Au dessin annexé, est représenté, à titre d'exem- ple, un mode de réalisation de la présente invention, dans lequel : la fig. 1 montre, en coupe longitudinale, un ustensile pour râper mécaniquement les aliments suivant la présente invention ;
Suivant le mode de réalisation représenté au dessin, le dispositif de commande comprend un arbre verti- oal 1, qui porte à sa partie inférieure deux pales d'entrai- nement 2-2' et à sa partie supérieure, une manivelle 3; cet arbre tourne avec son extrémité inférieure dans un trou cen- tral 4 d'une râpe 5 ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
Suivant les matières à traiter, les aspérités ont une conformité appropriée; comme l'ustensile doit pouvoir trouver son application à plusieurs matières de nature diffé- rente, la râpe doit pouvoir être remplacée facilement par une autre.- Il suffit, à cet effet, de remonter la traverse et de retirer les éléments rotatifs pour exercer une poussée sur la râpe, sur sa face inférieure, à un endroit diamétralement op- posé à l'ergot 12, de sorte à permettre à la râpe de se lever d'un côté dans le récipient et à pouvoir dégager le dit ergot 12 de l'évidement 13 ;

Oisin utensil to rip the liment
The present invention relates to a ouisien utensil which makes it possible to mechanically grate vegetables as well as certain raw fruits as well as cheese and other foods which lend themselves to it, thus eliminating a multitude of various devices, -
One of the characteristics of the present invention lies in the fact that the utensil includes a receptacle, a part of which has been formed by a ripe integral with said receptacle, a rotating element having at least one agenated blade so as to move freely above it and at minimum rasp spacing,
in order to entrain the said material, while forcing it against this grater during this training.
Another oaraoteriatic of the invention consists in that the rotating element consisting of at least one blade, low inolination is terminated by a lower edge bent at a sharp angle.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
In the accompanying drawing is shown, by way of example, an embodiment of the present invention, in which: FIG. 1 shows, in longitudinal section, a tool for mechanically grating food according to the present invention;
the rig. 2 is a plan view of the device, while FIG. 3 is an elevational view of the rotary element for driving the material to be passed.
Fig. 4 shows, on a larger scale, a roughness of the rasp.
According to the embodiment shown in the drawing, the control device comprises a vertical shaft 1, which carries at its lower part two drive blades 2-2 'and at its upper part, a crank 3; this shaft rotates with its lower end in a central hole 4 of a rasp 5;
Sheet metal rasp is preferably placed between a cylindrical part 6 and an upper frustoconical part 7 constituting a container, while said shaft 1 is held at its upper part by a detachable cross member 6.-
However, the container can afieoter any other shape, such as cylindrical, or any other suitable arrangement.
-
The grater 5 thus constituting the bottom of the receptacle bears cutting asperities 9 preceded in the direction of the rotational movement of the crank 3 by holes 10.-
The asperities which form a rasp can be arranged according to the radius or, preferably, at an appropriate angle of inclination with respect to the radius, either in one direction or the other.
This arrangement makes it possible to attack, in a progressive and continuous manner, the materials to be grated and therefore
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
even, to distribute the effort to be deployed in a more rational way.
The grater 5, while being removable, is held stationary in the container by placing on a rim 11,
while a pin 12 is introduced into an opening 13 provided in the thickness of the wall of the container.
The blades 2-2 'constituting the rotary element of the device are of low inclination, while the lower edge 14 is bent at a sharp angle to be directed perpendicularly on the plane of the rasp, the distance between said blades and the rasp. being such that the lower edge of the blades is at a minimum spacing of said rasp 5, without however coming into contact with the asperities during their rotation.
The low inclination of the rotating element, which may include one or more blades with a lower edge bent at a sharp angle and of low height, roroe the materials to come in oontaot with the rasp, and this as a result of said inclination,
while the lower edge erected on the rasp prevents the blades from passing over small pieces without pulling them on the said fixed rasp 5. -
Depending on the materials to be treated, the asperities have an appropriate conformity; as the utensil must be able to find its application to several materials of different natures, the rasp must be able to be easily replaced by another - To this end, it suffices to raise the crosspiece and remove the rotating elements to exert a pushed on the rasp, on its underside, at a location diametrically opposed to the lug 12, so as to allow the rasp to rise on one side in the container and to be able to release the said lug 12 from the lug 12 'recess 13;
to then place a new rasp, we act in the opposite way - to arrive at a minimum distance between the rotary element and the asperities, any known means can be provided, ae so as to make an adjustment in the event of use of graters with roughness of different heights.
