Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MéTODO DE BINARIZAçãO DE IMAGENS". O método para a transformação de uma imagem digital (A) tendo diversos níveis de cinza em uma imagem binária (F) na qual cada pixel é codificado em mais de um bit consiste na aplicação, em cada pixel corrente (P), da imagem digital tendo diversos níveis de cinza, de vários processos diferentes de binarização paralelos (T1, T2, T3), cada qual liberando como saída um valor binário para este pixel corrente e em combinação (T4) os valores binários liberados pelos vários processos de binarização para cada pixel corrente da imagem digital tendo diversos níveis de cinza de modo a obter um valor binário resultante que constitui o pixel correspondente da imagem binária.
