kg., I Kg., I 1/2 kg., And 8 kg.
The speed of the bulb has been previously adjusted by acting on the operating button 54, the dough piece is dropped from a hopper (not shown) carried by the arm 48 in the cavity formed between the wall and the tank, and like these organs turn in the opposite direction, the dough piece is driven at the selected speed. During the journey made by the dough in the open, he is his friend to a work of "knotting" favored by the shape of the walls of the working chamber until the moment when it arrives at the base of the snail, in which he goes by the pear. The dough piece thus rises in the snail which finally expels it out of the apparatus to send it to a table or an appropriate transport member.
It would not be departing from the field of the invention to use other equivalent constructive forms for the stated purpose, for example by controlling the shaft 22 by a cardan device or any other suitable transmission mode, independently of the transmission mechanism. tank control.
